- Being alone for so long, Koi makes Christmas more about just embracing the spirit rather than being with anyone.
- Every November 1st she digs out her decently sized Christmas Village, dusts it off and places it in the main room. She started it a year or two before she met anyone so most of it came out of her own pocket, except the buildings she made from scratch from bottles (the most impressive being a crystal castle made of hot glue. She has a lot of time on her hands.)
- Afterwards it’s usually baking cookies, playing some music and generally putting glitter everywhere.
- One year after she had met people, she did her normal routine but put signs of don’t touch the hot pan around bc she fell asleep on the couch so everyone has to tip toe around her bc she decorated every room.
- Heck, they even contributed a good amount to the village (and no, they did not stop laughing about the shitting man or the dinosaurs Richter put in. Seteth wasn’t amused bc other religion blah blah.)
- One Christmas she let the garreg Mach student crew stay in her dimension and Sothis was just in love with the little village. Everyone else brought at least one building for the village, and the golden deer definetely contributed to their odd mug collection. That was the first Christmas after the war where everyone could come together, even if some of them died. Dimitri and Edelgard mended their relationship over Mario Kart, Ferdinand had a lot of explaining to do and Jeritza didn’t bring up the death knight once bc everyone was so happy he had sweets.
- That was also the year Bernie introduced Dorothea to Yuri and they hit it off great.
- Everyone is confused why Koi has so many dads but one mom until Eliwood explains that they’re symbolically her parents, not actually. And also Koi finds more Dad figures than moms.
- Shes also found random recipes for cookies from time to time in the back of the cabinet so she writes them down and passes them along to everyone who want a taste of the season.
- So after that Christmas the village takes up like 2/3 tables rather than half a counter like it used to
