My Hero Academia Oneshots

It feels like falling.

It feels like rain.

Tomura Shigaraki was constantly plagued with nightmares from an early age. Even after his ‘Sensei’ had rescued him,the boy would wake up screaming nearly every night from nightmares. His bed would always be decayed,and his eyes would always be full of fear. His dreams always felt like he was falling apart,or like he was in a never-ending storm. 

All For One had been clueless about what to do to keep his future successor from decaying everything around him for nearly a month before he found a solution. It would require kidnapping a little girl,but that was a necessary action he had to take in order to get Tomura to calm down at night. Sending one of his lackeys to fetch the girl was easy,but even All For One was shocked to see the extent of the child’s anger.

“Yes,she’ll do quite nicely..” All For One said as he watched his lackey struggle to carry her. The girl was hitting and kicking the man as hard as she could,struggling angrily as she did so. 

“Sensei,who is that?” Tomura asked curiously,peering out from behind his master’s leg. He was only six years old,but he knew better than to act like the angry girl was. 

“Tomura,that girl is going to be your first comrade besides myself and Kurogiri.” All For One said,grinning evilly. “Don’t worry about her name,because you don’t need to worry about her for quite some time. She needs to be trained properly before I can give her to you,but soon enough your rough nights won’t be that horrible anymore.” 

“What’s that supposed to mean?” Tomura asked,peering up at him. The little boy scratched at his neck nervously,All For One grabbing the boy’s wrists and pulling them away to stop the child’s assault on his own skin. 

“It seems I’ll have to buy you more medicine. For now,just go lay down and forget you saw her,okay?” All For One asked,his voice full of fake worry. Tomura just stared up at him quietly,the boy soon just nodding and walking back to his room. He had woken up from a nightmare before and gone to seek out his Sensei for comfort,which was the only reason he had found out about his ‘surprise’ before All For One wanted him to.

A month passed before Tomura saw the other child again,and she had made a drastic change in personality. Tomura watched her in shock from his window as she walked across the courtyard,a stack of books on her head. 

“Kurogiri,why is she doing that?” Tomura asked the man curiously,Kurogiri leaning over his shoulder to see what the boy was referring to. 

“Ah,people used to do that often as a way to practice balance. As part of her training,she has to have exemplary balance.” Kurogiri explained,Tomura looking up at him curiously. 

“How come? What does that have to do with her being my comrade?” Tomura asked,staring up at the man. 

“She needs to be well-trained in order to be of use to you.” Kurogiri said,looking away from the window when he saw one of the books slide off the little girl’s head. Tomura turned back to the window after Kurogiri turned away,his eyes widening when he saw the girl get slapped by one of his sensei’s lackeys. The force from the hit made her fall to the ground,which pissed Tomura off. Seeing his ‘comrade’ get hit angered him more than anything,but he couldn’t do anything about it. 

“Kurogiri,you have to go and help her. If she’s supposed to be my ‘comrade’,she’s not allowed to get hurt.” Tomura said,Kurogiri shaking his head. 

“I would if I could,but All For One will take care of it.” The man said,nodding to the window once again. Tomura looked outside,his eyes widening when he saw his Sensei hold out his hand to help the girl up. She just stared at his hand hesitantly,All For One scooping her up and carrying her inside. The lackey was left behind in a bloodied mess,the girl peering over All For One’s shoulder at the bloodied corpse. She had been manipulated into only trusting what All For One told her,but that didn’t make it any easier to see him murder people. Tomura grinned at the sight,knowing his Sensei had become a ‘true hero’ to yet another person.

Tomura suffered from another month of horrid nightmares,the boy decaying his bed yet again. He ended up in a fit of tears,All For One soothing him. 

“I’m not mad,Tomura.” The man said,Tomura sniffling and wiping at his eyes. Tomura was the perfect person to be his successor,but All For One knew not to force the child out of his childish nature. Tomura needed to think of him as a hero if All For One wanted him to become a ‘perfect villain’,so the man pretended to care about the child’s anxieties. 

“But it.. I keep decaying my beds..” Tomura sniffled,All For One ruffling the boy’s hair. 

“She’s almost ready to be of assistance to you,Tomura,but you must be patient. Once she’s ready,you’ll never decay anything as long as she’s around.” All For One said,Tomura wiping his eyes and looking up at him with a sniffle. 

“What does that even mean..?” The little boy asked,All For One letting out a laugh. 

“You’ll find out soon enough. For now,go lay down on the couch in your room and get some rest.” He ordered,Tomura reluctantly going back to his room. 

Being alone was the thing that gave Tomura the most anxiety,but the boy at least had his ‘family’. He examined the hands of his deadly family members in silence,before his attention was drawn away by the glow of the moon through his window. He walked over to it and looked outside,staring at the moon in silence. He felt better when he saw the moon at night,the boy counting a few stars before he began to feel sleepy again. He walked over to the couch and laid down,the boy dozing off soon after.

Tomura suffered one more month of horrible nightmares,and Kurogiri was on the verge of losing his mind as he tried to calm the crying boy. 

“Tomura,your Sensei already said it was fine for you to make mistakes,did he not?” Kurogiri asked,Tomura sniffling as he looked up at him. 

“But that.. It was a game Sensei gave me..” Tomura sniffled. All For One had purchased the console in hopes that playing games would teach Tomura something about strategy,but the boy had decayed it barely a day later. 

“And he’ll just buy you another one,alright? All For One won’t be angry at you for making a mistake because he can always fix it for you.” Kurogiri said,trying to hold himself back from sighing. All For One spoiled the boy,something Kurogiri couldn’t quite understand. 

“Alright..” Tomura muttered,sniffling a little. His breakdowns always ended after being told that All For One would fix his problems for him,mainly because he knew it was true. As long as he had Sensei,things would be okay. 

“Now go get some air,okay? Being inside all day isn’t good for you.” Kurogiri told him,the boy nodding as he headed outside. The sun was shining brightly,but Tomura didn’t feel lonely as he walked around.

“Tomura,you’ve done a good job being patient.” All For One praised his successor,ruffling the boy’s hair. The little girl was by his side,her hair tied back into a braid as she stood there. “Now then,I’ll allow her to introduce herself.” 

“I’m (First Name) (Last Name). It’s a pleasure to meet you,my little master.” The girl,(First Name),said as she gave a curtsy. Tomura stared at her in shock and confusion,looking up at his Sensei. 

“Why did she call me ‘master’,Sensei?” The boy asked,All For One laughing. 

“Tomura,(First Name) here is going to be by your side from now on. She’ll be working as your very own attendant,so she’ll refer to you as ‘master’ from now on. You won’t have to worry about decaying things as long as she’s around.” All For One told him,grinning evilly. “So long as you’re touching her in some way,your Quirk won’t be able to activate.” 

“Is that her Quirk?” Tomura asked,All For One nodding and ordering the girl to explain her Quirk. They had done quite a few experiments on her in order to figure out the extent of her power,so they had plenty of knowledge on the girl now. 

“My Quirk cancels out other peoples Quirks when they touch me,so you won’t be able to decay me or anything else as long as I’m around.” (First Name) explained,still keeping her head down. All For One told her to raise her head,the girl doing as ordered. 

“So.. I can touch you freely?” Tomura asked,(First Name) nodding. Tomura reached out and grabbed her arm,his eyes widening and lighting up when he realized the girl really wasn’t decaying.

“I’ll be with you all night and day from now on in order to ensure your Quirk doesn’t accidentally destroy something,so please feel free to rely on me.” (First Name) said politely. She had grown to trust All For One because of his ‘kind’ actions towards her over the last few months,so training to be Tomura’s attendant had been her way of ‘repaying’ him. 

“I must take my leave to attend to some other business,so watch over him,(First Name).” All For One ordered,the girl nodding and curtsying to the man as he left. Tomura just kept touching the girl curiously,absolutely amazed at the fact that the girl wasn’t decaying. 

“Your Quirk is awesome..” Tomura praised,the girl a little thrown off by his words. She recovered her composure quickly,however,and thanked him. “Does this mean you’ll be staying with me even while I’m sleeping?”

“Yes. I’ll be sharing a bed with you from now on,so please pardon my intrusion.” (First Name) said,Tomura nodding slightly. 

When night came,Tomura laid down and just stared at the ceiling,(First Name) laying beside him. They were holding hands,mainly since Tomura had found it the easiest form of contact all day. 

“Ne,(First Name),Sensei kidnapped you,didn’t he?” Tomura asked her curiously,already knowing the answer to his question. 

“Yeah,he did.” (First Name) said,looking over at him. “Why?” 

“I’m just wondering why you’re so well-behaved.. Sensei saved me,so I want to repay him for everything,but I don’t understand why you’re being so nice..” Tomura told her honestly. 

“It’s because master All For One is kind.” (First Name) said,looking over at him. “My parents weren’t very nice,and they said that my Quirk was bringing shame to them because they were heroes,so I was never praised before he brought me here.. Being able to help you and Master All For One makes me really happy.” 

“Did you ever want to be a hero?” Tomura asked her quietly. He knew he’d get in trouble if anyone else heard him ask such a question,but he knew (First Name) wouldn’t lie to him. He had spent a ‘normal’ day with her,and it felt like he’d returned to life before his Quirk had awoken. 

“Yeah,I did.” (First Name) said honestly. She wouldn’t lie about it,even though she knew she probably should. “Before I had a Quirk,my parents would leave me with the neighbors and go to work.. They weren’t big heroes or anything,but I really wanted to be like them..” 

“I used to want to be a hero as well..” Tomura told her,looking over at her to see her reaction. A little surprised that she didn’t seem as shocked as he had expected,the boy just looked back at the ceiling. “But heroes don’t love people like us,so we have to be villains.” 

“Yeah.. Master All For One is way kinder than any hero I’ve ever met..” (First Name) said,Tomura nodding and giving her a small smile. 

“I’m his successor,so you don’t need to worry about anything.” He bragged,yawning as he snuggled closer to her. He was exhausted after spending the day studying,so he was ready to doze off any second now. “I’m gonna be the best villain one day.. and I’ll protect the people the heroes don’t love… So just watch me..” He muttered as he fought to stay awake,(First Name) just nodding and smiling a little. 

Like losing my balance

Again and again.

Tomura Shigaraki’s nightmares began to get better after two weeks of being around the girl,beginning to find a sense of normalcy thanks to (First Name)’s constant presence. Thanks to her,the only time he accidentally decayed anything was when he was in the bathroom,as that was the only time the girl wasn’t around him. 

“Master,when do you think Master All For One will return?” The girl asked him curiously,squeezing his hand as she watched him work on the ‘homework’ Kurogiri had given him. They were both ‘homeschooled’,but (First Name) had already learned English,meaning she was ahead of Tomura. 

“He said he’ll be back this week,so he’ll probably come back on Friday.” Tomura said as he continued to look over the worksheet. “Hey,what does this say?” He asked,pointing at one of the questions. She translated it for him,the boy nodding as he started to write down the answer. “Did you need Sensei for something?” 

“I was just curious ‘cause I haven’t seen him for nearly a week so far..” (First Name) admitted,squeezing his hand again. 

“Sensei is busy because he’s such a great villain. He has to keep people working,after all.” Tomura said as he continued to work. “I’ve gotta keep studying so I can be an even better villain.” 

“Better..? Who said you have to be better than Master All For One?” (First Name) asked curiously,tilting her head to the side. 

“That doctor man said I’m just Sensei’s shadow,and that nobody will respect me unless I become even better than him.” Tomura said calmly,reading over his work.

“You don’t need to worry about being even better than Master All For One,’cause he’s training you,so you will be better than him. If Master All For One says you’re his successor,Mr.Ujiko can’t disobey.”  (First Name) told him,grinning at him cheekily. Tomura just looked over at her,before he began to laugh at the conviction in the girl’s eyes. 

“I guess you’re right,but I still need to work hard.” The boy said,(First Name) pouting a bit before she nodded. 

“I guess so.. But if you’re Master All For One’s shadow,I’m your shadow,’kay?” She said,Tomura nodding a little. 

“Of course.” The boy said softly,squeezing her hand and grinning. “So follow me forever.”

“Hey,Master,how did you meet Master All For One?” (First Name) asked after a year of being around Tomura. She had been curious for a long time,but she’d only worked up the courage to ask after they had begun talking about their lives before meeting All For One. 

“He came to me and held his hand out to me.. He was the only one willing to help me.” Tomura said,remembering the ‘sweet’ smile All For One had given him. He knew the man was sinister,but he owed everything to All For One. 

“If I had seen you,I would’ve helped you.” (First Name) said,gripping his hand as she leaned into his side. 

“I know you would have,because you’re a kind person as well.” Tomura said. “Even heroes walked past me and ignored me,but All For One stopped and told me that I wasn’t a monster.. I owe him everything,so I have to try and grow up quickly.” 

“I’ll be with you every step of the way,’kay? I’ll do what I can to support you.” (First Name) told him,grinning. Tomura just smiled back at her and nodded,knowing that the girl would never betray him. 

“Then just stay by my side forever.” Tomura told her. “You’ll do that,right?” 

“Of course,Master! I’ll be with you forever!” (First Name) told him,grinning cheekily. 

It once was so easy;

Breathe in, breathe out.

Taking a deep breath,Tomura stared down at his phone. He was twenty now. He was no longer a child,and (First Name) had yet to return to his side after months apart. 

“Tomura,what’s wrong?” Kurogiri asked,Tomura raising his head and looking up at the man. 

“(First Name)’s not answering her phone.” He said,looking back at the phone. “Bring her here,Kurogiri. It’s about time I introduce the others to her.” 

“Don’t you think it’s a bit too soon..? She was injured only a little while ago..” Kurogiri asked. He rarely questioned Tomura when it came to (First Name),but he was genuinely worried that the girl wouldn’t be able to keep up with the League right now. 

“She’ll be fine,so bring her here.” Tomura ordered,Kurogiri sighing and nodding as he did as told. 

“Who are you talking about,Tomura?” Mr.Compress asked,staring at his ‘boss’ curiously. 

“You’ll see her soon enough. She’s probably still a little injured,so play nicely,got it?” Tomura ordered,the other members of the League staring at him. Kurogiri soon appeared with the girl,who was fast asleep. Tomura reached out to shake her awake,Spinner reminding him that he would disintegrate her. They were all surprised to see the girl perfectly fine once Tomura touched her,Dabi even taking a bit of an interest in the girl. 

“Master..?” (First Name) asked tiredly as she woke up,yawning as she sat upright. 

“It’s time you return to work,don’t you think?” Tomura asked,the girl nodding a little as she stood and stretched. 

“Sorry for taking so long off,but my arm took longer than I thought it would to heal.” (First Name) said,looking around. “So these are your new comrades?” 

“Yes. You should already know all that you need to know about them,so play nicely.” Tomura ordered,(First Name) nodding calmly. 

“Ne,Tomura,what’s her Quirk? Is she strong or something?” Toga asked curiously,tilting her head to the side as she stared at (First Name) curiously. 

“(First Name),answer any questions they have. I’m going to go play a game.” Tomura ordered her,(First Name) nodding and curtsying as the man left. She turned to the League,staring at them all calmly. 

“Well,my Quirk is called Nullification,and it does exactly what it sounds like it should do. If someone touches me,they won’t be able to use their Quirk. If someone ingests my blood,they won’t be able to use their Quirk for roughly an hour. That’s about all there is to my Quirk. Any other questions?” (First Name) explained,Dabi letting out a ‘tch’ as he went back to ignoring everyone. 

“How do you know Tomura?” Spinner asked curiously. Seeing Tomura being ‘nice’ like that was strange to all of them. While Tomura allowed everyone to do as they wished so long as it wouldn’t cause trouble for him,the man seemed to be harsher on this girl. 

“I’m his attendant. Master All For One took me in and raised me alongside master Tomura so we would have a strong bond.” (First Name) explained,Toga’s eyes lighting up with excitement. 

“You’re like me,then..?! A maiden in love?!” Toga asked,grabbing her hands and grinning. 

“In love..? Ms.Toga,I think you’re misunderstanding my relationship with my master. Master Tomura and I are just ‘master’ and ‘servant’.” (First Name) explained,Toga shaking her head and giggling. 

“We have a new member..?! She’s so cute! No,she’s ugly!” Twice said,letting out a laugh before he frowned. 

“You guys are going to freak her out.” Mr.Compress chimed in,unable to just sit back when they were acting in such a manner. 

“It’s fine.” (First Name) told the man,pulling her hands away from Toga calmly as she stepped back. “It’s a pleasure to meet all of you. My name is (First Name) (Last Name). I’m master Tomura’s personal attendant,so I’ll be working closely with all of you from now on. Let’s get along well from now on,alright?” She asked,giving everyone a curtsy before raising her camera. “But I’ll warn all of you here and now.. If something ever happens to master Tomura,I’ll hunt all of you down and torture you personally,’kay?” 

“(First Name),I thought I told you to play nice?” Tomura called out from the other room. 

“Sorry,master,I just don’t quite trust them yet.” (First Name) said,looking like a puppy as she went to the boy. He just patted her head,the others watching in shock at how gentle Tomura seemed. Their ‘boss’ was supposed to be aloof and cold,so seeing him be affectionate unnerved all of them. 

“Be nice. They’re our comrades,and I’ve decided to trust all of them. They’re allowed to do as they please,so don’t interfere,alright?” Tomura told her,(First Name) nodding. 

“If that’s what you wish,master Tomura.” The girl said,Tomura nodding and grabbing her hand before he pulled her into the room and shut the door. The others all just stared at the door,Toga turning to look at Kurogiri after a few minutes. 

“Ne,that was Tomura,right?” She asked,Kurogiri nodding. “Why is he so calm touching her like that?” 

“It’s because they were raised together.” Kurogiri explained,sighing. “Tomura and (First Name) spent nearly fourteen years doing everything together,so naturally they’re close.” 

“Fourteen years?! Isn’t Tomura only twenty?! They’ve practically known each-other since birth!” Mr.Compress said,absolutely shocked. He was unable to keep his composure over the new information,just staring at Kurogiri in disbelief. 

“Since Tomura has such a destructive Quirk,(First Name)’s presence was the best way to give him a sense of ‘normalcy’,so All For One decided it was best for them to stay together. Naturally,they grew close. Even I'm not exactly sure how Tomura views her.” Kurogiri explained,knowing that it must be hard for the others to accept. 

“Then where has she been this whole time?” Spinner asked,Kurogiri sighing. 

“All For One sent her away because she got injured while she was out on a mission. Despite not having a combat-worthy Quirk,(First Name) is a good assassin. After All For One sent her out to kill a man who had decided to betray him,she nearly got killed. Tomura was in a panic over it,and he nearly destroyed our base because of it,and All For One sent her away so she could recuperate.” Kurogiri explained. He knew that All For One had only sent (First Name) away while she was healing to make Tomura’s hatred for people grow,though he couldn’t say such a thing aloud. “She’s been away since then because most healing Quirks don’t work on her,so she had to heal up naturally.” 

While Kurogiri and the League were busy speaking about (First Name) and Tomura,the duo was busy catching up on everything. Laying down side-by-side while holding hands,they just stared at each-other quietly. 

“Your hair has gotten longer..” Tomura pointed out,his voice soft as he stared at her. 

“So has yours,Tomura.” (First Name) said softly. She called him ‘master’ in front of everyone else,but when they were alone,she always called him by his name. 

“How are your injuries?” Tomura asked her,gripping her hand tightly in his own. 

“I’m fine.. I’m sorry for taking so long off and leaving you alone for so long..” (First Name) told him,smiling softly. Toga had been right when she’d assumed that (First Name) had feelings for Tomura,but (First Name) knew that she could never actually speak of those feelings. 

“Are you sure you’re okay..? You know that you don’t have to have any part in the League,right?” Tomura asked. The League was his first real achievement as All For One’s successor,but he wouldn’t force the girl into joining it. “You can just return to the hideout and do assassination missions for me,you know?” 

“I want to be here,you dummy..” (First Name) told him,giggling a bit. When she was around Tomura,she felt like she was still nothing more than a kid. 

“So you’ll stay here with me,even if you have to see me hurt people?” Tomura asked gently,rubbing his thumb on her cheek. He treasured (First Name) more than anything,and the idea of her becoming scared of him over his actions terrified him. He didn’t know what to call it,but he knew he never wanted to lose her. 

“I’ve already told you a thousand times,Tomura.. I’ll stay with you forever.” (First Name) told him,giving him a sweet smile. Tomura just wrapped his arms around her,hugging her tightly as he pulled her close. 

The two eventually fell asleep like that,Tomura holding her close all night. It had been forever since he had slept so well. Feeling her warmth and her heartbeat made Tomura unbelievably happy. 

But at the foot of this mountain,

I only see clouds.

“Good morning,Toga.” (First Name) greeted the girl early in the morning. Toga stared at her in shock,confused as to why the woman was cooking. Mr.Compress and Spinner were already sitting at the table,patiently waiting for the food to be finished.  

“Good morning.. What are you making?” Toga asked curiously,(First Name) grinning at her. 

“I’m making everyone breakfast.” (First Name) told her,Toga just raising an eyebrow. 

“Why..? Do you get something out of it?” Toga asked curiously. 

“Of course not. I just thought that it’d be nice if everyone could eat breakfast together.” (First Name) said. She had been living alone for months now,so she was desperate to get along with everyone. 

“Well thanks,I guess.” Toga said awkwardly,sitting down at the table. Twice was the next to come into the kitchen,lighting up when he saw that (First Name) was cooking. 

“Ooh,rice! I love rice! I hate it!” Twice said,(First Name) laughing a bit at that. Despite being raised with Tomura,she had a kinder personality to those she considered comrades. Despite not trusting them at all,she knew she had to get along with them,so this was her first attempt. 

“Just go sit down. I’ll serve you guys once it’s finished,’kay?” (First Name) asked,Twice nodding and then shaking his head wildly before he went to sit down. He began to talk to Toga happily,rambling about all sorts of things. Dabi soon came in,sighing when he saw the girl cooking. 

“Good morning,Dabi.” (First Name) said,giving him a curt nod. The boy just grabbed a banana and walked off,not planning on eating anything that the woman cooked. 

“Dabi,come on! She’s being nice!” Toga whined,grinning at him. The boy just flicked her off as he walked off,(First Name) grinning a little. 

She soon served everyone at the table and took Tomura’s food to him,the girl heading off to Dabi’s room next. She knocked on the door and then pushed it open,not caring about the glare the boy gave her. “I know that a banana isn’t enough to fill anyone up,so I thought you might like some food.” She told him,setting his plate down. “I’ll leave it here,alright? I’ll come back for the plate later.” She added,grinning. The boy just glared,(First Name) backing out and shutting the door behind her. 

“Where’d you go,(First Name)?” Toga asked her energetically when the woman returned to the kitchen,(First Name) patting her head calmly. 

“I went to go and give Dabi his food as well.” (First Name) told her as she grabbed her own food. “I’m going to go and eat with master Tomura.” 

“See you soon!” Toga said happily,grinning and waving at her as (First Name) walked off. 

Every single morning was the same for a month straight until Dabi finally spoke to (First Name) for the first time,the boy growling out a ‘thank you’ one morning. He wasn’t interested in ‘connecting’ to the other members of the League,but he decided saying a simple ‘thanks’ wasn’t a big deal. The boy was thrown off when he saw how brightly the woman smiled at him,his eyes widening just a little as he stared at the ‘sparkling’ woman. She reminded him of the sun,a thought he quickly pushed out of his mind. 

I feel out of focus,

Or at least indisposed

Tomura was in shock as he watched (First Name) capture the heart’s of his comrades. She made it seem so easy,but he didn’t expect anything less from the woman who had captured his own heart. 

Twice was the easiest,mainly since the boy was so eager for friends. (First Name) and Twice spent hours on end talking about all sorts of stupid things,laughing as they did so. (First Name) even helped Twice with taking the measurements of the rest of the League. 

Toga was the second easiest,mainly since the girl was so happy to have another girl around. (First Name) and Toga spent most of their time together talking about what they would do once the League finished off the heroes,bonding over their shared desire for an easier life. (First Name) even helped Toga with her hair whenever it was being particularly troublesome. 

Mr.Compress was the third easiest,mainly since the man was so much like a parent. (First Name) and Mr.Compress spent most of their time together watching over the younger members in the League happily,Compress just happy to have such a pleasant person around. (First Name) even helped Compress with learning a few tricks he had been struggling with,which made the man really happy. 

Spinner was the fourth easiest,mainly since the man was so stand-offish until she found his weakness to being complimented. (First Name) and Spinner spent most of their time together discussing which heroes they wanted to take out first,the girl practically smothering Spinner with compliments. (First Name) even helped Spinner with cleaning his weapons,making the boy think she was someone Stain would have liked. 

Magne was the fifth easiest,mainly since the woman was so wary of (First Name). (First Name) and Magne spent most of their time together bonding over different strategy games,in which Magne surprisingly excelled. (First Name) even helped Magne choose clothes that would look good on her,making Magne really happy that the girl was someone so eager to help her. 

Dabi was the sixth easiest,mainly since the boy wanted nothing to do with her. (First Name) and Dabi spent most of their time together in peaceful silence,both of them taking comfort in the fact that the other wasn’t rambling or shouting about anything like the others. (First Name) even helped Dabi stay alive,making sure the boy was eating. She cooked for him all the time,and he would even occasionally thank her for it. 

Tomura hadn’t expected (First Name) to get along so well with the other members of the League,and it definitely made him happy to see. She had captured his heart years ago,but the woman still dazzled him with everything she did. With her by his side,it was hard for Tomura to focus on actually being a villain. 

As this strange weather pattern

Inside me takes hold.

Tomura hadn’t expected the anger (First Name) showed in reaction to Magne’s death,and he certainly hadn’t expected to see her cry over it. While the others seemed distressed,(First Name) seemed completely heartbroken. 

“(First Name),calm down.” Tomura ordered,patting her head as he tried to soothe her. He wasn’t used to comforting the girl,mainly because she had rarely ever cried in front of him before that day. 

“He fucking killed her! I’ll kill him!” (First Name) shouted,wiping at her eyes desperately as she let out a sniffle. Toga began to cry as well,latching onto (First Name) and burying her face in the girl’s shirt as she wailed. Twice was just apologizing repeatedly as he cried,Tomura knowing he couldn’t say anything that would make them all feel better. Unable to stand watching everyone freaking out about it,he walked off,muttering about how he would demand reparations from Chisaki. 

Each brave step forward,

I take three steps behind.

Tomura felt like he was losing himself. Since his Sensei was no longer there to clean up after him when he made mistakes,Tomura was struggling to come up with a good plan. After seeing the strong bond the League now shared,he sent Toga and Twice to be temporary yakuza,telling them he trusted them to do what they thought was best. (First Name) was upset that she wasn’t going to be one of the temporary yakuza,but she didn’t speak out about it much. 

After Overhaul was captured by the heroes,Tomura was eager to get his revenge on the man. He allowed (First Name) to come with,though he would rather she stay at their base. 

“I have plans for you worse than death.” Tomura told Overhaul as he stared down at the man. Dabi and Compress had already killed the hero that had been assisting in transporting the male,but Tomura knew they still needed to hurry because more police and pro heroes would arrive soon. He took the bullets from him and laughed as he glared down at the restrained man,(First Name) staring at Overhaul with a blank expression. She’d usually feel a little sorry for people who were so desperate to live,but after what Overhaul had done to Magne and apparently to a little girl,she couldn’t bring herself to feel anything for the man. While the League had moved a step forward,she felt like she had taken three steps back. 

It's mind over matter -

Matter over mind.

Tomura nearly lost his mind when (First Name) disappeared while she was out on a mission. The girl had been kidnapped by a group known as the ‘Meta Liberation Army’,along with Giran. They all knew immediately that they had to go rescue her,leaving the sleeping Gigantomachia behind as they headed to the city they were told to go to. 

“We just have to kill everyone in there,right?” Toga asked Tomura when they made it to the outskirts of the city,Tomura nodding with a dark smirk. 

“Let’s get going.” He ordered as they were led inside. He had matured a lot as he’d grown older,but he couldn’t keep himself calm when he knew (First Name) was probably in pain. 

While the League took on the entirety of the city’s populace,(First Name) was being hit around once again,Giran trying to warn Re-Destro against it. 

“Shigaraki will kill you if you hurt her too much! If you stop now,you might have a chance at survival!” Giran told him,Re-Destro just laughing as he cut the woman’s arm. She didn’t react much besides a little flinch,which only served to piss him off further. 

When the building was destroyed soon after that,it was one of Twice’s clones that saved (First Name),taking her to Twice immediately so the man could treat her wounds. She was covered in cuts and bruises,but the girl had completely dissociated in order to keep herself from feeling the pain. She didn’t react as Twice put pressure on the wounds,not even flinching as he treated her. 

Tomura spent that night by her bed,only allowing Re-Destro to live in order to use him as a pawn. He wanted to kill the man more than anything after seeing how injured (First Name) had been,but he held himself back. 

Slowly, then all at once.

Tomura didn’t say it until it was already too late,but he admitted that he was utterly in love with (First Name). The realization had happened slowly,then all at once. It hit him hard,broke him apart with ease. 

“Tomura,Tomura! You have to do something!” Toga screamed as she shook the man’s shoulder. He had completely frozen up after (First Name) had been carried into their new base injured,though he started to snap out of it when he saw the blood staining Compress’s suit. 

“Wha… What happened?” Tomura asked,feeling completely numb inside. Toga was begging for him to do something to help (First Name),Twice trying to keep himself from splitting apart again. Spinner and Dabi both watched as their ‘boss’ began to come to his senses,the two completely silent. 

“She.. She was attacked or something,I don’t know what it was or why,but she’s.. She’s not gonna make it with these kinds of injuries,Tomura!” Compress shouted,shaking as he held the girl tightly. She was gasping for air as she laid in the man’s arms,tears rolling down her face from the pain that was spreading through her from her chest. 

“Toga,go get those bullets we got from Chisaki.” Tomura ordered,finally snapping to his senses. “Twice,go get that kid with the healing Quirk. Hurry. If we erase her Quirk and get him to heal her,she might just make it. Compress,lay her down in my bed for now.” He added,everyone rushing off to do as he ordered. Tomura stayed close behind the man,his face completely blank despite the emotions filling him. 

“Tomura,if you do this,then.. Then you won’t be able to touch her normally anymore.. You know that,right?” Compress asked him after setting the girl down on the bed. 

“I know.” Tomura said,Toga soon returning with the bullets. Twice returned immediately after her with the boy,Tomura loading the bullet into a gun. 

“Don’t..! Don’t do it.. Please,Tomura..” (First Name) begged,tears rolling down her face. She was afraid of dying,but the idea of her becoming untouchable to Tomura terrified her even more. Tomura ignored her pleading and shot the bullet into her leg,shouting at the boy to begin healing her. Her whole body was shaking and spasming from the serum,the boy putting his hands over her chest. The second he was able to use his Quirk,he began to heal her,focusing on healing her more severe injuries first.  

“She’ll live,right?” Tomura asked the boy after a while,who was shaking and coughing from using his Quirk. 

“I’ll have to heal her more tomorrow.. If she can make it until then,she’ll be fine.” The kid said,absolutely terrified of Tomura. 

“What’s that supposed to mean?! Will she make it or not?!” Tomura shouted,the kid flinching back. 

“If she’s strong enough to make it through tonight,I can finish healing her tomorrow. I’ve used up almost all of my energy as it is,so the rest of her injuries have to wait until tomorrow.” The kid said,Tomura taking a few deep breaths as he tried to keep himself relatively stable. 

“Tomura,it’s probably best you go somewhere else,don’t you think?” Mr.Compress asked him quietly,Tomura freezing and turning to look at him with a dark glare. “I don’t mean anything bad by it,it’s just.. If you stay here right now,I think you might end up hurting her or someone else.” He told him,Tomura reluctantly leaving the room. 

A single loose thread

And it all comes undone.

Tomura wouldn’t let (First Name) disappear from his life,but the boy kept his distance from the room after he was told (First Name) was in a coma. They had turned his room into a makeshift hospital room,the girl hooked up to all sorts of machines as she laid there. He only glanced inside once,soaking in every detail of her face. She looked like a sleeping angel,but he was too afraid to approach her. She haunted everything he did. 

Mornings without (First Name) made Tomura feel empty. Waking up without her next to him always left him in a bit of a panic until he remembered everything that had happened. The boy would skip breakfast,not wanting to eat something (First Name) hadn’t cooked. After spending so long eating the food (First Name) cooked for him,he couldn’t bring himself to even look at the breakfast Rikiya tried to serve him. 

Afternoons without (First Name) made Tomura angry. Dealing with the idiotic ‘comrades’ he had gained after beating Rikiya stressed him out,and without (First Name) there to calm him down and handle some of the burden,Tomura was becoming progressively more fed up with everything. 

Nights without (First Name) made Tomura’s nightmares return. Used to feeling the girl’s presence by his side day and night,he found himself hardly able to sleep. When he finally did fall asleep at night,the boy had to be handcuffed to keep himself from decaying the bed in his sleep. 

Where there is light,

A shadow appears.

“Tomura,let’s go out today.” (First Name) had told him one day when they were just fifteen. Tomura stared at her,raising an eyebrow. 

“Go out where? Sensei won’t let us go anywhere,you dummy.” He said,the girl grinning. 

“I wanna go on a picnic.” She said,Tomura shaking his head. 

“Picnics are so cheesy. This isn’t some dating sim.” The boy said,(First Name) pouting and leaning towards him to give him the best puppy eyes she could. 

“Pretty please..?” She asked,the boy shaking his head. She started to beg and whine,the boy giving in after a while just to get her to shut up. 

“Fine! We can go on a picnic,but you have to set everything up!” Tomura snapped,the girl’s eyes sparkling as she nodded excitedly. She reminded him of the sun when she smiled like that,and it made the boy’s heart race a little. She was the light in his life,and he was her shadow. 

They had spent that day outside,laughing and eating sandwiches she had packed. Tomura had kissed her for the first time at sunset,the two grinning at each-other after they separated. 

The cause and effect

When life interferes.

Tomura had been left in shock when the news reached him that (First Name) had died,the boy just falling to his knees. He couldn’t think straight,only able to sit there. It was slowly sinking in,the boy letting out a loud shout when it finally hit him. The members of the League went to investigate the noise,shocked and confused when they saw him sobbing. 

“Tomura,what happened?” Toga asked,keeping her distance cautiously. She had never seen the boy so expressive before,and it scared her. 

“She.. (First Name).. Someone.. Someone went into her room and killed her.. She’s barely hurt anyone before.. She was just laying there.. She didn’t do anything wrong,so why..? Why?!” Tomura sobbed out once he was able to force his voice out. 

The same rule applies

To goodness and grief;

“(First Name)’s dead…?” Toga asked,staring at him in shock. The fact that her closest friend had died hit her like a ton of bricks,the girl falling to her knees as well. She knew Tomura was probably suffering from losing the woman he loved,but she was suffering from the loss of her friend. The girl just threw her head back and let out a loud sob,her whole body shaking as she completely broke down. She found herself wishing she had asked (First Name) to hang out with her more often,the girl just wanting to see her smile and hear her laugh as they talked about anything and everything they could think of one last time. 

For in our great sorrow

We learn what joy means.

“There’s no way..” Twice muttered,staring at Tomura. Seeing the pain his ‘boss’ was in,he could tell that it was true. Twice’s whole body shook as he forced his sobs back,the boy feeling like he was going to break completely. He had already lost so many people,and losing (First Name) nearly shattered the last bit of sanity he had left. He found himself wishing he had spent even more time making her laugh,wishing he could hear the noise again. 

I don't want to fight, I don't want to fight it.

Dabi was the one to suffer the second most from (First Name)’s death. While the others could talk to each-other about it,Dabi didn’t have a bond with them. (First Name) had been his only ‘friend’ in the League,and the boy found himself wishing he had spoken to her more. He found himself wishing he had thanked her more often,wishing he had been able to make her smile like the sun all over again. He didn’t show any sort of reaction besides a simple nod at the news of her death,though his heart felt like it had been crushed.

I don't want to fight, I don't want to fight it.

Mr.Compress just kneeled down,rubbing Toga’s back as he slipped his mask off to wipe at his own tears. “It’s okay.. Everything’s going to be okay.” He muttered softly. He truly cared about all of his comrades,but (First Name)’s mind reminded him of the sun. While she would lose to him often when they played games,she had always been able to give him a challenge. He found himself wishing that he could play another game against her,wanting to see what moves her brilliant mind would have created. 

I don't want to fight, I don't want to fight it.

Spinner stood in silence,a blank expression on his face as his brain slowly registered the fact that (First Name) was gone. He would no longer be able to see her smile when he did something that made her happy,and he would no longer be able to talk to her about Stain’s theories. He found himself wishing he had done more for her,and that he had done more to make her happy. 

But I will learn to fight, I will learn to fight,

'Til this pendulum finds equilibrium.

Spinner was the one that got angry. Clenching his fists,he started to shout at the others. “Are you all seriously going to break down like this..?” He asked,sniffling a little. “Someone killed her! They murdered her,so we need to figure out who it was!” 

“What are we supposed to do,kill everyone? There’s no way we can find out who it was!” Compress snapped back at the boy,losing his temper. Tomura was shaking and breathing heavily,trying to keep himself from screaming again. He couldn’t handle this. He had never thought he would lose (First Name),and he’d been confident that she would wake up from her coma soon,but now she was gone. 

“(First Name) never hurt anyone.. She never hurt anyone..” Toga sniffled,wiping at her eyes desperately. She knew the girl had killed people before,but she couldn’t think of her the same way she thought of herself. “She wasn’t a villain! She was a good person! She.. She was my hero!” She sniffled,her whole body shaking. 

“I should have kept a double in her room to watch over her..” Twice muttered,his whole body shaking as he tried to keep himself from splitting apart. 

“SHUT UP! JUST SHUT UP!” Tomura screamed,his voice cracking. The boy was pulling on his hair,wishing his Quirk would work on himself. He knew he needed to calm down before his Quirk went out of control,but he couldn’t imagine being calm right now. 

“Tomura,calm down before you destroy everything.” Compress snapped. Since Kurogiri had been captured,Compress was the ‘parent’ of the group now. Dabi just watched everyone in silence,knowing they were all in pain. He wished he could express himself the same way they could,but the boy couldn’t cry. 

“I’ll find who did it.” Was all the boy said,turning and leaving the room. He already suspected it to be Hawks,but he wouldn’t act on his suspicion until he had proof.  

Slowly, then all at once.

It started slowly,and then came crashing down all at once. He had crumbed hero society. He had killed the only remaining hope for the world when he killed Izuku Midoriya,but that meant nothing to him. 

Tomura was completely numb inside,completely hopeless. Without (First Name) by his side,he couldn’t bring himself to smile when All For One and Kurogiri returned to his side. He had decayed the entirety of Tartarus to release them,leaving only the prisoners inside alive,but he didn’t even feel happy about it. 

“How did things go,Tomura?” All For One asked the boy,grinning evilly. 

“I’m the ruler of the underworld now. I bring more destruction than you ever could have dreamed of.” Tomura told him,feeling like a robot. “But it doesn’t matter.. (First Name) died,Sensei..” 

“Did you take your revenge?” All For One asked,Tomura nodding. Dabi had scorched Hawks’s wings as revenge,and the hero wasn’t able to survive because of the extent of the damage. “Then you did good,Tomura.” The man praised,patting Tomura’s head. 

“I didn’t protect her well enough.. So I destroyed everything..” Tomura muttered. “Hey,you can let me see her again,right?” 

“If I find the correct Quirk,of course I can.” All For One told him,Tomura nodding. 

The dark clouds depart,

And the damage is done.

Tomura could never go back in time and take back all of the pain he had caused people,but the boy didn’t care anymore. If he wasn’t allowed to see the light,nobody else should see it either. 

So pardon the dust

While this all settles in.

Tomura could never go back in time and save (First Name),could never go back and change their future,but the boy couldn’t accept that. If he couldn’t see her again using someone’s Quirk,he’d let someone kill him. 

With a broken heart,

Transformation begins.

Tomura could never go back to being alive without (First Name) by his side,so when Katsuki Bakugo tried to explode him,the boy didn’t even fight back. If he could die and see her again,he would. 

And with a broken heart,Tomura Shigaraki met (First Name) once again,this time in death.
