Finally Found You

Gabriel giggled as Sam stood over him curling his blonde hair with a curling iron, turning his boyfriends hair into nice waves "I didn't know you'd be so good at this Samich." He said as he sat in front of the large bathroom mirror. It'd been his idea obviously but Sam was more than happy to help even though he didn't think he'd be good at it, but Gabriel was bored wanted something fun to do.

"You have to let me do you."

Sam chuckled at Gabriel's choice of words "I already have..multiple times in fact." Gabriel grinned though his face turned red at Sam's rather sexual response "Shuddup."

Sam gave a smile before answering again "Besides my hair is just naturally perfect." Gabriel looked up at him in the mirror, Sam's hair did have natural beauty "You're not wrong there."

Sam shook his head lightly in disbelief

"I still can't believe I let you trick me into doing this."

"I thought it'd be fun, and I wanted to distract you."

"From?"

"Studying."

Sam smiled, it had been getting stressful again and he didn't hide the fact very well but it wasn't just school that was on his mind, being pregnant was the hardest thing he'd ever had to keep a secret especially from Gabriel. "Thanks." He sighed setting the iron down and turning it off, "Okay, I'm done."

Gabriel smiled at the mirror "Damn, I think I'm falling in love with myself." Sam chuckled, pulling Gabriel up from the chair and into a sweet kiss wrapping his arms around Gabriel's back "Well I can definitely see why."

                                             -

"Is Cas coming over today?"

Sam shook his head, Castiel had opted out of waking up early and doing anything dubbing it a 'lazy day' "No he's sleeping in." Sam answered looking up curious to who was at the door as well, they'd just been sitting on the couch binging episodes of How To Get Away With Murder for the past three hours and besides Castiel would've at least called first.

He watched as Gabriel flung it open to see a woman no older than thirty stood with a small boy about four years old -Sam guessed- in her arms.

Gabriel frowned at her "Can I help you?" He looked the woman up and down and Gabriel swore he knew her from somewhere, she had short wavy dark brown hair that could easily be mistaken for black and green eyes and the boy in her arms reminded him of what he used to look like at that age. But he definitely did know her "..Hey I know you..I met you." It was a while ago when he'd been grocery shopping with Sam and Castiel and left them to go get the pasta they'd forgotten.

He'd chatted with a woman for a good five minutes joking and laughing. She looked familiar then (he'd brushed it off at the time) but it was even stronger now.

The woman blinked at him, looking almost speechless, like she'd seen a ghost, and Gabriel felt the same way when he looked at her, he felt a sudden familiarity with her. But the picture he had in his head was her but looking over fifteen years younger "Hael?" He hadn't known why he blurted out the name, but somehow he knew it was hers.

The woman smiled at him, surprised that he even knew who she was "Hi, Gabriel." She said timidly, "..You..you look good."

"..Wh..how...why?-what are you doing here?" He stumbled over his words and Hael shifted on her feet "Can I come in?"

He nodded hesitantly and opened the door wider for her, "Gabe?" Sam said, now standing from the couch "What's going on?"

"Sam could you give us a moment?"

Sam nodded, trusting Gabriel's word he left the two alone, "Who was that?" Hael asked as she watched Sam go. Gabriel gave a dismissive gesture "My..my boyfriend." He looked up at her trying to pointedly ignore the child in her arms for the moment telling himself that it was a kid she was babysitting or something like that "Are you going to explain?"

"Right, yes uh..I'm not stalking you I promise- I just..I saw you last week at the store- and I had to see you." She smiled sadly "My baby brother."

Gabriel's eyes started to get teary and he blinked the tears away "..Seventeen years Hael you never looked for me?-"

"I couldn't!- when I got back from camp, dad was gone- you were gone- I had no idea what to do, I was completely alone- I didn't know if you were safe, I didn't know if you were happy- or being cared for."

"I was..I got adopted by a great family, I have brothers and sisters, I got a good family, with the exception of bumps along the way." He sighed, finally letting himself smile "It's really freaking good to see you Hael."

She smiled back "Same." Gabriel frowned for a moment "How exactly did you find me?"

She blushed "After I saw you at the store.. I called in a favor from a friend."

"What friend has that kind of pull?"

Hael shrugged sheepishly "My wife has friends in high places, I got her to make some calls." Gabriel raised a brow at the mention of her wife, "Oh?, so you're married?"

Hael nodded "Eight years." Gabriel cleared his throat "Then..this must be your.." He gestured expressively but couldn't get out the words making his sister laugh.

"This is our son, Dickie." She smiled at the child in her arms "He's four." She looked back at Gabriel fondly "I named him after you, y'know?- I really never thought I get to see you again..especially not all grown up."

Gabriel gulped "So he's my nephew?- I have a..nephew?" He still couldn't believe that this was happening- it was so unbelievable he almost thought it was a dream. Hael smiled nervously "We're only here till the end of the week- and if you have the time I'd really like to get to know you better Gabriel." She asked and Gabriel could tell that the name still felt weird on her tongue.

"Yeah- yes, I'd like that." He said finally, "How about tomorrow?- I can bring one of my brothers along."

Hael's eyes lit up and she smiled jumping at the chance to meet someone from Gabriel's family "Great,"

They exchanged numbers and set a time for their meet tomorrow before she left, Gabriel was still very much shocked to his core- he really only remembered Hael as his geeky twelve year old sister who took care of him whenever their parents were neglecting them.

If it wasn't for Hael Gabriel would've been worse off, he leaned against the door deep in thought for about five minutes but managed to remember that Sam was still waiting upstairs and he raced to explain to Sam who their unexpected guest was.

Sam was sat cross-legged on the floor playing with Dickie in his lap, scratching the dog behind the ear, he looked up at the sound of the door "Oh- are you done?" Sam gently pushed Dickie off his lap to stand up "Who was that?"

Gabriel sighed "My sister." Sam gave a confused look "Gabe, you only have two sisters."

Gabriel shook his head "No, she's my biological sister- from before I was adopted." Sam furrowed his brows "What?-you had a biological sister this whole time and you never told anyone?" He kept his tone light and un-accusing just curious which Gabriel was thankful for.

"I'd completely forgotten, I was only four when my mom sent her off to bible camp after catching her with some girl and I was gone before she came back." Gabriel sat down on the bed "It's been seventeen years.."

"Are you gonna tell Cas?"

Gabriel nodded "We're having lunch tomorrow, I'm bringing Cas." He picked at his nails "..I..I have a nephew." He let a smile cross his face "He's four, he looks just like me."

"What's his name?"

"Richard.." Gabriel let a tear fall "She named him after me." He huffed "Fuck this is so much."

Sam silently stood and hooked Dickie's leash to his collar placing it in Gabriel's hand "Go for a walk, clear your head  you'll feel better."

Gabriel looked down at his dog who was patiently sat at his feet waging his tail, "And if I don't?"

Sam shrugged his shoulders and he said, "Then I'll be here- and so will icecream so I hope that'll make it better." Gabriel smiled up at Sam not able to stop himself "You are the best you know that?"

Sam gave him a quick kiss, "I love you too." So Gabriel went taking Dickie with him as he walked. He thought about a lot of things, one being if he now had to change his dogs name due to the fact he just found out that he was the uncle to a boy with the same name.

Twenty-one and a fucking uncle. He didn't know how to feel. Before adoption his biological parents weren't exactly perfect. His mother being a religious freak and his dad only staying because they had kids together.

He didn't remember Hael all too much, she was only twelve when he'd been taken away by C.P.S but she cared for him a good majority of the time. After the adoption all his old memories began to fade away and he didn't want to associated with Richard Milton anymore.

He had a new family one that was good to him- good for him, and they were extremely accepting, it may have started out with just him, Lucifer and Castiel but as their family began to grow more and more he found himself being happier than he'd ever felt before.

Save for all the bad things like being a diagnosed bipolar at fourteen and raped not long before. But now Hael wanted to be back in his life the biological sister he hadn't thought about once in seventeen years, but maybe it was time now that their toxic parents weren't around..maybe he could rebuild his relationship with Hael..just maybe.

                                            -

Sam groaned as his stomach rumbled again, he was hungry- okay fuck it he was starving. Being pregnant was a lot more work than he'd initially thought and he was seriously regretting holding back from telling Gabriel.

But alas it was what he wanted so he walked himself into the kitchen to make something to eat..something big and filling- very filling. He had some leftovers first but then his stomach rumbled again and this time he felt the need for pickles but they didn't have any pickles- he hated them and he didn't want his healthy food either like the fruit salads he'd bought or the vegetables.

"Sam?"

"Cas!- are you busy?"

"No..not really why? Is everything okay?"

"I am starving and in desperate need of a shit ton of junk food could you pick me up and go to the store with me?"

"Pregnancy cravings huh?"

"Yeah, and it's bad."

He heard Castiel chuckle over the phone "Sure I can come get you- but what about Gabriel? Won't he want to know why?"

"Gabe took Dickie for a walk but I'll just text him before you get here."

"Alright, I'm on my way."

"Hey Cas?"

"Yes?"

"Thank you."

"It's no problem Sam."

Fast forward not too long later and okay, maybe Sam was wrong about the whole craving thing because now sitting in Castiel's living room with a shit ton on snacks and random foods he just knew he wanted he couldn't get enough, so much so that Castiel couldn't help but stare.

"Sorry."

Castiel shook his head, when they'd gone out he'd gotten himself a fair share of snacks as well to join Sam in binging and we'll since Sam didn't eat like this often- or really ever it was a sight to behold "It's quite alright Sam, I'm just not used to you eating like Dean."

"Huh..I guess I am eating like him huh?" Sam swallowed, "I just..haven't been indulging- at all."

"Why not?"

"I dunno. I guess I couldn't?- I mean Gabriel would think that there was something seriously wrong if he saw me eating any of this."

Castiel went back to eating his hot cheetos, he'd been addicted since he was fifteen so the heat barley hit him but he still enjoyed then nonetheless "Well even though I keep reminding you Gabriel would understand if you'd just told him I'm happy happy keep an snacks you need here for as long as you need."

                                           -

Castiel drove Sam back to the apartment in the Impala about two hours later, Gabriel was already their of course having only been gone for about fourty five minutes but it was already dark, around seven pm.

Sam walked inside to find Gabriel his his nighttime attire, fuzzy socks, boxer shorts and a white t-shirt that swallowed him. He was laying on the couch knees pulled up, remote in one hand while his other palm held his head up as he watched TV Sam instantly recognised the movie he was watching as Se7en the accult classic staring Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman not mention the brilliant Gwyneth Paltrow.

Gabriel paused the tv, moving his legs to let Sam sit down before moving closer to lean on Sam's shoulder "Hey."

"Hey." Sam replied back "How was your walk?"

"Just what I needed." Gabriel answered giving Sam a real smile and then explaining how he'd come the conclusion that he wanted both Hael and Dickie in his life- even to meet his adopted family to which Sam was happy for him.

"What about you?"

"Just hung out with Cas for a while, we talked."

"Oh yeah?- about what?"

Sam turned to face him with a smile "About you- and school-"

"But mostly me though right?"

Sam chuckled pressing a kiss to Gabriel's lips, just a little longer.. he wanted to keep this up for just a little longer "Oh definitely."
