A sudden impact against his chest awakens Balthus. He opens his eyes to near total darkness and the sound of wistful breathing in his ear. There’s an arm across his neck, a groping hand on his chest, and a weight upon his legs. Thinking he’s been ambushed by another posse of debt collectors, he prepares to spring into action.
“You shall…tremble before the might…the might of House Nuvelle…”
Balthus blinks against the darkness before looking down at his legs. He can make out the faint outline of a body there, tits up, and the incessant murmurs coming from the mouth that owns the tits.
“House Nuvelle is… Devote yourself to…restoring its glory…”
So not in any immediate danger. Perhaps when Constance awakes, maybe, given the drunken shenanigans they got up to that he’s beginning to recall. Speaking of which…
Turning his head, Balthus’s cheek is greeted by the touch of lips so soft, plump, and feminine that they can belong to none other than Yuri. His movement causes Yuri to stir but not come to. The arm across Balthus’s neck curls around his head as Yuri more affectionately snuggles into him. Only in his sleep would the trickster display such soft love to him.
It’s a bit harder to turn his head now with Yuri right against it, but Balthus manages. In doing so, he locks eyes with Hapi who stares back at him with the same vacant and wide-eyed expression he wears. Similar to him as well, Hapi’s legs are pinned down by Constance’s lower body, her head is cradled by Yuri’s arm, and her breast is held softly in the grasp of Balthus’s hand.
He squeezes her, and she squeezes back. He turns away and so does she. He sighs for her, and she snorts softly through her nose for him. Nothing to be alarmed of, they both close their eyes and drift off back to sleep.
This sleeping arrangement, although unconventional, provides them all with the best sleep they’ve gotten in years. Going their separate ways just doesn’t seem feasible.
