Thion 3XQ: Journey [ON HOLD]

The minute they arrived in space, Jihyo called them in for a meeting. She was supposed to give them their suits beforehand, but Sujin had just finished making them right before they left. 

She had them lined up and gave each of them a wire choker. “I had Sujin working on these for a while and now’s the perfect time to test them out” 

“So we’re basically guinea pigs?” Momo asked. 

“Well if you want to look at it that way then sure” 

“What are these anyway?” 

“They’re called Zensuits and basically it’s a skin suit that’s supposed to protect you. Its material is supposed to be laser proof and fire resistant. It is also supposed to be difficult to penetrate through” Jihyo explained. 

“Sounds like a condom” Jeongyeon mumbled with a giggle, causing Nayeon to jab her on the shoulder. 

Jihyo glared at the two and cleared her throat. “Now, I’ll give you a demonstration” 

She put the choker around her neck. “There are two small buttons on these and with the simple touch of a finger..” she touched the right side of the choker and immediately a skin tight black suit covered her whole body under her clothes. It covered all the way from the tip of her finger to all the way up to her neck. They all gasped in amazement. 

“Now if I touch here..” she said as she touched the left side, and a tinted black space helmet appeared around her head. 

“That’s so cool!” Nayeon exclaimed.

She touched the left side once again, and her helmet was extracted. “Now test them out” 

They all did as told. They put the wire around their necks and pressed the button. In a second, their bodies were covered with the skin suit. Each of their suits and helmets had small linings that were different colors. 

Tzuyu was blue, Sana was purple, Jihyo was apricot, Chaeyoung was red, Nayeon was baby blue, Jeongyeon was green, Momo was pink, Elkie was white and Lisa was brown. These colors were assigned to them so they could differentiate each other with their helmets on. 

Along with their suits, they were given special boots beforehand. They were given rocket boots and jackets. Tzuyu, Lisa and Chaeyoung already owned their own sets of boots and jackets. 

“Whenever we're out there, I need you all to wear these suits under your clothes at all times okay?” Jihyo ordered. 

“Aye” Tzuyu, Lisa and Chaeyoung saluted. The rest awkwardly followed and nodded. 

“Now, keep them on. We’re going to be arriving Greon 7PC4 soon” 

They had all agreed that they would check planet Greon 7PC4 first since the journal had mentioned that the second relic was in the  lost and found. Greon was a small planet, it was also known as the planet of the lost and found as well as the black market planet. Hordes of aliens all over the galaxy would stop on this planet to do their dirty deeds or to get information about something. 

It’s no surprise how dangerous Greon is, but what more could you expect? It’s filled with crooks, thieves, murders etc. Anything you need? Someone in Greon probably has it. Elkie’s the one who suggested they check on this planet first and although Jihyo was hesitant about it, she ultimately decided that it was the best place to look. It was closest in orbit to Zanerth so they’d check there first. None of them had ever been to Greon but apparently Elkie had, and Jihyo who had been there in a few missions. 

It would take them about 30 minutes to arrive, so Jihyo ordered them to start preparing. There were a total of 4 rooms on board. Jihyo got the Captain’s quarter while the other eight had to bunk with each other in the other three rooms. 

Tzuyu wanted to stay in a room with Sana but the rest were against it because they didn’t want to be third wheeling in the room or walk in on them doingsomething in the room. So instead they had Jihyo pick the rooms for them. Chaeyoung was praying that she wouldn’t end up with Sana or Tzuyu. She instead got to room with Elkie and Lisa.

Tzuyu, Momo and Jeongyeon were in the next room and Sana and Nayeon shared the last room. The ship wasn’t too small or too big, it was just enough for them all. 

Tzuyu had been preparing herself by gathering her weapons and putting them in her jacket. She strapped herself with them and when she was satisfied, she decided to go and help Sana with hers. Walking towards her room she noticed Sana had been staring out of the large window. 

She snuck up behind her and wrapped her arms around her girlfriend’s waist, and gave her a kiss on the cheek. “Hey baby” She heard Sana sigh and rested her chin on her shoulder. “You okay? Are you nervous?” 

“I don’t know.. I’m a bit overwhelmed” she turned to look at Tzuyu. “I’m feeling scared.. and excited? I don’t know..the last time I was in space, our ship crashed” Sana was worried that she wouldn’t be able to handle it. She doesn’t know what’s waiting for them out there and she’s scared. But, she really wants to do this. She’s trained really hard for it so she’d have to suck up the nerves for now. 

Tzuyu frowned. “You know I didn’t want you to do this..” 

“But I insisted and I want to do this! I can do this! I’m just a little nervous that’s all.. I’ve never been to another planet besides Thion and Zanerth, you know. And I nearly died on Thion” 

Tzuyu held her arms and softly rubbed them. “I understand. It can be a little overwhelming but just stick to me. Okay? I just..” she had sudden flashes of team f9 and clenched her jaw. “I just need to see that you’re safe” she doesn't know what she’d do if Sana ever got hurt, or worse, if she let something bad happen to her. 

Sana gave her a small smile and nodded, Tzuyu gave her a small kiss on her forehead. She was leaning in to give her a kiss on the lips when she saw Chaeyoung passing by and she quickly leaned back and averted her gaze. Sana looked at her in confusion until she saw Chaeyoung pass by. She rolled her eyes at her girlfriend as Tzuyu looked at her sheepishly. 

Having your ex-girlfriend and current girlfriend in the same vicinity together is a nightmare. It was painfully awkward and Sana wanted nothing more than to avoid both of them. Well, Chaeyoung had already been doing that pretty well. She completely ignored Sana’s existence, not even sparing a glance at her. 

Sana wanted to get a chance to have a proper conversation with her but she wasn’t sure if doing it during the mission was the right time. She should probably wait when they’re back safe on Zanerth. 

With an annoyed look she walked towards her room with Tzuyu following behind. She sat on the bed as she watched Sana getting her weapons ready. “I’m sorry.. its just a little awkward with her on board” 

Sana scoffed. “Imagine how I feel?”

“I know. I know. I just didn’t expect her to come” 

“Are you glad she’s here?” 

“Would it be bad if I say that I am?” 

Sana turned around and walked closer to Tzuyu, she stood in between her legs and cupped her face. “Why would that be bad?” 

Tzuyu sighed and wrapped her arms around Sana’s waist. “I don’t know.. I thought you wouldn’t be happy about it” 

“I’m not exactly thrilled about this whole thing or having both of you here either, but it’s fine. I need to talk to her soon but when we’re back home” 

“Really?” 

Sana nodded. “I just want to clear the air with her, you know? I know how much you care about her and I want to see you happy too” 

Tzuyu smiled. “You’re so good to me. I don’t deserve you” 

“Yes you do” Sana gave her a quick kiss and moved back to put the weapons in her jacket. 

“You look great in those jeans by the way” They weren’t supposed to look like they were Zanerthean Agents, so they wore regular shirts, jeans and jackets. Sana looked over her shoulder to see Tzuyu staring at her ass. She shook her head and giggled. 

“You’ve got everything already?” 

“I think so” 

Tzuyu looked through the weapons and decided it was good enough, she then helped Sana to put on her jacket and then bent down to tighten the straps on Sana’s boots. 

She stood up and dusted Sana’s shoulders.“Alright, I think you’re good”  

“You’re so cute, Tzu” Sana wrapped her arms around Tzuyu's neck and gave her a kiss. Tzuyu was such a good and attentive girlfriend to her, she absolutely loved it when she’d get babied by her. 

Tzuyu got lost in the kiss and squeezed Sana’s ass, making the latter gasp softly. 

Tzuyu’s mind had been going crazy with different thoughts; she was nervous and worried. She felt as if she had a responsibility to keep all of them safe. She doesn’t know what will happen on this mission, and she’s never even been on Greon before either. Finding the relic and keeping the rest safe was her main priority and right now she needed something to ease her mind a little.. 

“We still have time for a quickie,” she whispered against Sana’s lips as she started unbuttoning the latter’s jeans.

“Oh no you don’t!” They both got startled by Nayeon’s voice. 

Nayeon stood by the door with her hands on her hips and a frown on her face. “This is why none of us wanted to stay in a room with the two of you” She huffed as she walked into the room to get the watch on her dresser. 

“Ah-we weren’t-“ 

“Save it, Chou” 

“But-“ Suddenly Tzuyu’s watch started beeping. It was a signal for her to go to Jihyo’s room. Tzuyu groaned and shut the signal off. 

“I gotta go. I’ll see you soon” She kissed Sana’s forehead and gave a sheepish smile to Nayeon on the way out. 

Sana, now buttoning her jeans, looked back at Nayeon who had a smug look on her face, she knew Nayeon wouldn’t let this go for now.

Upon arriving at Jihyo's door she saw Chaeyoung and Lisa making their way towards the door as well. Chaeyoung completely ignored and knocked on the door, Tzuyu awkwardly stood there by the door. 

Chaeyoung didn’t want anything to do with Tzuyu or Sana and she was avoiding them both. She knew how awkward or guilty both of them would get whenever they saw her, but she didn’t care. The only reason she came on this mission with them is because she knows Tzuyu is careless sometimes and she doesn’t want anything bad to happen to the others. Still, she doesn’t care that much. 

Jihyo had told them to come in, and Tzuyu was surprised to see Elkie already in there. 

“You called for us, Captain?” Lisa asked. 

“Yes. Elkie and I were talking about the plan. Since she and I more or less know Greon the best we should discuss some things” 

Tzuyu frowned. “Shouldn’t the others be here too?” 

“No. Since you three are Vesta Agents, I expect more from you. I know those girls have trained a little but they’re still new to this. I expect you three the most to be on high alert. Got it?” 

They all nodded and said “Yes, Captain” in unison. 

“Now with that being said, there’s some things I should warn you about Greon” Jihyo nodded to Elkie for her to continue where she left off. “Right so you’re all aware of how dangerous it is right?” 

They nodded. 

“Right so, it’s best to keep a low profile. You don’t want to stand out too much so it’s best if we split up and scout the area in small teams” Elkie said. The three looked at Jihyo for confirmation and she nodded. 

She continued, “Don’t seem too interested in buying anything or don’t seem too pushy in getting any information. If you’re desperate about finding anything there’s a possibility that they might kill you on the spot and take whatever you were looking for” 

“That makes no sense..” 

“I know but that’s just how it is” 

“How do you know this?” Chaeyoung asked. 

Elkie shrugged. “I’ve been around”’ 

“There’s one more thing you should know” Jihyo urged Elkie to continue. 

“Right. So, Greon has these puddles..” Elkie scratched her head. “I don’t know much about them but I’ve heard that anyone who falls into one of these puddles, they disappear like completely” 

“What do you mean?” Tzuyu questioned. 

“That’s the thing I’m not exactly sure how it works or what happens but once you fall in you can never get out” 

“Where do you go?”

“I don’t have all the answers, okay? That’s as much as I know so it's best if we avoid those puddles completely and stay closer to where the market is, there’s less puddles around there” Elkie explained. 

Tzuyu frowned. Despite the other girls only training for a few months they were still a part of the team and Tzuyu wanted Jihyo to treat them as such. She didn’t think it was right that the others weren’t here to be warned about these things. “What about the others? Shouldn’t they know about this too?”

Lisa crossed her arms.  “ Who cares? As long as we’re here, they’ll be fine” 

Tzuyu rolled her eyes. “And? They’re a part of the team too”

“Don’t worry, Chou. I’ll briefly go over it with them before we leave” Jihyo informed. 

“And besides, aren’t they archaeology majors? Shouldn’t they know some of this?” Elkie chimed in.

Tzuyu silently scoffed and shook her head. Are they serious? She was about to argue when the ships’ as AI informed them that they would be arriving Greon’s orbit in 5 minutes. That’s when Jihyo told them all to leave and to meet at the bridge. 

Tzuyu walked out of the room a little upset. They were being careless. Solely relying on the agents to keep them safe annoyed her a little. She indeed felt responsible to keep them safe but she didn’t like them being kept out in the dark like this. She had to remind herself that Jihyo would tell them before they left. 

She had a lot of worries. Even though they weren’t going to Thion 3XQ, this planet was still forgein to her and she didn’t want a repeat of what happened last time. Her nerves were getting the better of her and all she wanted right now was for Sana to be with her. 

“It’s not my fault, it’s not my fault” she whispered her mantra. It’s something she needed to do when she would start to panic. She rubbed her face and  walked straight to Sana’s room. 

Sana and Nayeon were walking out of the room, talking, when Tzuyu came and grabbed her by the wrist and pulled her back into the room leaving a startled Nayeon behind. 

“Tzu-“ Sana was interrupted by Tzuyu’s lips on hers. She intensely kissed her for a few seconds before she pulled away, leaning her forehead against Sana’s. Sana loosened her grip on Tzuyu's jacket and looked up at her, she noticed Tzuyu’s eyes were closed but her jaw was clenched. “Are you okay?” 

She nodded and leaned her head on Sana’s shoulder, she pulled her closer and wrapped her arms around her. “Stay close to me, please..” Tzuyu’s voice was so small, Sana was worried. Tzuyu would always feel a bit better with Sana around, Sana was her safe place. 

Sana cupped her cheek, “Tzuyu..” before they could continue talking as both their watches beeped. It was Jihyo signaling for them both to come to the bridge. 

“Chou, get your ass here. Now! And bring Minatozaki with you” They both heard Jihyo’s stern voice through the watch. Tzuyu sighed, she looked back at Sana and gave her a weak smile. 

“It’ll be fine” Sana tried to reassure her even though she was nervous herself. She knew Tzuyu had it worse. Her nightmares had only slightly gotten better but she would randomly get panic attacks, and it hurt Sana because she felt so helpless. 

“I love you” Tzuyu gave her a small kiss and led them both to the bridge where Jihyo stood glaring at them. She then, as said, explained briefly what they had gone over and the girls all nodded. They did in fact, have read about it before. Tzuyu thought she was being too paranoid for nothing, that they weren’t as soft as they seemed. 

“Put your suits on” Jihyo said as she pressed the button on her neck and they all did the same. The ship’s name was called LZ Nightingale and the ship's AI was called Vez. Jihyo instructed Vez to turn on the ship’s invisibility button to mask the ship’s presence. 

They were assigned to split up into two groups. Tzuyu was on Jihyo’s team along with Sana, Elkie and Momo. The other team was Lisa’s team which included Chaeyoung, Nayeon and Jeongyeon. They landed Greon in a more secluded area of the planet. Their ship was invisible but they didn’t want a random alien to accidentally bump into it and hack their way inside and steal the ship. 

As soon as they landed, Jihyo gave them one final pep talk and then they headed out. The two teams walked out and split up. 

Greon was as expected and Sana was afraid. There were people staring at them as they walked but she couldn’t stare at them back too long or they’d want to pick a fight. Elkie had reminded them to not be looking around at people too much. To be honest, Tzuyu was also a bit afraid and slightly intimidated by these people but she had to be strong because she’d do anything to protect them. 

Elkie was leading the way because apparently she knew this one guy who could maybe help them. People from all over the galaxy would go to him and ask him stuff and he would have answers for them all, despite the fact that they were sometimes true or false. She led them towards this small building. 

There was a Harpy man leaning against the door. That’s the first time Sana has seen a Harpy up so close. Harpies were aliens who had the bodies of humans but their heads resembled birds. This specific Harpy man had a long beak and wore an eyepatch.

“Oi, is Pung around?” Elkie asked. They were all surprised to see she was speaking in Villari and were even more surprised when he seemed to understand her. He shook his head and pointed down the street. 

Pung was the guy Elkie was looking for, he was a Zanerthean conman who migrated here to live on. He wasn’t the most feared person on Greon but one of the most respected. 

Elkie didn’t even bother to say thank you and walked away. Tzuyu had to whisper and remind Sana not to stare at the Harpy man. 

They walked a little further down. Tzuyu noticed there were puddles all around, that  was probably the puddles Elkie had earned them about. It looked like it was covered in a thick black oil. She was lost in thought until Jihyo’s watch started beeping. She tapped it and it was Chaeyoung who was calling. She stepped to the side in a secluded area and spoke into it. “What is it, Son?” 

“Captain, you need to come here quickly! It seems Lisa’s about to get herself into trouble. They’re squaring up to each other right now! I’ve tried to de-escalate the situation but you know how Lisa is” Chaeyoung explained. Apparently someone walked up to them claiming that Lisa was staring a little too much at them. Naturally, she became defensive. When in reality they just wanted to rob them. 

Jihyo shook her head and told Chaeyoung she'd be going right there soon. She checked her tracker to pinpoint their location. “You stay here and get any info. I’ll keep you guys updated” 

“Is everything okay, Captain?” 

“Yeah, Manoban’s just starting some shit. I’m heading over there right now” 

“Do you need backup?” Tzuyu asked worriedly. 

“It’s fine. Just stay here and take care of these two” Jihyo instructed, Tzuyu wanted to protest but instead she just nodded. Soon after, Jihyo had left. 

“I hope they’ll be okay..” Sana uttered. Tzuyu rubbed her arm softly and said, “they will be don’t worry” 

“Guys, come on” Elkie hurried them to keep walking. She could see Pung’s little shack down the street. When they got there, Pung was sitting on a stool with some accessories in front of him. 

“Yo, Pung” Elkie said with a wave. Pung was an old man who spent most of his life here. He was eating a fruit and spitting the seeds on the ground. 

“What can I help you with?” He said, not really looking at them. Elkie then began making random conversation with him and asking him about his items. Tzuyu had to mumble and asked where she was going with this conversation but she said to trust her, she had to ease him into the conversation first or else he’d get suspicious. Tzuyu was a little impatient but still intently listened to the conversation. 

Sana was looking around at the items, she was also looking at the surroundings. There was danger in every corner of this place so she took a closer step towards Tzuyu. 

She had looked to her left and saw someone very familiar. She squinted her eyes to get a better look and her eyes widened when she realized that it was the Thions they were running from back on planet Thion 3XQ. 

“Tzuyu” Sana whispered. But, she was busily listening to whatever Elkie was saying to Pung

Sana grabbed her arm. “Tzuyu!” She whispered a little louder, her eyes not leaving the Thions she saw. Tzuyu only mumbled trying to focus on Elkie. 

Sana pushed her a little to get her attention. “Tzuyu! We need to go” 

She finally turned to look at Sana with a frown. “Huh? Why? What’s wrong?” 

Sana quickly gestured to where Gork and his goons had been standing. Tzuyu squinted until she noticed the symbol they were wearing, then she finally saw Gork, the same Thions they had encountered back on the planet. Oh Fuck 

Elkie was in the middle of conversation when Tzuyu pulled both her and Sana away and quickly began walking in the opposite direction. “Tzuyu what the hell?” 

She ignored Elkie as she tapped her watch and spoke into it, “Captain, we need to get back to the ship” 

“What’s going on?” 

“The Thions that held us captive are here right now on Greon. We need to get back to the ship, now” Tzuyu explained. 

“Put your helmets on and avoid them at all costs” Jihyo said. Tzuyu frowned, she looked back to where the Thions were and they weren’t looking in their direction. They had hid behind a building nearby. Elkie and Sana were also right next to her listening in on her conversation with the captain. “I think it’s better if we get on the ship and wait for them to leave”  

“No. We don’t have time to just lounge around. Put your helmets on” 

“But Captain-“ 

“How many of them are there?” Jihyo asked. 

Tzuyu mentally groaned and looked back to where the Thions were. She had only counted four of them. “I’m only seeing around four them so far” 

“Alright well we outnumber them. Put your helmets on and stay out of their sights okay?” 

“Okay” Tzuyu mumbled and groaned when Jihyo hung up. This is bad, if they saw them it would be bad. Tzuyu told Elkie and Sana to put their helmets on and so they did. 

“What do we do now?” Elkie asked.

“Can you go back and talk to him?” They looked back at Pung who was busy in a conversation with someone else. 

“Can’t interrupt now so we just have to wait” Elkie said. Tzuyu huffed and leaned her body against the wall. 

Meanwhile, Jihyo had managed to prevent a fight but when one of them grabbed Nayeon by the arm, Lisa jumped in to push them away. That’s when they pulled out their guns and Jihyo told them to pull out theirs. She had Momo call for Tzuyu and the others to come for some back up. 

That’s when the girls rushed towards where the others were. The crowd was getting bigger now, they all wanted to see a fight and bloodbath. Not to mention others were eyeing up the team’s weapons. 

Noticing a crowd, Gork and his goons went to see what was happening. That’s when he noticed that those were Zanertheans, specifically the ones that had ran away (he saw Momo, Nayeon and Jeongyeon without their helmets on). He clenched his fists and told his goons who they were. If he captured them again, it would please both Chido and Klanta. It would be even better if he brought their heads to his master. 

Gork smirked and yelled “Whoever brings me their heads, I’ll give you whatever your heart desires” the people around them were up for the opportunity, now the amount of his goons tripled in size. Now, all of them wanted them dead. 

Fuck, fuck, fuck 

Tzuyu disabled her helmet and told Jihyo that they need to get out of here right now. Jihyo was aware of the situation but if they tried to run away right now they’d attack them. No one moved, the team had formed a circle and aimed the guns at the crowd. They were all afraid but tried not to show it. 

One of the goons finally came forward and almost shot at Momo’s head. That’s when the chaos ensued. They had to fight off a crowd who wanted to kill them. They managed to shoot most of them but then Jihyo told them to start running. 

They ran for a bit but the agents stopped and turned around to shoot at the incoming goons that were shooting at them. But the goons were coming from all sides. “Keep running!” Jihyo yelled to the other girls. She was currently running with them to get to the ship. While Tzuyu, Lisa and Chaeyoung stood behind trying to fight them off, they were backing them up. Tzuyu was fine with this, as long as Sana and the others were safe. 

Out of nowhere one of the Thions came barreling towards Elkie, she was caught off guard and he pushed her down. He was on top of her squeezing her by the throat. She struggled for a bit before she kicked him off. She quickly stood up and pointed her gun towards him. With shaky hands she tried to shoot him. Unfortunately there was a puddle near her and a nearby Thion accidentally bumped into her and she stumbled backwards, gripping onto the Thion next to her. She tried so hard to keep her balance but he fell in and pulled her with him. 

Jihyo was close by and she tried to grab Elkie’s hand but it was too late, the falling Thion had pulled her down, but not before Elkie tried to grab onto Jihyo’s ankle and pulled her down. “Elkie don’t! Let go!” Jihyo said but all that was seen was a hand sticking out from the puddle pulling Jihyo in with her. She lost her balance when she tried to dodge an incoming goon, she shot him down and then fell down deeper into the puddle, half of her body was submerged. 

“Captain!” Tzuyu yelled as she watched how Jihyo fell down into the puddle.

Lisa, who was closest to the two, was running towards the struggling Jihyo who was trying so hard to pull herself up but it was no use. She didn’t make it in time, they watched as Jihyo disappeared through the puddle. 

“Fuck!” Lisa shouted as she kicked a rock into the puddle. 

Tzuyu was shocked. Not only did she watch her friend fall in but also her Captain. She couldn’t even do anything because she was still preoccupied. Her hands were beginning to shake and her jaw was clenched. She didn’t have time to mourn over their loss, they had to get out of here, now! She didn’t want a repeat of last time, she’d do anything to keep the rest of them safe.

Sana was trying her best to dodge all these goons that were coming her way and shooting at her. She wasn’t the best shooter so there were some that she missed. She was distracted and didn’t realize when an incoming Thion crept up behind her with a gun.

Using his gun he shot Sana in the back, electrocuting her while she screamed. Tzuyu heard the scream and from a distance she could see what was happening. 

“Sana!” Tzuyu yelled, she shot the incoming goon and ran towards her girlfriend. She watched as the Thion picked up Sana’s limp and unconscious body by the neck and dragged her towards a puddle. 

Tzuyu ran so fast trying to avoid the other goons that were trying so hard to grab her or shoot at her. But all she could think about was Sana. No, no, no! 

He knew she was watching her and he smirked as he positioned her body, hovering her above the puddle. 

“Sana! No!” She shouted, she tried shooting him from where she was, but he was too far away for her to get a clear shot. 

Chaeyoung was busy fighting off the goons coming her way, she didn’t have time to react much to whatever was going on with Tzuyu or Sana. But, as she turned to her left she saw a Thion aiming his gun at Tzuyu and she quickly shot him down. 

It all happened so fast.. Tzuyu was nearing the puddle when he let go of Sana’s body and she fell into the puddle, disappearing beneath it. 

“NO!!” Tzuyu shouted as she saw Sana disappear in a second. She was closer now to get a clear shot, and he was too slow to electrocute her. She shot him down right in the head and didn’t hesitate to jump into the puddle. 

“Tzuyu! No!” She didn’t hear Chaeyoung shouting out 

at her when she dived head first into the puddle after Sana. Chaeyoung watched as Tzuyu disappeared in an instant. She didn’t have time to react when a Thion came barreling towards her and had to fight him off. 

The others around watched as they both fell into the puddle but there wasn’t much they could do now, since they were busy fighting off the rest of goons. Lisa shook her head, they really had to run away. She hated running away from fights but she had to suck up her pride or else they would lose more people. They really had to get back to the ship.

Tzuyu could feel she was falling but all she saw was darkness. She tried looking around to see anything or to see Sana, she looked down and there she was. Sana was also falling, she was still unconscious as Tzuyu tried to call out to her. 

Remembering her boots, she clicked her heel and it activated the rockets, she dived forward to catch Sana from free falling into the unknown. Wrapping her arms around her, she tried really hard to pull them both up towards where they came from but there was a strong force pulling them down. Not to mention, her boots weren’t built for the weight of two people. 

“Sana, wake up” she lightly slapped her cheeks when she felt Sana stirring. She struggled to keep them from falling. 

“Ugh..” Sana groaned. Slowly regaining consciousness. “Tzu..?”

“Sana, wake up! We’re falling” 

Sana slowly opened her eyes and immediately gasped when she saw darkness. “Oh my god” she jolted as she saw they were indeed falling, Tzuyu quickly tightened her grip around Sana. “Activate the rockets on your boots-hurry!” 

It took a few seconds to register what Tzuyu was saying when she finally clicked her heels and got her boots working. She was still not that used to flying, it was worse now when she felt something pulling her down. Tzuyu pulled her even closer and yelled, “We both need to try and fly up as best as we can okay?” 

Sana frantically nodded. She was panicking but glad Tzuyu was here with her. She’s not sure how they even got in this situation either because her mind is a bit fuzzy. 

“One! Two! Three Now! Fly up!” They managed to fly a bit up but it was no use. Whatever force was pulling them down was too strong. If the rockets on their boots were bigger and stronger they probably could make it back up. 

“Fuck” Tzuyu mumbled. 

“Wha-What do we do now Tzuyu it's not working what do we do?!” 

Tzuyu had to come up with something quick before their rockets ran out of fuel. She closed her eyes for a few seconds to think, she could feel Sana squirming a little in her arms. “Okay, we’ll fly down and when I tell you to click your heels you do so. Okay?” 

Sana widened her eyes. “Are you sure? We don't even know what’s down there!” 

“Well, we’re about to find out! Do you trust me, Sana?”

“But’ but-“

“Do you trust me?’ 

Sana looked at her and then looked down, all she saw was darkness. She looked back up into Tzuyu’s eyes and firmly said “Yes” 

Tzuyu leaned in and gave her a small kiss before she pressed the button on Sana’s neck and activated her helmet. She then pressed her own button and activated her helmet. Through her helmet she spoke to Sana and said, “Hold on to me tightly” 

“Okay”

“I may not know what’s down there but just know.. I love you so much, Sana” Tzuyu said as she tightened her grip on her. 

“Tzuyu..” 

“Come on. Remember when I say to click your heels you do so okay?” 

“Okay..” 

“Alright, lets go” Tzuyu positioned them both in a diving position and they flew down a bit. She then told Sana to deactivate her boots and to let them fall together in each other’s embrace. She hoped that there was an end to this bottomless pit and hoped that they weren’t falling to their death.

Sana closed her eyes when she felt they were free falling, she tightened her hold on her girlfriend, hoping that this wouldn’t be the end. And even if it was, she’s glad it would be with Tzuyu. 

Tzuyu struggled trying to keep them together because they were falling for who knows how long. Her arms were getting tired but she was pushing herself to keep holding on, she didn’t want to let go of Sana.

After what seemed like forever, Tzuyu could finally see a white ring below them. Her gut was telling her that they needed to go through that white ring so she positioned them a little so that they’d dive into it. “Sana, hold on tight” 

She put her hand out and pushed her legs in a diving motion to reach the white ring faster. Sana was closing her eyes throughout the whole ride, hoping that this would end soon and that they would be safe. She didn’t want to be falling down an endless pit forever. So when she felt Tzuyu shuffling around she opened her eyes and saw the circle ring they were going to fall into. She tightened her grip on Tzuyu and closed her eyes tightly.

Tzuyu kept her eyes open throughout the whole thing, she needed to see what they were getting themselves into. When they passed through the ring, they seemed to be falling from the sky down to the ground. Tzuyu could see they were passing through some clouds or what seemed like a thick layer of fog. She could almost see the ground or what she thought was the ground. 

They were falling at a rapid speed and in a couple of seconds they’d plummet into the ground so Tzuyu had an idea. “Sana get ready” 

“O-okay”

She counted the seconds exactly, they were inches away from crashing on the ground before Tzuyu finally shouted, “Now!” Both girls clicked their heels and their rockets turned on. Tzuyu pushed both upwards but the sudden impact made them both fall backwards and tumble onto the ground. They probably would’ve died if they didn’t have their boots on. 

Tzuyu groaned as she tried sitting up from where she had fallen. Her helmet and the boots definitely broke her fall. She finally opened her eyes and she was greeted by the grayish skies. She slightly turned her head and saw a decomposing head next to her. She slightly jolted away. What the fuck. She looked around her and noticed she had landed on a few bones and dead bodies next to her. There were also some more decomposed bodies nearby. Those were probably from the ones who’d fallen through the puddles and plummeted straight to the ground. 

She quickly sat up when she heard Sana’s whimpers. There Sana was clutching her ankle. “Sana..” she pulled herself up and slightly limped towards her girlfriend. Kneeling down beside her she grabbed Sana’s hands. “I’m here. What’s wrong?”

Sana groaned. “M-my ankle. It hurts..” 

“Does it feel broken?” Tzuyu asked as she took off Sana’s boots. They both still wore their skin suits on but even with that Tzuyu could determine if it was broken or not. 

“I don’t think so.” Sana winced as Tzuyu put a little pressure on it. 

“It’s probably just sprained.” Tzuyu untucked her shirt and tore off a piece of it from the bottom. She then wrapped it around Sana’s ankle to act as a compressor.“There, this will keep you up for now until we get back to the ship” She carefully put Sana’s boots back on and helped her up to stand. 

“Where are we exactly?” Sana finally looked around and noticed all the bones and dead bodies around. She was taken aback and jolted. “Oh my god where are we?” 

“I’m not sure but we need to find a way out”
