t had been a tough few years since the Quidditch World Cup when Regulus had turned up unexpectedly and James had accepted him back. Old habits were harder to break than Regulus had imagined. Now there was something dark in the shadows calling and threatening to unbalance everything Regulus had worked hard to achieve. This began as a one-shot because the characters refused to leave my head. Then it grew until the story was fully told.As a result chapter one is rather long.This story fits in before the epilogue of Thin White Duke, in the Great Magical Collision series, but can be read independently of the series.
