Two Birds with One Stone REJECTS
Summary
the original chapters to Two Birds With One Stone that i hated and rewrote

Saki jerks to the side, her feathers turning to steal and detaching while aiming at the intruder. She looks up to see big crimson wings. Following the wings Saki lands her eyes on the Pro hero from the file. What was his name, chicken man, falcon...HAWKS. Saki looks up at him to see his hands are up in mock surrender.

“Whoa there birdy, I didn't mean to scare you there,” He lowers himself on to the balcony. Saki brings her feathers back to herself while unstealing them.

“How long were you there, why were you there,” Saki crosses her arms leaning back on the railing careful that she doesn't hurt her wings

“Just a few seconds. I haven’t met another winged hero so I thought I would come over chit chat,” Saki raises a brow, not remembering telling him she was a hero.

“I never said I was a hero, how did you know,” SHe turns to face him fully still keeping her arms crossed.

“Didn’t but seeing how you just reacted confirms my suspension, also most people with a quirk like yours would be one,” Saki gives a surprised hum as a response. “Also, not many people could afford an apartment like yours on a normal salary,” Saki clicks her tongue realising how obvious it can be.

“So what's a little birdy like you doing all the way in Japan,” Saki rolls her eyes at the name, looking at the city again. Hawks just leans one arm on the railing and lays his head on it.

“I don’t really know, I guess I just wanted something new,” Letting out a sigh Saki leans back on the railing again watching the cars go by.

“Something new must really be big in your mind seeing as you move half across the planet,” Hawks says letting out a light chuckle.

“I was tired of New York, all the hustle and bustle. Plus I have family here,” she ignores the golden-brown eyes that have never left her face.

“Oh, chickadee, I have an idea, let's play a game,” she finally glances at him. Raising her eyebrows.

“Seriously chickadee,” all Hawks dose is shrug his shoulders and Saki rolls her eyes. “Fine what’s this game,”

“The question game, I ask you a question, then you ask a question. We just go back in forth and tell we wanna stop.” Saki lets out a chuckle.

“Are you that desperate to get to know me,” He winks at her before answering.

“Who wouldn’t want to learn more about a beautiful dove,” She rolls her eyes again before letting out a sigh.

“Fine I’ll play your game, what’s your first question,” His eyes light up at this.

“Ok, first what’s your name?” Saki realizes they haven’t even introduced themselves yet.

“Marie You, what’s yours?”

“Hawks.”

“Real name.”

“One question at a time dove,” Hawks says, earning an eye roll. “What’s your age birdy.”

“Twenty-two, yours?”

“Twenty-three, what's your quirk?”

“Wings of steel, I can turn any of my feathers to a steal while being able to still control every single one. I can fly of course. But my feathers don’t grow back. Favorite food?”

“Easy chicken no competition, what’s your hero name kid?”

“First off only a year younger than you, second could never eat that stuff without being called a cannibal and third Violet Steel,”

“Violet Steel, I like it. Got a favorite sidekick,”

“Easy Jordi Mer or Thoth. My answer is probably biased seeing as she is my best friend,”

The sun was setting when Saki realised how long they had been talking. Just trading questions back and forth while getting sidetracked every now and then.

“Well birdboy I would love to keep talking but I’m expecting someone soon and gota say bye,” Saki stretches her wings out after not really moving them for a while.

“Wow dove you love talking with me,” earning yet another eyeroll.

“You know what I meant now get off my balcony,” Hawks smirks while walking over to her sliding door into her house, before he could grab the handle Saki grabs one of his feathers causing him to yelp.

“What, you said to get off your balcony,” Saki only gives him a blank look while pointing to the other side of the balcony.

“Ok, ok but one more question,” Saki crosses her arms and lets out a sigh.

“Fine what is it,” Saki sees a glint of mischief in his eyes.

“What's your number,” Saki can feel heat come to her face. A blush forming on it.

“Off hawks,” Hawks holds his hands up in mock surrender before going and jumping off her balcony.

“Worth a shot dovey,” is all he says before flying off into the distance. Leaving Saki to mutter a quite Fuck You Hawks, before walking into her aparment.
