Heros meet fairys

"Oh God, get me out of this death trap!" Natsu cried from his seat, trying not to vomit all over the train's floor.

Metaliona groans, also trying to hold back from throwing up. "Shit, how much longer till we make it to Crocus? We'll end up in Hell before we even get to the capital." She complained, holding onto her stomach, curling herself into a ball and focusing on trying to keep her breakfast in her stomach as her and Wendy's bags would be collateral if she emptied it.

"I don't think I can make it much longer." Wendy said, leaning on the window next to her, both legs tucked under her but still making sure that her feet didn't touch Metaliona. After Carla yelled at her to 'sit properly while in a skirt' She always made sure that the guild's rowdy habits didn't affect her too much...even if it was already too late in some areas.

"Geez it must be hard to be a dragon slayer," Romeo said, pitting three dragon slayers from his seat. He heard the rumors but he guessed it got worse then at the grand magic games.

"Powerful magic at the cost of trying not to puke on a moving vehicle, you gotta feel bad for them." Lucy said with a sigh.

Gray groaned before crossing his arms and looking up. " Yeah I mean it was pretty damn funny then it got annoying when Natsu puked on a good pair of boots."

"Please!" Roxy scoffed while taking a bite from her brownie from her spot next to Romeo. "you deserved it after laughing at them for about five minutes." they said with a small glare.

Gray growled, "Now listen cat!"

"I'm a damn Exceed!"

"All right, knock it off, all of you." Ezra scowled, crossing her arms.

"But we didn't do anything." Lucy and Happy stared quietly only to shrink away as Erza gave them both a dark glare. "What was that?" she said dangerously.

"N-Nothing." they both mumbled terrified.

Carla spoke as she shook her head. "You'd think that after a few years of being on the same team as her, they'd know when to stay silent."

"No kidding, even Romeo learned that early on and he's been on the team for a few months," Roxy started with a chuckle.

Romeo rubs the back of his head sheepishly. "Well I've seen how she gets sometimes, so even as a kid I knew that she wasn't someone that I wanna mess with. I remember one time that Dad REALLY messed up and Erza found out and well..." Romeo shivered remembering Ezra beating up his old man before dragging him off. "I had nightmares for weeks."

After team Nastu returned from their trip from the 100-year quest, Romeo had asked Natsu if he could train him, both in fire magic moves and combat tricks. Natsu, much to the horror of Maco, agreed and took the boy under his wing. Later on, he managed to convince his team to let Romeo go on missions with them and he became their newest member of the team.

'Though it certainly wasn't easy getting to this point, everyone thought I was over my head.' he thought to himself as he remembered his first training session.

*flashback*

"Remember to go easy on him Natsu, this is his first lesson." Metaliona reminded him from her spot in the field, leaning on a tree, A potions book tucked under her arm, Roxy sitting in the lowest branch on said tree. After finding out that Nastu was training Romeo she insisted that she would supervise the first couple of lessons. Not that she'd thought that Natsu would hurt the boy, but he had the habit of going...overboard. Not that she was much better but still, Dragon slayer's idea of training was...brutal to say the least. Metaliona knew that it helped that she and her fellow dragon slayers started to train when they were very young. So she was a little worried when Romeo, who was Wendy's age now. Still weird to say, she used to babysit him when he was a well baby!

"Don't worry about it Mells! Romeo's tougher than he looks, even if he wasn't you know I'll go easy on him." Natsu said happily, very sure of himself.

The pale blonde-haired woman rolled her eyes. "Right cause you know the word 'restraint' " she said sarcastically, she loved her brother she truly did but his antics cost them A pretty jewel in damages, on both missions and at home.

"HEY, WHAT'S THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN!?!?" The pink-haired dragon slayer said offended.

With that the brother and sister duo started to bicker, which wasn't rare as they did every day, said a quick fuck you then asked each other what they wanted for dinner that night. same old sibling stuff.

Romeo watched the dragon slayer siblings go back and forward a little nervous. He knew that training with Natsu wouldn't be easy. But despite what his old man and everyone else thought he knew exactly what he was getting into. He was tired, tired of being on the sidelines, tired of being left behind, tired of watching the people he admired most fight for not just their lives but everyone else's! He wanted to get stronger and fight too! It was his dream to fight beside and help his heroes! To he as strong as Natsu!

"Hey!"

Natsu and Metaliona froze, ceasing their bickering and looking at the determined-looking boy. Romeo would have laughed honestly, Natsu was trying to pull the back of her long hair while he was in a headlock. But now was not the time!

"I know it won't be easy! And I know that everyone thinks I'm over my head... but please trust that I know what I'm doing!" Romeo said determinedly.

Okay, now Meteliona felt bad. Despite her worries she knew that Romeo had the penitential to be very strong, she does believe in him, she didn't want it to seem like she doubted him. Natsu grinned up at her smugly. Metaliona scowled and dropped her headlock, making Natsu fall onto the ground loudly. "OW!"

"I think your stupid stubbornness rubbed off on him Natsu." the earth dragon slayer stood up straighter, crossing her arms and ignoring the indignant, "HEY!" coming from the two of them. "But I wasn't gonna stop you." She ruffles Romeo's dark hair. "But am I still gonna supervise your first couple lessons kay?" she grinned.

Romeo grinned back. "right!"

*flashback end*

It was incredibly intense training but it was worth it to Romeo when he started to go on missions with Team Natsu and started to contribute to his new team, getting stronger all the while.

"Anyway Erza." Lucy started, snapping Romeo out of his thoughts. "Why are we heading to the capital? you didn't explain much before telling-"

"cough cough yelling cough cough" Roxy faked coughed quietly.

For her own sake, Lucy ignored them. "-us to pack up and get ready to go to the capital. So what's going on?" she asked, tilting her head.

Ezra blinked confused. "Wait, I didn't tell any of you?"

Team Natsu shook their heads. (At least those who could lift their heads.)

"Not even a small bit?"

"Nope."

"Not even a little bit."

"Not really."

"Obviously not!"

"I was too scared to ask."

"not a word."

"Newwh."(Translation: Nah)

"Uuueruuuup" (translation: no sorry)

"Newuhuh" (Translation: nauh.)

"Oh..." Ezra blinked for a second, her cheeks slowly turning the same shade as her hair. " I didn't realize."

'She looks completely embarrassed.' Lucy thought, feeling a little bad for her friend.

'Serves her right for dragging us out so early in the morning not to mention without warning' Roxy thought.

"Er... Well!" she cleared her throat."The master spoke to me about a matter the prince- er The queen wanted our help." Erza quickly corrected herself, it was still strange to refer to the former princess as queen.

Gray raised an eyebrow. "Important Matter? What was so important that we had to run out of the guild for about thirty minutes after our last job? I mean we got there at seven and now after A three-day-long mission we're back on the train." he complained.

Metaliona held up a finger, she would have raised her hand but she was partly focusing on holding back the bile that was coming up her throat. "H-He's Got a point you know, we don't even know why the royal pain in the ass-"

Lucy Gasped."Don't call the queen that!" She looks around worried. "What if you get arrested for treason?!" she whispered and yelled at her friend.

The earth dragon slayer ignored her. She was still bitter about the whole eclipse gate instant, After all, Wendy almost got kidnapped, the Celestial Spirits got hurt, nearly got all of her friends killed, those that she considered family, and the biggest thing was that she had a hand in killing lucy, sure it was a future version of her but it still counted to her. So yeah, needless to say, fuck the queen.

"- ordered us to see her as soon as possible, without resting from our last job? you would have thought she would have at least given us a day or two." she grumbled, leaning her head on the window.

"I know it's annoying but we had no choice, I don't know all of the details but I do know that it had something to do with two dark guilds we dealt with in the past. Elsenwold and Death's head Caucus.

Natsu, Grey, Metaliona, Roxy, and Happy looked shocked while Carla, Wendy, and Romeo were confused.

"Seriously?! I thought they disbanded years ago! Didn't Elisenwold's master got caught three years and Death's Cactus head hasn't been on anyone's radar since its three top assassins were captured.'' Gray said, shocked.

"Yes but I heard he went to the council willingly but refused to say anything about his former guild, not out of loyalty but out of fear," Erza said grimly, arms crossed. Wendy raised her hand, shaking a bit.

"Um Erza, '' Wendy said softly. "who are Elisenwold and Death's Cactus heads? are they a cult-like avatar or a dark guild?"

"Huh? Oh that's right. You and Carla joined the guild later on." Lucy remembered. "And when the whole Star Tower thing started we didn't have much time to explain who Erigor was."

"Both were dark guilds that we had to deal with in the past. We'll tell you more details when we have more time." Roxy explained.

Romeo nodded and Wendy tried only to cover her mouth and swallow whatever was coming up her throat. Ice cream maybe?

"So we have to deal with a dark guild whose asses we kicked before. Easy." Gray smirked

"Getting cocky Gray?" Happy teased.

"Shut it cat!"

"Guys I hate to interrupt but can someone either get me a bucket or knock me out? I am not picky on whichever one it is." Metaliona groaned.

"Same!" Natsu agreed.

"Help me please!" Wendy begged.

"All right you three just relax."

Then Ezra promptly knocked them out.

*Time skip brought to you by three chibi snoozing dragon slayers with Natsu blowing a tiny snot bubble.*

"Finally! I thought we would never get out of there!" Natsu grinned as he stretched his arms. He was waiting with his sister and Wendy for the others in front of the chain station. As soon as they felt the train stop they woke up and got out like bats out of Hell, only stopping when Wendy reminded the other two that they had to wait for the others.

"No kidding! bleh! I wish your Troia spell still had an effect on us this month." Metaliona groaned as she ruffled Wendy's sapphire blue hair, taking advantage that it wasn't in its usual pigtails.

Wendy gave her a sheepish look. "Sorry I guessed I overused it for this month."

"Eh don't worry about it kid, sort of our fault too." Natsu shrugged.

"Yeah next time I'll be more careful to be more prepared to make more anti-motion sickness potion. Take some of the pressure off of you." The blonde said with a shrug.

"Still I feel bad for not being able to help." The sky dragon slayer said sheepishly.

Before Natsu or Metaliona could say anything a voice pipes up.

"Geez Wendy, still blaming yourself for stuff you can't help?"

"It seems like somethings will never change huh?" another voice piped up.

The three dragon slayers turned around; the two older ones looked confused while Wendy looked shocked. "Wait! It's you two?!"
