Sonin, a Skyrim Story
Summary
Sonin is a half Nord-half Breton mage who doesn't want to be Dragonborn. Who better to distract her from her destiny than a pair of sexy wolf twins?
Note
Sonin is a half Nord-half Breton woman. Her story goes out of the typical timeline of Skyrim. At the start of this series, Sonin already knows she’s the dragonborn and has been to High Hrothgar. She has not met the Blades and does not know that Alduin is behind the return of the dragons. Sonin is not happy being the dragonborn and does her best to keep her identity a secret. She has been taking many missions outside of the main quest to avoid her alleged destiny. Sonin is an accomplished mage out of the College of Winterhold. Her skill with swords is minuscule compared to that of her magic. She grew up in the college after left orphaned by bandits that attacked her family while they were traveling near Winterhold. She had spent her earliest years on the road as her parents were traders. She was around the age of eight when they were ambushed and only escaped because her Breton mother sacrificed herself to cast a spell strong enough to wipe out all the offenders. Now Sonin is around the age of 21 and has been traveling around Skyrim for nearly a year on her own. She is making it a point to visit all the main holds. Next on her list is Whiterun, where she will meet the Companions. Starved for a family bond and wanting an escape from the responsibilities as dragonborn, she finds herself entering their halls.

Freeing Kodlak

“Kodlak wanted to be cured!” Vilkas shouted at Aela, his journal in his hand.

“It was a gift, not a curse!” Aela countered.

“But it’s what he wished, so we will cure him,” Sonin interjected to two surprised looking shield siblings, “I will go find these witches and bring their heads. All of them. Anyone else that wants a cure will get it too.”

“You...you want us to be cured?” Farkas questioned.

“Only if you want it. There are only so many sisters afterall,” Sonin replied.

“The old man is right, I want to be cured,” Vilkas stated.

“Fine. Farkas?” Sonin asked.

“Aye. I’ll follow my brother,” he replied.

“Aela?” Sonin knew the answer but asked anyway.

“No,” she seethed.

“Athis?” Sonin turned to the quiet elf.

“I’m unsure,” he answered, “I haven’t been a werewolf long.”

“Fair enough. Vilkas, Farkas, Aela,” Sonin started, “I want you here preparing everyone for the march on Ysgramor's Tomb. Eorlund will be done with the axe by the time I get back.” They nodded in agreement, “Athis, come with me please.”

“You want me?” He questioned to an alarmed looking Farkas.

“I’ll need someone to watch my back in case those witches magic outdoes mine. You’re faster than anyone else here, so you’ll be able to jump in quickest if things so sour,” Sonin explained.

“Aye,” Athis crossed an arm over his chest, “It’d be my honor.”

“Oh I wouldn’t say all that,” Sonin waved him off, “Let’s head out now.”

Vilkas grabbed her arm before she made it out the door of Kodlak’s room, “Sonin.”

“Yes?” Sonin replied sharply.

“I’m sorry,” he looked as apologetic as he sounded.

“It’s okay Vilkas, we were all grieving,” Sonin replied.

“No, I mean-for everything,” he corrected himself.

“Oh,” Sonin looked him up and down, “We can talk more once this is over, Vil.”

“Aye,” he let her go.

…

The road to the Coven would take a few days on foot for Sonin and Athis. To shorten the way, they both rented horses from the stablemaster in Whiterun. The snow came down hard and chilled Sonin to the bone. The two decided best to make camp before dealing with the witches and their unknown powers.

“Cold?” Athis questioned a shivering Sonin by the fire. He was never cold now that he took the beast’s blood.

“Very,” she shivered harder, “I hate the snow when I’m outside in it. You should be freezing since you’re half naked, by the way.”

“Wolf’s blood,” he replied, “Keeps me boiling.”

“I can’t imagine,” Sonin sighed as he moved closer and wrapped an arm around her, “Sounds amazing to me. I think I’m going to move to Elsweyr when all this dragon business is over.”

“So it’s true then?” Athis questioned, “You are dragonborn?”

“Aye,” Sonin curled in closer to his unnaturally warm body, “Gods, I could crawl into your skin.”

“Please don’t,” he laughed.

“Maybe I should have taken the blood. Would have saved me so much cold,” Sonin joked.

“All you have to do is ask nicely to have a bit of werewolf in you,” Athis grinned like a fox.

“Are you propositioning me, Athis?” Sonin looked at his face.

“What?” He looked away, “It’s not like we haven’t before.”

“Fair. A little wooing would help though,” she pushed him lightly on the shoulder.

“Wooing, aye?” Athis turned into her and pressed her against the cold ground.

“Hey!” Sonin shouted, “Cold!”

“Well, looks like you need me now. How’s that for wooing?” Athis replied huskily.

“You bastard,” Sonin grabbed a handful of snow and threw it on him with a giggle.

Athis snarled, his teeth elongated but his face playful, “Teasing me then? Don’t you know I’m a big, bad wolf now?”

“Don’t you know I’ve all but tamed two ‘big, bad wolves’ by now?” She replied with a smile, standing and brushing the snow off of her.

“Think you could do the same with me?” Athis took a predatory step forward, “Reduce me down to a lapdog? Marking you and wishing you would return the favor?”

“You know about that?” Sonin questioned.

“Aye,” Athis shrugged, “I know little about it. Don’t worry, I’m only looking for a round two from all that time ago. Since taking the blood it’s all I’ve been able to think about. All my senses have...heightened. Barmaids and wenches just aren’t enough now.”

“Hm,” Sonin put a finger to her chin, “Even after a funeral you’re still horny?”

Athis frowned for a moment, “Kodlak was a great man, no doubt he wanted a tumble with you too after seeing what the twins reduced themselves to for you. He would want us to be happy and have fun even after his death.”

“Wait,” Sonin couldn’t believe it, “Kodlak wanted to-to...with me?”

“Oh sure,” Athis laughed, “Old man was still a dog.”

“Huh,” she shrugged at that, “I could only imagine how Vilkas would have felt if he knew-wait. Why are you smiling?”

“Ohhhh he knew sister,” Athis chuckled at Sonin’s horrified expression, “We’re off topic now though.” Athis stepped closer and tried to look larger than his lean frame allowed, “Is that a yes or no, sister?”

“Well...I don’t really see why not.” Sonin added quickly, “For warmth.”

“Of course,” Athis closed the distance and locked his lips to hers, “For warmth.”

Sonin gasped as Athis threw himself onto the ground, pulling her on top of him. He had no worries of the snow on the ground, but was sure to keep Sonin off of it. The Dunmer wasted no time, unlacing her trousers and freeing his erection. Sonin wasn’t one to let a man do all the work, rubbing her slit back and forth to get the both of them wet.

“Does it feel better as a wolf?” Sonin questioned as she kept rubbing herself against him.

“Yes,” Athis groaned as she began to sink on him.

“Mmmm,” Sonin sighed in pleasure as his warmth spread from her privates across her body.

The cold no longer bothered her as she began to ride the mer under her. His nails dug into the supple flesh of her ass and hips, directing her speed. Athis thrusted into her to match her pace, enjoying how tightly she squeezed him. Easy or not, she was always tight and ready.

“I think it could be warmer in here,” Sonin spoke, earning a raised brow from Athis.

Before he could ask, she cast a fire cloak spell. Athis nearly spilled in her then and there as her body temperature raised past his own.

“Damn woman,” he cursed, gripping her harder.

Sonin giggled, picking up her pace. Athis wanted more though, more heat and more of her. He guided one of her legs up toward his face while bring his feet under him. At this angle both of their pleasures were maximised. Athis sent a silent prayer thanking the Gods that she was so flexible. Like something was taking over his mind, Athis bit into her thigh by his head. Sonin came hard at the pain, milking the Dunmer under her.

…In the distance…

“Damn. This Dragonborn seems like some fun. What do you think Sheogo?”

“Ah yes! She is quite mad, Sam!” Sheogorath laughed with this friend, “You should invite her for a drink!”

“I just might…”

…

“Did you hear something?” Sonin asked a panting Athis.

“No,” he pulled her closer into their pelts and onto his bare chest, “Probably a deer.”

“Hm…” Sonin closed her eyes, trusting her partner’s keen senses to alert them of danger.

…

“Damned Witch!” Sonin cursed as she jumped back and nearly avoided the hagraven’s talons, “No one said they were Hags!”

“Clearly!” Athis darted in front of Sonin and danced his blades across the old witch’s chest, causing her to scream and jump back.

Sonin quickly cast up a fire ward, anticipating and successfully blocking the witch’s fireball. Sonin cast spells of frost, her least favorite as they made her cold. An ice shard knocked the witch’s head clean off. Athis quickly gathered it and put it on his belt.

“That’s three,” Sonin stated, “Want one for yourself?”

“No, I think I’ll stay like this a little longer,” Athis replied.

“As you wish,” Sonin led the way out.

…

“Alright everyone,” Sonin announced to the crowd gathered in the hall, “Today we march on Ysgramor's Tomb for our fallen Harbinger and fellow shield siblings! There will be no breaks or stops. Gather your horses and follow me!”

Everyone shouted as they ran out the hall to follow Sonin. She rented a horse again for this journey as her’s was still in Markarth. Athis followed close behind her with Farkas and Vilkas at her sides. Both twins cast threatening glances at the Dunmer, sensing the mark. It assaulted their delicate noses.

“So,” Farkas spoke to the elf as they reached a slow down through the unforgiving snow, “I thought you had no interest in marking her.”

“I didn’t mark her,” Athis was confused.

“You idiot!” Vilkas replied, “You didn’t know that’s what you did?”

“Wait,” Athis thought on the matter for a moment, “The bite?”

“It was like the wolf took over, yes?” Vilkas replied.

“I-aye,” he responded.

“That’s marking,” Farkas added, “Did she-did she bite you back?”

“No,” Athis was shaken at the realisation of what he did.

“Then don’t worry,” Farkas replied.

“I didn’t know that’s what I did,” Athis replied, “Honest.”

“I believe you brother,” Farkas replied, “Maybe Sonin didn’t notice-”

“Oh I noticed!” Sonin hollered from over her shoulder, “I just didn’t want to call him out. I figured it was a mistake.”

“Hm,” Vilkas snorted.

“We’re here,” Sonin announced, “Wait…”

The three men dismounted first and rushed to follow the running Breton. They stood flabbergasted as a stone wall lit up and something rushed into her. She hit the ground, gasping hard. They ran to her fallen form.

“What was that?” Vilkas asked first.

“Word wall,” she replied between intakes of air, “A word of power in the dragon language. It-it teaches me.”

“Stange,” Athis replied.

“Says you,” Sonin snorted a laugh, “Imagine being on the other end.”

“Are you okay?” Farkas asked, holding a hand out for her.

“Yes love,” she took the offer, “Let’s go save Kodlak. I have a feeling this word will help.”

…

“What do you mean you can’t go further?” Aela smacked Farkas on the back of his head. “Ice-brain!”

“Hey it’s okay!” Sonin cut in, “He can’t do the spiders. We’ll manage sister.”

Manage they did. Sonin cast impressive waves of flame that sent the frostback spiders scrambling to safety. She was not expecting the spirits there to test her strength though. Aela took most of them out from a distance as Sonin kept making and breaking wards against their assaults.

“I think we’re here,” Aela spoke as they approached a non-hostile spirit.

As they got closer, they recognised it as Kodlak.

“Greetings Shield-Sister,” he spoke, ethereal.

“Kodlak?” Sonin questioned.

“Of course, my fellow Harbingers and I have been warming ourselves here. Avoiding Hircine,” He replied.

“I see only you,” Sonin spoke.

“Because your heart knows only me as Harbinger. Others may be able to see more of us.I see them all, and they all see you. You have brought honor to the Companions. We won’t forget it,” Kodlak replied.

“Vilkas said you could still be cured,” She said hopefully.

“Did he now? We can only hope. Throw the head onto the fire,” Kodlak instructed.

Aela drew her bow instinctively as a wolf spirit jumped out of Kodlak. It charged Sonin faster than she could cast a ward. Aela’s arrow stopped its mouth from crushing Sonin’s skull. Sonin brought forth her dragon skin, opting for her bound axes instead of risking other spells. The beast was not going down easy though. Aela took a bite to the leg, blood pouring from the wound. Sonin took a slash to the arm, just as bloodied.

“Wait!” Sonin called out to her sister, “I have an idea!”

Drawing on her new memories, she called the animal allegiance shout and the wolf stilled. Aela watched in surprise as Sonin walked up to the beastly form and stroked it’s spirit fur. With no resistance, she swung her axe down and chopped its head off.

Kodlak reappeared, “I thank you for this gift. The other harbingers remained trapped by Hircine though. Perhaps the heroes of old from Sovengard will harrow the hunting grounds with me and free them.” His tone shifted, “Maybe you will join us in that battle, but for now return to Jorrvaskr and lead the Companions.” And with that he faded.

“Did I hear right?” Aela questioned, “You are to lead the Companions?”

“I-I believe so,” Sonin stuttered.

“Then let me be the first to welcome you as-”

“No, no, no!” Sonin quickly made Aela stand back up from her kneel, “No kneeling. We are still equals Aela. Come now. Let us gather the twins and free them of their beasts.”
