Chapter 2
Kara burst through Alex's door. "Please tell me I'm not married to Lex Luthor!" Alex who was sitting on the couch flinched and Kara saw her instinctively reach for her gun before realizing who just attacked her so loudly.
"hello Alex how are you? oh thanks Kara for asking! I'm actually fine…I'm just a little worried about my door you just ripped out otherwise I'm fine"
Kara sighs and looked at the door for a brief second before focusing back on Alex "Alex please!" says Kara as she positions the door back in place hoping no strong wind comes.
"okay okay you're not married to Lex?"
"thank rao and i'm sorry about the door"
"it's not the first...but when the janitor comes you explain it to him!"
Kara laughs at the idea of Gregg's face when she has to tell him a crazy story about how this happened for the fourth time this year "I will"
"And why are you honoring me at this hour? I actually didn’t thought that you know that this early hour existed and now you are here just to know if you're married?" Kara's gaze turned icy as she remembered why she came here in the first place.
"Lex." Her voice became hard and calculating. "He has t-...it's going to sound crazy but Alex you have to believe me! Although the story is probably half as crazy as most days we experience. Anyway I woke up this morning in Lex Luthor’s bed and I know!! WEIRD but that's not the craziest thing he said we are married...guess what a Super and a Luthor married!!!" Kara makes a gagging noise "especially if the Luthor is Lex" Kara eyes widen "of course i didn’t mean every Luthor is…you know…just like…but I mean…yeah…with the gagging noise…it's just a weird idea you know…being with Lex…not the Luthor thing…even though is a big thing! Because I’m a Super and…I already said that didn’t I?"
Alex who stopped listening to Kara's rambling half a minute ago came back from her thoughts "Kara I'm sorry I don't quite understand what your problem is?"
"MY PROBLEM IS THAT I WOKE UP IN A BED WITH SOMEONE WHO TRIED TO KILL ME!"
Kara has expected various possible reactions but not this one. Alex just laughs as if Kara just made the joke of the century.
"Kara oh my god…what's wrong? Did you have another fight with Lex or why are you acting like this?"
Kara looks at Alex questioningly. 'What's going on now? Fight with Lex? If she wants to call years of enmity a fight then fine by me' Kara thought.
"Kara?" Alex stood up and walked over to Kara and grabbed her shoulders "hey...I know you're under a lot of stress right now a-"
Kara took a step back. She didn't know exactly why but something felt wrong. "You're not listening to me at all Lex-" Alex tired of this shit burst out "Kara you and Lex are married he told you the truth and why would you even gag at the idea?"
Kara was flabbergasted "what? but you said that i wasn't...with him."
"Yeah because I thought you guys were fighting again and not because it was a real question"
Kara said nothing she just walked past Alex and sat down on the couch.
"You really don't know that you two are married?" Kara shook her head before grabbing the blanket from the chair besides the couch and pulling it over her head.
"Kara I'll make you some tea, okay?" Alex didn't even wait for Kara's answer and already went to the kitchen. "I'd rather have something stronger" Kara called after her. "Kara it's not even 7 o'clock!"
"That never stops you" mutters Kara to herself but before she can really protest a loud knock came and the door, which was already ripped out by Kara, fought for its life. Kara went to the door before it could fall down and opens it. The person behind the door was no other than....
"Lena."
