Summary

Suddenly, a knock fell at Catra's door. The woman groaned loudly, really wishing that she had finished off that bottle of beer. Who could it even be? No one came to her house and so damn late as well. After tearing herself away from the whirlwind that was her thoughts and letting Melog jump off the couch and stalk towards the door, Catra managed to force herself to get up off the couch and follow Melog. The knocks on her door begin to become incessant and uncoordinated so much to the point that it brought her to genuine irritation, which, to be honest, wasn't hard for Catra to reach at. "Hold your fucking horses!" The woman growled out, "I'm coming.." With barely concealed venom and anger, Catra thrust the door open only to stand there, her mouth agape and honestly beside herself. There stood Adora.--A Detroit Become Human AU with the characters of She-Ra; expect pining, angst, enemies to lovers. This is a story of learning to trust and of understanding that you deserve love too.

We've been working on concepts and storylines for months so I sincerely hope to blossoms to fruition! Welcome to the beginning of Etheria Become Human! If you’re here from Robin’s Instagram (@spicedrke) or just found it while going through the Catra/Adora tag of AO3, I hope you’ll enjoy our little fic that has been several months in the making

Before we start on the lore of the fic, I wanted to introduce to the members of the Etheria Become Human team; since this whole process has largely been a team effort.

1. Our Founder and Artist: Robin (they/them)

Without Robin, this whole project wouldn’t have been happening right now! They’re an amazing person and artist, someone who takes the words we write and makes into pure artistry and also deals with all our crackhead demands!

2. One of our many talented writers, Carli/Capri (she/they)

One of the first people to express true interest in this AU, Capri is one of the most kind-hearted and talented people I’ve had the pleasure of knowing. Their mind is so wild and expansive and their writing expresses in that in the greatest way possible!

3. Another one of our writers, MJ (she/they)

MJ is a fabulous writer; giving our story the cutting edge it needed; especially in Adora’s POV! Compassionate and kind, you can tell the passion and work that they want to put into an AU no matter what!

4. And lastly, Sof (she/her)

Hey, that’s me aka Zeniel! I’m a writer, passionate about what I write and this project! I’m a big fan of romance and the tropes were writing so expect a lot of that from me!

Now that we’re done with introductions, let’s jump into the lore of this fic and a few things that are different!

Although this story is based on the basic premise of Detroit Become Human, the characters and their personalities and many major personalities and backstories are changed while many things stay the same. For example, CyberLife remains the same while Glimmer’s backstory and personality (North) changes immensely.

We don’t want to spoil the entire story but y’all should just keep in mind that the plot and arcs of this story will be very interesting, to say the least!
