Chapter 1
"It should've been you!" My moms body is covered in blood and the middle of her chest is a bullet hole. She lifts up a gun and pulls the trigger. "NO!" I sit up in my bed and look around. I open up my pencil case and grab a needle. I run to the bathroom and start slicing my wrist. Tears are running down my cheeks and my vision is blurry. I feel arms wrap around my and pull me into a hug. I turn my head and see the yellow blonde hair of one of my dads."Zuku I thought we said to stop cutting. We don't like to see you hurting yourself." I turn my body around and cry into my dads shirt. "What's going on?" I look over his shoulder and see Shota Aizawa, My other dad. "He was cutting again.." I feel another pair of arms wrap around me. My sobs get louder, but nobody buut the three of us can hear cause we have sound proof walls for dads yelling.
"It should've been me, not her. If I had gotten home earlier then she wouldn't be dead!" Hizashi storks my hair with his hand. "Nobody should've died Izuku. But we're here for you. We will protect you however we can, right Shota?" "Right. We care about you. Your part of our family, now lets get you cleaned up." They help me stand up and Hizashi washes my hand well Shota gets the bandages. "Do you want to sleep with us tonight?" I nod my head and we walk into there room. I lay in the middle with both my dads on each side of me. After a few minutes i'm fast asleep.

I wake up in the morning and Hisashi is still asleep. I slip out of the bed and go into the living room. "Morning Dad, What you doing?" Shota looks up at me then back at his laptop. "Morning, I'm matching the roommates for the dorm rooms.Do you think you could help?" "Sure Dad!" I sit down on the couch and look at his laptop. "Who do you think would be good with Bakugou?" I look at the people left on the list. "Kirishima. They have a good friendship and he can calm Kacchan down. Plus he can deal with his yelling." Dad noods his head and puts hem down as dorm mates. "Dad who am I dormed with?" "I was thinking about putting you and Todoroki together. Do you think that is good?" "Yeah. I'm make dinner cause Pa should be up soon."
Shota nodded his head and continued the dorm mates. I'm almost done with the steamed rice when Hizashi comes out into the living room. He's fully dressed like Shota is cause I'm pretty sure they have to go to UA today. "Morning Pa." He walks up behind me and kisses my cheek. "Morning Zuku. What you making?" "Steamed Rice, is that okay?" "Anything thats made by you is good!" I smile and nod. Hizashi walks up to Shota and kisses him. I put the Rice in three bowls and get chopsticks. I set them on the table. "Breakfast is ready. Eat fast you have to go soon." I put coffee in there spots and water in mine.
They come sit at the table and eat there rice. "Have you chose the dorm mates for 1-A?" "Yeah, Izuku helped me with some." "Really?" Pa looks at me. "Who did you pare Bakugou with?" "I thought Kirishima would be a good choice for him." He nods and puts his bowl in the sink. My phone gets a notification and I pull it out. It's from the Class 1-A group Chat.
Jirou: He guys you know how we have to move into dorms? Well I'm throwing a party sleepover for everyone being safe and the new dorms. It's on Today at 6:00pm. Heres my address XXXXX. Text if you can come!
I look at my dads. "Jirou is having a sleepover party for the new dorms and everyone being safe. Do you guys think I can go?" "When is it?" "Today at 6." They look at each other then back at me. "Sure Izuku. Just text us when your leaving if were not back from the school yet." I jump up and give them both a hug. "Thank you guys!" "No problem. But we better get going if we don't wanna be late. Today is the staff meeting for the dorm arrangement." "Okay." "Bye Izuku, See you later." I kiss there cheeks as they walk out the door. I pull out my phone and sit on the couch.
Midoryia: My dads said I can come!
Jirou: That's great Midoryia!
Kirishima: Same I can come too.
Midoryia: Wait who is coming?
Jirou: You and Kirishima were the last ones I needed to check off. Everyone else is coming. Though i'm not so sure I trust Mineta....
Mineta: Why wouldn't you trust me?!
Jirou: Your a big pervert and a whole class of girls will be in one house and you will also be in that house.
Midoryia: What's a pervert?
Sero: It's someone-
Uraraka: NO! KEEP HIM AN INNOCENT CINNAMON ROLL STILL!
Midoryia: I'm not a cinnamon roll!
Tuysu: Yes you are Midoriya ribbit.
Midoryia: I have to go get some stuff well my dads are at work. Jirou do you need me to get anything well i'm there?
Jirou: We need a bit more snacks if you want to buy some.
Midoryia: Okay Bye!
I turn off my phone and went into my room. I pull out a long sleeve hoodie and jeans. I put on my shoes and grab my wallet. I walk out of the house and pull out my notes. I go to the store and get some food for the fridge since we were running out. I grab a soda bottle and fruit roll ups. I grab 2 chip bags and go to the cheek out. Once I buy everything it is around 11:30 so I catch a bus back to my house. When I get inside I go hide the snacks in my room so Pa doesn't eat them. I put the food in the fridge and put on the first three Star Wars movie. I cry at all the sad parts cause I am a sucker when it comes to sad movie parts.
I hear the door open and my Dads walk in. "Hey guys!" "Hey Zuku, what have you been doing?" "Oh I just got some stuff at the store and I just started on the 4th Star Wars Movie." "Well it's 5:00pm right now, have you packed your bag?" I shake my head no and stand up. "Better go do that now!" I walk to my room and grab an empty backpack. I put my pjs in it and a fresh pair of clothes for the morning. I put my toothbrush and toothpaste in. I look at my desk. I grab the pencil case with my cutting things in it and shove them into the bag. I grab my phone charger and the bag of snacks then go out into the living room.
"Do you guys think one of you could drive me there? It would be over 30 minute walk." "Sure thing Izuku! Come on." Hizashi grabbed his keys and we walked out to the car. I pull out my GPS and link it to the car so he knows where to go. We get there around 5:40pm. I kiss his cheek. "Have fun tonight Zuku. And don't stay up to late. Call if you need anything." I kiss his cheek and get out of the car. "See you tomorrow Pa!" I shut the car door and walk up the steps of Jirous house. It's an average 2 story house. I walk up the steps and knock on the door. Jirou opens the door and smiles. "Hey Midoryia!" "Hey Jirou, I brought some snacks where do I put them?" She grabs them out of my hands and smiles at me. "I can do it. We still need help with setting up sleeping bags, can you help them?"
"Sure!" I go over to where a stack of sleeping bags are and help put them out. Everyone else arrives by 6. Todoroki looks at me, smiles and waves. I feel my face get red and wave back. Todoroki starts to walk over to me. I start freaking out a bit but get stopped in thought when Todoroki talks. "Hi Midoryia. How are you?" "H-Hello Todoroki! I-i'm doing g-good!" Jirou, Mina, Uraraka and Tuysu come up to me. "Excuse us Todoroki, but can we borrow Deku for a bit?" "Sure Uraraka." Mina grabs my arm and pulls me into a corner. "Mina stop I think your scarring him." "S-she's not scarring me but whats going on?"
Uraraka look at me and smiles. "Deku do you like Todoroki?" I feel my face heat up. "W-why would you think That?!" "It's okay if your gay Midoryia we all support you if you are ribbit. Me and Uraraka are dating." I look at the four of them and sigh. "Yes I like Todoroki and yes I am gay." They all squeal and start talking about how they knew that I did. I slap my hand on my forehead. "Midoriya can you sing?" "I-i um kinda i guess? I haven't practiced a lot so... Why do you ask Jirou?" A smile goes on her face and she grabs my arm. "Were gonna do karaoke!" I gulp. "A-are you s-sure Jirou?" "Yeah I'm sure now come on!" She drags me over to the karaoke machine. "Do you want to sing one song or a sing off one?" "Um, a sing off I guess?" Jirou pulls out two papers and hands one to me. "We're gonna do these okay?" I nod my head

Everyone comes and sit around us as she hands me a mic. I take a deep breath and start singing. Everyones face looks a little shocked. Well Jirou sings her part I look at Todoroki. I smile and sing my part. Me and Jirou look at each other and sing part of Love The Way You Lie. When I sing again I look at Todoroki not knowing why. "Love Me like you do, Touch me like you do." I see his face go red and mine does too. I take another breath and contuine singing after Jirou.
I look at Bakugou next. "You say you can live without me, So why aren't you dead? Why you still breathing?" I look at Jirou well she sings. We look at each other and nod. "BUT YOU'LL NEVER BE ALONE! I'LL BE WITH YOU FROM DUSK TILL DAWN, I'LL BE WITH YOU FROM DUSK TILL DAWN! BABY I'M RIGHT HERE!" My eyes start getting watery remembering my mother. I look at Jirou and she smiles back. We hear clapping and start laughing when we keep bowing.
We set the mics back down and people come up to us. "Wow that was so manly guys! And Midoriya I didn't know you could sing like that!" "T-thanks Kirishima!" People kept saying how great we sound together and asked how I learned to sing like that. Jirou grabs the mic. "Okay everyone, get into a circle we're playing Truth or Dare!" Jirou has a devilish smile on her face and i sigh. I sit down next to Todoroki. "Is it okay if I sit here?" "Sure." "Okay I'm pretty sure you guys already know the rules so lets begin! Bakugou Truth or Dare?" "Dare" "I dare you to spend 7 minutes in the closet with Kirishima, and you two have to kiss." "WHAT THE HELL!-"
Kirishima stands up. "Come on Bakugou." He walks over to Mina and whispers something in her ear. She smiles and gives him a thumbs up. "Since i'm next to Jirou my turn!" Mina looks around the room. "Deku, Truth or Dare?" Oh god. "Truth." "What's your sexuality?" I give her the really you just had to? look. "Do I have to answer?" "Yes unless you want to switch to dare then you have to do the dare." I know she would do something that had to do with Todoroki so I sighed. "Can I go get Kirishima and Bakugou first?" "Fine only cause it's been over 7 minutes." I get up and walk to the closet. I knock on it. "Guys time to come out." The door opens and they both walk out. I sit next to Todoroki. "Okay now answer The question, Whats your sexuality?" I look at the ground.
"I'm gay.." "What was that Midoriya? I couldn't hear you." I look at her and give her a straight face. "I'm Gay." Everyone is looking at me. "We support you Midoryia!" I look up and Iida is smiling. "Yeah, Me and Bakugou-" "SHUT UP SHITTY HAIR!" I smile, already knowing what he was gonna say. Everyone was saying they support or they are gay or lesbian.

I go lay in a sleeping bag and charge my phone. I put in headphones and play music. I feel a tap on my shoulder and I pause my music. "Yes?" I look up and Todoroki is standing there. "Can ilay next to you?" "S-sure Todoroki!" He puts his bag down on the ground and sits on the sleeping bag. I look at his scar. "Todoroki can I ask you something?" "Sure Midoriya, what is it?" "How did you get your scar?" His face goes straight. I start moving my hands around in the air. "IT'S OKAY IF YOU DON'T WANT TO TELL ME I MEAN-" "My mother..." I stop talking. "Y-your mother?" "She was going insane, one day I walked into the kitchen and she had a kettle on the stove. She was on the phone. I remember her saying Everyday he seems to look more like his father, I can't take it anymore. I asked her what was wrong, when she turned around her eyes look insane..."
I look at Todoroki. "My mother died well I was in middle school. One day I came home and yelled i was home. When I didn't hear an answer I went to look around the house." My eyes start to get a bit watery. "I went into her room and she was laying on the ground with blood all over her. She had a hole in her chest from a bullet. I called 911 and they came to my house. One day in middle school I decided to jump off a roof.... But one of my Dads saved me." I look up at Todoroki and smile. "But i'm okay now." Todoroki pulls me into a hug. I hesitate but then return it. I pull away a bit over a minute. "Wanna watch a movie on my phone?" "Sure, What movie?" "How about the 4th Star Wars? I was watching it before I came here and I had just started it." Todoroki nods his head.
I pull out an earbud and hand it to Todoroki. I hit play on the movie. I put my head on Todorokis shoulder. Half way into it I fall asleep.

"It should've been YOU NOT ME!" MY mom is walking towards me. I try to run away but my body can't move. "PLEASE NO MOM!" She pulls the trigger and I sit up panting. I look around. Todoroki must've put me into my sleeping bag cause I'm no longer on his shoulder. I grab my phone off the charger. 6:01am. I look around and everyone else is asleep.. Good. I grab my pencil case and run into the bathroom. I open it up and grab the needle. I make lines on my forearms, blood dripping down. Should've been you, Useless, Dumb, Idiot, Just die already. Tears are mixing with the blood on my forearms. when I calmed down a bit I push my hands under the sink to wash it away. Well i'm putting on the bandages I hear a voice come from behind me. "D-did I make you do this to yourself?"
