Seulgi stares at the positive pregnancy test in her hand. This is not suppose to happen. Not now. Not ever.
When she got her first pill offered by Byeong Jin for doing a good job at stealing them, she was immediately addicted to them. Not only did they help her focus on her studies, they also helped her escape from the hell hole called her life.
After her first pill, she asked for more but he wanted money for it, money she didn't have. So the only thing she could think of was to steal them from him. Well that didn't last long because he caught her and she had to beg him to spare her life.Byeong demanded she give him his money or his drugs back, instead she offered her body to him.
Now she's sitting with the consequences of her action. Seulgi puts the pregnancy test in the back of her bag where no one will find it. She just sits on the toilet pot at school, trying to keep her tears from falling.

All these thoughts are running through her mind while she is subconsciously rubbing her stomach. When she felt what she was doing, she couldn't keep her tears back anymore. She began to cry, not only because she found out she's pregnant in the fucking school's toilet, but she also realizes her life is over.
Someone opened the toilet door and Seulgi immediately stops crying. She held her breath, since she didn't want anyone to find out she's in here, nor why she's crying in here.
"Seulgi-ah, I know you're in here." The person said and Seulgi immediately wanted to cuss at her.
Of-fucking-course. The universe fucking hates her. The one person Seulgi hates more than her step-mother finds her in this predicament.
Yoo Jaeyi was her academic rival and bully. Every chance she got she would belittle her infront of everyone, wanting Seulgi to know where she belongs on the social hierarchy.
Her bullying never got physical which Seulgi was oddly thankful for (Her last bullies physically hurt her to the point where she was in a coma for two months. So Jaeyi verbally bullying her is a walk in the park compared to that).
She tried to report the bullying, but the teachers were useless as always. Since Jaeyi's dad donates money and let the school use his hospital for the student's to learn, Jaeyi is basically an untouchable God at the school. After the third failed report, she just gave up and put up with her bullying.
If Seulgi's being honest, she does not know why Jaeyi is bullying her. Maybe it's because she's poor or maybe it's because she's the only one that manages to outsmart her at school work.
"Seulgi-ah, why are you not answering?" Jaeyi said in a fake whining tone and all Seulgi could do was to roll her eyes and sigh.
"Maybe I'm taking a shit." She wipes the tears from her face and zips up her bag. Jaeyi just scoffs and walks infront of the toilet stall Seulgi is in. She pretends to sniff the air and Seulgi prepares herself for whatever is about to come out of Jaeyi's mouth.
"Not evens this shit can cover the smell of how rotten to the core you are."
Ignoring her, she opens the door and walks past a sneering Jaeyi to the sink. Seulgi washes her hands and sees Jaeyi in the corner of her eyes watching her every move.
After she's done, she walks to the door but unfortunately Jaeyi stops her.
"Where you going, I'm not done talking." Jaeyi stands infront of the toilet door, arms crossed and stares at Seulgi with an evil glint in her eyes.
"I am though, so move." She tries to walk past Jaeyi and open the door, but before she can do that, Jaeyi grabs her wrist.
Seulgi snatches her wrist out of Jaeyi's hand and scoffs. "Look here, I'm really not in the mood to be your 'victim' now, so just get out of my fucking way."
Ignoring what Seulgi said, Jaeyi steps forward, almost invading her personal space and leans in to whisper in her ear.
"You know, taking drugs to score a perfect score on the mock test is kind of illegal." Seulgi's heart stopped beating for a moment. If Jaeyi knows she takes drugs, she'll never let Seulgi forget about it.
Swallowing the knot that started to form in her throat, Seulgi mustered up all her courage to retort at Jaeyi but fails miserably when her voice cracks.
"Well, if y-you want to make up false rumors just because you came in second place, be my guest." Jaeyi couldn't contain her sinister smile at her voice crack.
"False rumors...You and I both know nothing is false about that rumor princess." There's nothing Seulgi hates more than the nickname Jaeyi gave her. It reminds her of her dead father making excuses why he can't visit her and promising that he'll be better.
Obviously he never followed through with his promises and would always end up making more empty promises. At the end Seulgi gave up with him trying to be a better father, but that is until her mother suddenly died from a heart attack. After the funeral, she had to stay with him and still then he made empty promises about being a father.
"I'm not taking drugs, so just leave me alone."
Seulgi says avoiding Jaeyi's eyes and walks to the door but Jaeyi suddenly grabs her bag, causing it to open and reveal the hidden pregnancy test.
Seulgi quickly turned to close her bag and before Jaeyi could mutter any word, Seulgi quickly left the toilet, leaving behind a bewildered Jaeyi.
'What the fuck?'
