Chapter 19
Izuku winced as he was barreled into by a small girl. He picked her up when she seemed to look back towards the alleyway in fear. He wasn’t sure why, but she was obviously scared of something.
“Hey, it’s ok. I got you.” Izuku shushed the girl getting ready to walk back to the agency, when a voice stopped him.
“Eri, why are you bothering this hero,” Chisaki asked the girl scratching at his mask.
“Do you know her?” Izuku asked
“She’s my daughter. She has trouble listening and running off.” The man replied.
Izuku went to retort when he felt his hood knocked forward to cover his face. He looked at Mirio, who shook his head. Izuku decided to use foresight and, well, he didn’t like what he saw, so he did something stupid...he ran. Now in most universes, Izuku would end up letting Eri go and rescuing her another day in this one though he decided to take a chance at altering fate. Unfortunately, he didn’t get very far when Overhaul shot him. Izuku ended up passing out when he felt a multitude of his quirks shatter from the effects of the bullet. Thankfully, he could save his main one, One for All, and a few of his favorites. Unluckily this would allow for Overhaul to prepare and be ready with a permanent erasing bullet. What neither realized was that Izuku was hit with that exact bullet, and Eri activated her quirk for just a split second before fear overtook her once more. But that was all that was needed for Izuku to gain an immunity to the bullets.
