Summary
*on hiatus*In many universes, Midoriya Izuku is only seen as the second coming of All Might. In this Universe, Izuku has grown tired of all the Villan attacks and has something of a wake-up call after the Stain incident in Hosu. Deciding they have been focusing on all the wrong things and taking Gran's advice to heart. They have stopped focusing on being like All Might and have instead focused on how to be a good hero, and help their friends. This unfortunately has the side effect of both scaring and impressing his teachers, gaining his classmate's admiration, and attracting unwanted attention from the League of Villians. Also it makes them a bit of a sassy little shit.
Note
Yo, I have another story with three chapters that are already written, and working on a fourth. I'm going to post the first two now and the second two after I clean this up. Also, this will be my first time writing a genderfluid character so hopefully, I don't mess anything up. After I finish writing/editing the other two chapters for this I'm going to continue working on my other stories. hopefully, soon I can finish some of my current ones. Also, I do not own My hero academia.

Chapter 17

Izuku walked nervously behind Mirio. She was anxious to meet the one person All Might chose to be his sidekick. She was hoping for him to help her with her analysis because, honestly, she wasn’t ready to take over the world like Nezu seemed to be.

“Sir, I brought the intern with me.” Mirio slammed open the door, reveling bubble girl in some kind of tickle contraption. Izuku did not want to be stuck in that.

“Izuku Midoriya, right? Are you any good at jokes?” Nighteye narrowed his eyes at her, causing Izuku to squeak before she gained an idea.

Briefly morphing her face into her All Might persona, she said, “Get that bitch a cannon,” pointing at bubble girl. Sir Nighteye gaped. “Bitches love cannons.” Then morphed her face back, grinning. It’d been a while since she did her Alucard impression.

Nighteye’s shoulders twitched, then the corners of his mouth before finally he burst out laughing.

“You, with Toshinori’s face, oh god, he doesn’t even like that show, I can’t, haha.” Nighteye clutched his stomach, wheezing on the ground.

“Midoriya, you killed him!” Mirio grinned, causing Nighteye to burst into more fits of laughter.

“You certainly have the humor for this agency.” Nighteye rose from the ground as he recomposed himself.

“Eh, gotta find some way to kick depression in the balls.” Izuku shrugged before noticing Nighteye holding back another snort.

“Yes, well, Mirio, Bubble girl, if you could leave us to it.” Nighteye dismissed the two before taking a seat and holding his hand out for Izuku’s form. Izuku pulled it out and...oh, already using a quirk? Hm, well, good thing she’s been practicing with Mirio. And got her costume updated like his. Though the undercut still took some time getting used to it.

“Is there a reason you missed the stamp?” Izuku asked.

“Yes, quite frankly, I don’t think you deserve One for All. It should have gone to Mirio.”

“Why do you believe that?”

“Mirio has the training and personality to become the next symbol of peace. You are just some quirkless child Toshinori picked up off the street who has no idea what they’re doing.” Nighteye stated like it was a fact.

Izuku’s grin became sharper as she realized this man either didn’t read her updated information or he’s an idiot.

“One, I don’t break my bones any more thanks to Gran Torino, two, you sound a bit quirkiest for someone who possesses a non-combatant quirk, and three, I have more work-study offers, so tell me why should I work with you?” Izuku stared the man down, watching him sweat slightly.

If the kid didn’t study under him, then there would be no way of convincing her to give up One for All to the person who truly deserves it.

“How about this? If you can take this stamp from me in under 3 minutes, I’ll take you on.” Nighteye adjusted his glasses, already predicting the moves she would make. She would ultimately fail.

Izuku, however, narrowed her eyes, he seemed to disregard what she’d informed him of, but she’d prove him wrong in all accounts. Besides, something told her she’d need to work with him for some odd reason.

“Fine with me; any restrictions?” Izuku asked him.

“Nope,” Nighteye smirked as he started the timer watching her make the moves he predicted, including blocking his vision. Nighteye moved to dodge her next move but was shocked when she came out of the ground screaming “POWER,” striking his balls. Nighteye released the piece and clutched his manhood in pain. How did she? That was Mirio’s quirk but.

“Huh, I guess Yagi-San forgot to mention an important fact.” Izuku kneeled, shoving her stamped work studies contract in his face.

“Which is?” Nighteye asked

“When a quirk interacts with me in some way, mine copies it. By the way, it’s a bit rude to use yours on a student.”

“What but that—“

“Sounds similar to All for One? I know. Mom can’t seem to get a hold of dad, and we’re holding off on a blood test for obvious reasons.” Izuku smiled as she helped the man up.

“By the way, I have no desire to be a symbol of peace. That doesn’t work.” Izuku grabbed her bag and walked towards the door.

“Then what do you plan to be?” Nighteye asked the girl, intrigued

Izuku stopped, looked over her shoulder, and calmly said, “hope.” Before leaving the building.

Nighteye stared at the girls retreating form before collapsing in his chair. Well, this changed a few things.
