Melatonin Fluff & Comfort! (Astro X Boxten)
Boxten was staring up at the ceiling from his bed, unable to all asleep after the nightmare he had. He did not want to go into details. With hesitation, he quietly arose from his comforter and walks towards the door, his (windy toy thing) spinning nervously. He opens the door and glances down the familiar hallways, spotting Poppy and Astro talking in Astro's room. As he walks down the corridors, the music from his head starts playing quietly, soothing the atmosphere. Astro hears Boxtens quiet footsteps and the calming music, walking to the door, he is greeted with Boxten, who is on the verge of tears, and shivering.
"Boxten, Darling, are you okay?" Astro says quietly, pulling Boxten into the room and sitting him next to Poppy, who felt bad.
"I..I'm fine.. Just a bad dream.." He responds quietly, blinking away tears as he takes deep breaths.
"Love, there is no need to lie.. Please?"
"I don't wanna go into details.. Can you just give me a good dream..?"
"Of course.. I know you have some problems.." Astro sits next to Boxten and rests his head on Boxtens shoulder. Boxten eases at the touch, pulling Astro closer. The duo sit in peaceful bliss, the quiet intimate moment calming both of them.
"...Yeahhh. you guys do that, I'm heading back to bed." Mutters Poppy before swiftly leaving the room and closing the door gently, gaining a quiet chuckle from the couple.
"Darling..?" Asks Boxten, fidgeting with his thumbs.
"Yeah?" Responds Astro with a curious yet content tone.
"Thank you.. for everything.. I know you're trying."
"It's no difficulty, just let me know if you want to stay for the night."
Boxten pauses, considering the idea. He looks towards Astro as he lifts his head from Boxtens shoulder.
"I'd like that.." Says Boxten shyly.
"I was hoping you were going to say that." Astro responds as he lays down, Boxten following shortly. Astro holds out his arms for Boxten to bury in. With no falter, Boxten clings to Astro, savoring his scent and melting into him (figuratively). The moon shines a dim blue into Astros room, giving the area a soothing atmosphere as the two toons drift off, both easing their muscles(?) in the presence of their lover.
