Chapter 5

When Izuku got back to the little spot within the trash-filled beach he decided it was time that he starts thinking about training not only his quirk but also his body's strength. Throughout that night he sat awake thinking of plans to train everything, his mind, body, and quirk and could only come up with a few different ideas.

The first of which would be to start cleaning the beach that he was currently residing at, which while not ideal would help his physical strength and possibly even his mental strength as well if he uses his mind to try cleaning from the bottom up playing a big game of " don't let it fall."

The second option would be to start learning some parkour, which in the end will improve his quirk as well as he could learn to possibly use it to break impacts and use it with a faster reaction in the cases he trips or falls...

The third option which is probably the smartest would be to find some type of villain that will teach him how to fight and live on the streets, but the problem with that option would be finding someone to teach him without trying to attack or kill him as soon as he tries talking to them...

With those in mind, Izuku decided to start with the parkour, seeing that as his best idea to start learning more about this area and maybe even possibly find someone more secure to live in, but finding somewhere to live also meant he needed to find a source of income, and as a 12-year-old teen who was homeless he was not going to find work very easily, but for now, Izuku just laid down on the cold sand, looking up to the slowly darning sky, watching as the stars slowly made themselves known to the world.

It always fascinated him how though stars are billions of light-years away, yet we could see them up in the sky and never know if that star is alive to this day or not, whos to say it has not blown up a thousand years ago but that light has just not reached us yet. Without pondering much longer the almost teen fell into a fitful sleep, his golden power surrounding him to protect him from the wind and the harsh cold biting through the air.

Later in the night, the young boy was woken with a shock to his system as a small heap of trash came crashing down not far from him, with a startle he pushed his quirk to be as a shield while looking around with wide panicked eyes, scanning the immediate area for some sort of danger but finding nothing that would catch his bright green eyes in the dark of the night.

With a dejected sigh, Izuku just gave up looking around and got up further and figured with the adrenaline running through his veins, there was no possible way he would be able to go back to the fitful sleep he was in. One quick stretch later Izuku was heading out of the garbage covered beach heading towards the empty streets and slowly making his speed up to a fast jog.

Jogging through the night in the streets that were usually never quiet, yet he could hear his semi-heavy footfalls bouncing off of the sleeping buildings, none to see the young teen slowly working himself up to a slight sweat.

But not all are sleeping in late at night, not everyone walks the streets. To one underground hero, a jogging teen at four in the morning was an alarm bell ringing. From the rooftops the black-haired underground hero followed the overly loud teen, getting more and more concerned as the child was heading back towards the trash-filled beach. Just as Aizawa was about to jump down from the top of the building and confront the little green-haired teen Izuku disappeared from his line of sight.

Izuku knew he was being followed, he could not tell from where or how close they were, but he could feel someone watching him, a skill he has picked up after years of hiding from bullies and being leered at by perverts looking for easy prey, so he called it a night and headed back to his little spot with his briefcase of gold, to catch a few more hours of sleep before the sun kissed the sky.

Hours later when Izuku woke, it was to a bustling street, sun shining high in the sky and waves hitting the dirtied shoreline and his muscles feeling slightly sore, but it is the good type of sore that comes from a workout one is not typically used to but leaves them feeling refreshed.

Jumping up from the small blanket he found to lay down on, he dusted off his dirty pants and grabbed the briefcase filled with gold and money, deciding to go through and pick out the piecing of shining gold that he disliked the most and then stuffing some cash into the hem of his boxers for the safest keeping, before heading out to find a pawn shop and then search for a low-cost apartment that would let a 12-year-old rent out a small room.

He walked the bustling streets to find the nearest pawnshop for jewelry and fine materials that seemed well endowed and turned on his quirk to give him a cleaner and sharper look as he walked into the shop looking as confident as a 12-year-old could, making it almost seem as though he belonged there without a doubt in the world.

Walking up to the pristine counter Izuku dropped a few pieces of gold bracelets, necklaces, and gold coins onto the desk with a pointed look, " I want the highest dollar for these, my father has sent me to sell them and I cannot be fooled easily into your goating pricing." The man was shocked with the way Izuku spoke, assuming the young lad was of some high standing with the way he held himself and spoke so diligently to the shop keeper.

So the shop keeper inspected the gold only to be surprised to find all of if 14k gold with all at least 20grams to each item " Young sir... the pieces you have brought me, I could sell them to you for five grand, that is the highest you will find in this part of town.."

With that news, Izuku beamed on the inside but just gave a slight nod of his head " Very well... I would like it in cash, please and thank you." Without much fuss, the shop keeper wearily handed over the 5 thousand cash to the little 12-year-old boy who just nodded and walked out of the shop as though nothing ever happened.

Izuku was thrilled! With this he could definitely afford a small apartment now... but, maybe it would be better if he just bought one of those old houses that are thrown up for sale before being demolished as a last-ditch effort...

Just was Izuku was getting lost in thought, his purple-haired friend ran right into him, once again bloody and bruised but this time alert and tears falling down his face with poorly done stitches, stitching his mouth closed. All Izuku could do was stare in shock before he grabbed Hitoshi by the arm and booked it towards one of the back streets, pushing past all of the adults and other teens busying the streets.

Once hidden behind the dumpsters Izuku took a better look at his friend and instantly started getting angry at whoever did this to his friend, but first ripped off a piece of his shirt and started cleaning the boy of blood and grime " Hey Hitoshi... I need you to stay here for me okay? I need you to sit tight and I'm going to go get something that can take those stitches out okay? ill be right back I promise"

All the boy could do was no with tears in his eyes as Izuku fumbled out of the alley towards a nearby drug store to get antiseptics, tweezers, scissors, and proper bandages for his friend. Though no one will say all the happy little kid bought was a bag of chips and two small water bottles to the cashier who was giving him to kind of a smile.

All the public saw was a happy little kid walking out with chips and water, no one saw the bandages and other equipment stuffed under his clothes or hidden in his messy hair as he walked back towards where he left his friend by the dumpster.
