“Sherry, can you grab Natalia ?”

“Claire have you got the beers?” Chris asked.

“No, can you get them?” They’re just in the basement.” Claire pointed to the door in the kitchen.

While Chris got the drinks Claire grabbed her coat and car keys. Then once everyone was ready. They headed off to Barry’s, it was about 30 to 45 minute drive from hers. They arrived at a crossroad, just as she stepped on the accelerator the car suddenly went dead. She turned the key a few times to start the engine but nothing happened.

“Well looks like we’ll be walking.”

“I’m not walking for one and half hours.” Sherry scoffed.

“I can’t think of anything else.” Claire got out of the car and looked around to see if she could see something familiar. When she looked down one of the roads she realised who’s house she was near.

“Come on I have an idea.”

Sherry, Natalia and Chris all followed the redhead to a massive looking house. She knocked to see a familiar face answer the door. She didn’t share the same look as Claire.

“Merry Christmas, Alex.”Claire smiled holding up the pack of beers, she’d took off Chris.

“Nice of you to bring the whole family. Not like I haven’t got problems of my own.” Alex pointed down the hall and as if on queue a familiar voice shouted out.

“Hey that’s cheating.”

“Jake, did daddy not teach you how to play.”

“Don’t pick on the poor boy, Alexia.”

“You’re right brother. Come on we can find better things to do.”

“Why didn’t you tell me Jake was here.” Sherry shoved passed Claire and Alex.

Claire just gave a weak smile. “I better follow her to make sure her mouth doesn’t get her into trouble.

The redhead squeezed passed Alex while looking her straight in the eyes. The blonde was really making it difficult but none the less Claire still managed to get around her.

Alex then turned back to Natalia and Chris.

Chris was the next one to come forward. “I need to have a word with my sister.” He told the blonde heading in after Claire.

“So it just leaves you. Miss Korda.” Alex folded her arms across her chest.

“I don’t need to follow, I’m good out here.” Natalia gave a surprising answer.

Alex raised her right brow. You might as well come in, everyone else has.” The blonde moved to the side to let the young girl in.

“Barry, you’re going to have to tell Claire the dinner is off. The oven isn’t working.”

“They’re probably already on their way.” Barry protested

“Please just ring them.” Kathy insisted.

Barry just took out his phone but before he could dial the number. Chris’ name came up. “Hey. I was just going to ring you.”

“Look we have a bit of trouble. Claire's car has had to go into the garage.”

“You sound like us. Our oven has decided to stop working. I don’t what I’m going to tell the girls. They were really looking forward to today.”

“Seen as it’s Christmas, maybe you should join us at Weskers place.” Chris suggested.

“You of all people know we don’t see eye to eye.”

“I’ll get Claire to talk to her. Trust me if my sister cant persuade her then I guess there’s no hope.”

“Ok I’ll gather the troops. We should be there in thirty minutes.” Barry switched the phone off and explained everything to Kathy.

Gina was the first one up. She had managed to get showered and dressed before the other two. She headed downstairs to put the coffee on.

‘Morning.” She greeted the first one with a smile.

Jill didn’t exactly respond in the manner she wanted her to. “Is Rachael up yet?”

“Not as I know of.” Gina furrowed her brows in confusion.

She just watched as Jill poured herself a cup of coffee.

“Morning, Gina.” Rachael greeted entering the kitchen.

The dark haired just watched as the two blondes tried to avoid each other. She just couldn’t put her finger on what was up. “Are you two ok?”

Jill's head shot up fast from her coffee. She looked to Rachael and then back to the younger girls sister. “We’re fine.”

“Gina could you grab me the sugar? Someone has left it on the table.” Rachael said in a sarcastic tone.

“Ask Jill she’s one who’s used it."

“I can’t. I’m sorry.” Jill apologised leaving the kitchen.

She was about to ask what was wrong with them both when her phone beeped.

Hey it’s Claire. Barry told me you were going to his for dinner. Well i wanted to let you know there has been a change of plans. Instead we’re all meeting at this address. Another text message followed just after.

Gina just replied with ok but dread fell over her when she realised she had to tell the other two.

Claire had just finished messaging Gina when she felt a prod to her shoulder. Turning around, she then let out a sigh of relief once she saw who it was. “Chris. You ok?”

“Yeah, I need to ask you something.”

“Go ahead.”

“Ive seen how Alex looks at you from time to time so I know she’ll listen to you.” Chris watched as Claires face turned from a smile to worry. “Well i was hoping you could talk to Alex about Barry coming over.”

“Ok.”

“That was easy. Thanks sis.” Chris tapped her on the arm and walked away shaking his head. “Unbelievable.”

What Chris didn’t know is she had only agreed to it because she had invited a few friends over as well.”

She tore her eyes away from Chris after hearing Sherry’s loud mouth going at it but her gaze didn’t stop on the young girl for long seen as she noticed the older blonde sneaking away into the kitchen.

“Well this is it.” Claire breathed in a long breath before letting it out.”

She slowly opened the large kitchen door and there she was. Pouring herself a few shots of vodka.

“So this is what you get up to in your spare time?”

Alex never twitched not once. She was really good at hiding her expressions and emotions.

“What do you want?”

“I need to talk to you.”

“Go ahead I’m all ears.” Alex was about to take another shot of vodka when she felt a warm hand on hers.

Claire took the shot glass and poured the small amount of liquid down her throat.

“I wouldn’t have took you for a vodka drinker.”

“I’m not but I do need to tell you something.”

“Look Miss Redfield there is nothing you could tell me that would shock me.”

“Ok. Well I’ve actually invited Barry and his family to come here instead.”

“You have. Why don’t you ask your boyfriend to come as well and his girlfriend. Why invite just one?”

“My boyfriend, what do you mean?”

“Mr Kennedy and Miss Wong.”

“In that case. Consider them invited.” Claire gave Alex a sarcastic smirk.

Two hours had now passed and Alex thought the whole school was now in her hall. Her house wasn’t as big as the one back in London but it did have 6 en-suites. One hall, a dining room, kitchen and a large study.

Alex had downed about 8 shots of vodka in total and that was from waking up right through to Claire inviting everyone she could think of. Alex grabbed a glass of wine and escaped into her study for a breather from everyone. She sat on he edge of her desk and downed the wine as fast as she could.

“Alex.” A voice called from out in the Hall.

“I’m in the study.” Alex shouted, she felt herself slowly losing her balance.

The door opened and revealed Claire. “What can I do for you Miss Redfield.”

“I wanted to see how you was doing.”

“I’m fiiine.” Alex slowly started to slur her words. She tried to stand up as proof but slipped and landed bum first on the floor.

“Let me help you.” Claire jogged over to give the older woman a hand.

“Get off of me.” Alex tried to push the redhead away.

Claire tried to ignore the blonde and managed to pull her to her feet. Alex finally went with it. In the drunken state she was in, she wobbled a bit and her face was now inches away from the redheads. Slowly leaning in she kissed Claire on the lips but pulled back fast.

“I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have.” The blonde turned away and was about to leave when she felt a hand grab her wrist and pull her back in.

“Don’t be.” Claire said before pulling Alex in for another kiss.

Lost in the moment Alex pushed the younger woman against the desk. She pushed piles of paper work off on to the floor so the redhead could lay down on it. They both took in turns at ripping each other’s clothes off.

“Carla. I see you was invited.” Ada said walking over with Leon with a glass of wine in each hand. “I thought you might be thirsty.”

“Your instincts were right. I’ve just finished a glass.” Carla held up the empty glass after downing the last drop.

“How’s Helena and Deborah?" Ada asked.

“They’re fine. Why don’t you ask them they should be around here somewhere.” Carla downed more wine. “Look could you just excuse me. The bathrooms calling, unless you want to help me.” The blonde couldn’t help but laugh at her own joke.

Carla pushed the bathroom door open quite roughly. She clung onto the wall as best she could until she reached the sink . She turned the cold tap on and threw water onto her face them grabbing a towel to dry herself with. When she removed it she nearly jumped up to the ceiling.

“Helena.”

“Sorry Miss Radames or can I call you Carla?”

“Carla’s fine. We’re not in school. What can I help you with?”

“Well you were looking a little out of it so I wanted to see how you were doing.”

The bathroom started to spin, making the blonde tumble onto the young girl. Helena helped the older woman down onto the toilet seat.

“How you feeling?” The young girl asked. She stroked a few blonde hairs back behind the older woman’s ear.

Carla looked up to see genuine concern on the girls face. She locked onto Helena’s eyes as if in a trance, she felt herself moving forward. Realisation suddenly set in for what was about to happen next, she tried to put her hand to her mouth but was too late. Helena couldn’t speak the person she had feelings for had just thrown up all over top.

“Carla.” Helena screamed.

“I’m sorry.” Carla apologised grabbing some tissue to wipe her mouth. “Come on I’ll help you clean up.”

“Have you seen Claire?” Moria asked around.

Everyone shook their heads except for one person.

"I think she headed towrds the study.: Ada explained.

"Ok thanks for that." Moira smiled.

The young girl walked on towards the study. She pushed the door open but before she could look inside the room, a scream was heard. Shutting the door fast, she ran back to see what was going on.

"Oh god my waters have broke." Rachael screamed.

Jill nearly dropped the bottle of beer she was holding.

Everyone watched as both Gina and Jill took the blonde out to the car.

Ada turned back to Leon. "I've got a present for you. "

"Ada you didn't need to."

The woman took a long slim gift wrapped box out of her bag and handed it to the younger man. She watched as his face turned from a smile and into shock.

"Ada I don't know what to say." Leon held the pregnancy test up.

"Tell me when the time comes you want the sex to be a surprise." Ada said giving him her signature smirk

"Now that is something we can agree on." Leon smiled putting an arm around Ada.
