The Last Drop, The Lanes
The bar was as normal, Vander was pouring a glass while the Mutts and all of the other customers enjoyed themselves there, his latest customer smiling as he saw the mug that Vander handed over to him, “Thank you.” he told him, barely heard over the crowd before he went to walk through the crowd, as he did so, Vander decided to get curious and woged his hearing and watched as he went to a booth.
“Well, I, uh, suppose that concludes our business, then.” The man of the two said towards him, tossing a bag to him, “Mm. I suppose it does.” The customer said as he looked in and saw what was in there, “Wait… uh, wait a minute.” he muttered, lifting up a coin, “This, uh… uh, this… isn’t what we agreed on, so–” “Well, demand for your wares has dropped since we made our arrangements.” The cheat told him.
“This is the new value.” he said and hearing that, Vander started to walk over, “Uh, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. We, um… we shook on it.” he told the duo before chuckling, not happy, “Ten thousand.” He told the unperturbed pair, “Such are the risk of business.” the man said, “Ten.” The man reminded, “It’s a fair price.” The man said, trying to convince him as he lifted his mug.
“I think you should take it.” he told the customer who was NOT happy, “No, no, no, no. No, no, no, no, no.” he repeated, getting stress which others noticed now, “I can’t do that. I can’t do that!” he snapped, tossing the coins back towards the pair, making the woman finally react and stab a coin with a knife, her black sclera and gold iris making Vander think Canine as she presented the blade at him.
“Make your choice.” she warned, placed the blade on the table, hearing that, the customer started to get nervous while they got confidant, so Vander decided to step in, “You folks need anything?” he asked them, “Leave us.” The man said while the woman kept her eyes on him, “You sure about that?” Vander asked of them, “Sounded to me like–” “Piss off.” The woman snarled, showing some fang.
Clearly she wasn’t as smart as most canines, “Ah.” he said, making it look like he was leaving, but instead going to grab a chair, scraping it on the floor to draw attention as he went to sit down, “I think I know what you need.” he told them, plopping down to sit with them, “You don’t seem to listen, barman–” “A bit of advice.” Vander said, he told them, his Wolf starting to come out as he spoke.
“Don’t threaten the Wolf who pours the drinks.” he warned, cocking his head and making the duo look, seeing every customer was silently watching, every Mutt either having their eyes glow or already woged to their Weredog form, “So you’re Vander.” The man said, trying to seem calm, but his fear was like a skunk stink as things seemed to resume, Vander taking his pipe and going to light the stone in it.
“Wolf of the Underground.” The woman said, a bit more respect in her voice as she spoke, “I expected something… younger.” She said as he shook the match dead and took a puff from his pipe, “We were expecting traders who would honor their word, so I guess we’re all disappointed.” be told them, the woman still staring him down while the man tried to appease, “You got us all wrong, my friend.” he promised.
“We were just… negotiating.” he said, making Vander chuckle, “Now you’re speaking my language.” he told the pair, “How about you just give Huck the rest of what you owe hom, and I’ll let you walk out of here in one piece?” he asked, his eyes haven’t changed as he started them down, the man looking at possible escapes while the woman kept her eyes on the most dangerous man in the room.
“Do we, uh… have a deal?” he asked of them, offering his pipe to the woman, her seeming to think before huffing, taking the pipe from him to take a puff and coughing at the taste, “This is vile.” she snarled, hating the taste and the smell, “You’ll learn to love it.” Vander promised to her when he got a whiff of his kids coming in, Vi seeing him see her and looking away, “Welcome to the Lanes.” he said before going to follow.

Basement, The Last Drop
Vi fell down onto her chair as Claggor tossed off his goggles and Mylo put his feet on the box, “Vander learns none of this.” Vi warned towards them, “No worries there. It’s all junk now.” Mylo said, “Hey! I got it back! And some water isn’t gonna ruin everything!” she snapped, lifting the bag, before dropping it, angry at the boy, “You don’t get it. You’re older, you’re bigger.”
“It– it isn’t fair you’re blaming me.” she snapped, “So stick with us! Take a punch or two.” Mylo told her before the door opened and Vander saw three of his kids all bruised, Vi already healing while Powder and a bag full of what he assumed was loot were soaked to the bone, the two girls looking away from his eyes, “Everyone all right?” he asked of them, “Never better.” Mylo lies to him.
“Good.” he told them as he continued to walk down, “I don’t suppose you can explained why it is that I’m hearing about an explosion and a foot chase through Bluewind?” he asked, reaching the bag that was beside a curled up Powder on the couch, “Four children fleeing the scene.” he stated from the info a few Mutts had told him, the man stopping at the edge while Vi tried to look anywhere but Vander.
“What the Hell were you thinking?” Vander asked of Vi, “That we can handle a real job.” She told him, “A real job?” Vander asked, “We got our own tip, planned a route, nobody even saw.” Vi tried to tell him, “You blew up a building.” he reminded of the teenager, “That wasn’t–” “Did you ever stop yo think what could happen to you?” Vander asked of the girl who looked away, giving him the answer.
“Eh? To them?” The Wolf said, pointing to the trio who were looking anywhere but the pair, Vi had no answer, so instead she looked away, making Vander sigh as he rubbed his temples, “Where did you even get this tip?” he asked of the group, wondering who was stupid enough to endanger his kids, the older kids looking away, but Powder answered, “We just heard it at Benzo’s shop.” The girl explained.
“From?” Vander asked her, making Powder look to him, conflicted, “Little Man.” The youngest answered, making Vander sigh heavily until Vi stood up, “I took us there. If you wanna be mad, be mad at me. But you’re the one who always says we have to earn our place in this world.” She told him, it reminding the man of her father and how he always made sure to shoulder The Sump after he lost his brother.
But that also was what got him in plenty of fights until he and Felicia finally got together, “I also told you time and time again, the Northside’s off–limits.” he warned towards them, “We stay out of Piltover’s business and they stay out of ours.” Vander reminded her, “Why?” Vi asked of him, “They’ve got plenty, while we’re down here scraping together coins doing work for them.” she snapped.
“When did you get so comfortable living in someone else’s shadow?” Vi asked of him and hearing that, all of them were taken back by that comment, there being a moment of silence before Vander spoke, “Everyone out.” he told the trio who went to do as much as fast as they could upstairs, “Sit down.” Vander ordered, “I’m fine.” Vi told him, “Sit. Down.” Vander told her, making sure it WASN’T a request in his tone.
Sighing in annoyance, Vi went to sit down while he moved to do the same, sitting on the table in front of her, Vander taking a breath, thinking before he spoke, “Thos kids look up to you, like how your parents and– and others looked up to me.” Vander said to her, “Yeah, I know.” Vi told him, resting her head on her hand, remembering a story her mom told her when she was alive about The Underlords.
“You know, but you don’t know.” Vander said towards her, “When people look up to you, you don’t get to be selfish.” Vander explained, “I’m not–” “You say run, they run.” Vander interrupted her, “You say swim, they dive in. You say light a fire, they show up with oil.” Vander told her, making it start to sink in, “But whatever happens, it’s on you.” He told Vi who looked down, letting the words mull in her head.
“Just like it’s on me what happens to us down here now that it’s just me and him left.” Vander said, muttering the last part, since neither girl was old enough and even then, no Shark, they didn’t have their responsibilities just yet, but hopefully they would be ready when they’re old enough, “We make ourselves a problem for Piltover, and they will send the enforcers with Hounds.” He warned her.
“So? Why answer to them? They treat us like we’re servants but these are our streets. We made them from Blisters and Bedrock. Someone should remind them of that.” “You’re not hearing me. That path?” Vander said towards her, going to grab her hand, the wrappings around her knuckles still bloody, “This? It’s not going to solve your problems. Just makes more of them.” He warned, his eyes glowing as he said that.
Vi though looked at her knuckles and thought on that, “We clear?” he asked his daughter while he went to tear out the cork of a bottle and spitting it out so that he would be able to help with the healing, “How’d you get this?” he asked as she scoffed, “Some idiot with Prongs was following us, he didn’t fight though.” Vi told him, “With Milo? Who?” he asked, knowing the boy was level headed like his brother.
“I don’t know. He was after the stuff.” She said, pointing towards the bag, “I’ll bring it to Bosa, he’ll hide it, make sure no one can tie it to you and to what happened up there.” Vander said, the Whale liking the girls, saying that they reminded him of Felicia when she was their age, “You’re gonna have to lay low for a bit, understand?” he asked of her, “Okay.” Vi said, almost a whisper before she looked into his eyes again.
“We’re gonna be fine, right?” she asked of him, “I’ll take care of it.” Vander promised to her before he went to get up, grabbing the bag in question and grabbing a few things as well, “Oh, you did put that idiot on his ass, though, right?” He asked the pinkette, making her smirk, “Didn’t even woge.” she told him, making Vander chuckle, proud of that before going to head up.

Ferran Quarters, The Last Drop
Mylo had taken the little horn off the door and went to inspect his nails, trying to appear nonchalant like Claggor who was sitting on the stairs, “Get up, Claggor.” The Wolf said, closing the door, “We’re going out.” The older man ordered, “Wait, now?” The larger boy asked while Vander took the horn from Mylo, “Hey, hey, that’s mine!” he whined towards the man, “You wanna be treated like adults, right?” he asked.
The older man throwing the bag to Claggor who barely caught it, “Then you should know better than to come back from a job after making such a mess.” he told the now upset boy as Vander walked up and past Claggor, “I’m gonna have a little word with your informant.” he told Claggor as they headed towards the side exit into the rest of Zaun to try and clear this all up.

The Lanes, Entresol Level
“All right, give me the details of exactly what happened up there.” he told Claggor as they proceeded to move, as they did so, the pair didn’t notice that Powder was at a chute, finding some more junk that got stuck in there, she went to pocket it for building materials when the girl realized that she had something already in there, pulling it out, Powder saw that it was one of the blue crystals, smiling, she headed back in.

Basement, The Last Drop
Closing the door, Powder had excitedly ran down the steps, reaching there and hearing their conversation, “She’s a problem.” Mylo told Vi, “Mylo, I’m really not–” “Do you remember what was in that bag?” Mylo asked as Powder decided to listen into their conversation, watching them, “Bosa would have gotten us the biggest payout we’ve ever seen and she dropped it in The Wharf water.” he said, throwing a ball at the pipes.
“She got the bag back, plus we could have sold the metals.” Vi told him, “Name one time she hasn’t made a mistake like this.” He asked of an annoyed Vi as he threw the ball, making Powder flinch, “She’s young.” Vi defended, “Don’t bullshit me.” he said towards her, “You were twice the person at half her age.” he said towards her, making Vi get fed up, enough that her Bear slip and smell that Powder was there.
Realizing that, Vi decided to give both the truth, “That’s cause my Bear got out early, and you wanna know something, Mylo? Powder’s not me.” Vi said to him, making the blue haired girl start to get upset, “You don’t have to tell me twice.” Mylo said, throwing the ball again and as he did, Powder started to back away, upset, picking this up, she spoke fast now, “She also doesn’t complain about everything.” Vi said.
That made Powder pause, curious and listening while Mylo was confused, “What?” he asked her as he caught the ball again, “And brag nonstop.” the older teen said as she started to get up while her sister started to feel better, “Okay, okay, I see where this is going.” he went, going to throw the ball, but Vi caught it in her paw, “Pick fights with the group when we need to focus.” She added to him.
Starting to crush it while Mylo started to chuckle, “Vi, I–” “And tell stranger on the street that we got a nice haul?” She snapped again, throwing the ball onto the ground while he tried to back away, nervous, “I– I didn’t mean to–” “Powder’s my problem, okay?” she told him before going to point her finger, her claw, in his face, “Your problem is never knowing when to shut up.” Vi told him.
“But I’m gonna help you with that. Ready?” she asked, making Powder look towards them, trying to hold in what she was seeing as Vi pointed towards her own face, “You see this look on my face?” the girl asked of him, “This will ALWAYS mean it’s time to shut up.” The girl snapped at him, getting her Bear back under control as she said this, “But–” he started but she pointed at her face again.
“I–” Mylo tried again but Vi just pointed with both her hands, glowering at the boy and making Powder silently giggle towards her sister, Mylo grumbled and seeing that he was fine for now, Vi took a breath, “I’m gonna check on Powder, alright?” She said and hearing that, Powder went to run upstairs, happy that she had her sister there to defend her at the very least.

Benzo’s, The Lanes
The two arrived at the shop and as they did, Vander looked to the boy, “Nobody comes in.” he ordered of Claggor before taking the bag to walk in and see that Benzo was looking over a device, “We’re closed.” Benzo told him as Vander went to shut the door, “Well, open up.” Vander barked at him, making Benzo look to the man, “For good. You can take you worthless junk elsewhere.” he snapped.
Benzo flipping another glass in to get a better look at his item while Vander groaned, “Just as well. Owner’s the shittiest businessman I know.” he told him, making Benzo look towards him, a tense silence between the pair before they both laughed out loud, Benzo now standing up to reveal the old Wolf tattoo her had on his right forearm before he looked towards Little Man.
“Ekko. what’s going on with that thing?” he asked te child, “Give me a few seconds. The cannon pinion’s still busted.” the boy explained to him, “Finish it later. Vander and I need a word.” Benzo told his ward, “But–” “Uh–uh. Off you go.” He told the child, in response, Ekko threw the wrench onto the ground in annoyance before storming off with boxes that he needed and ran off, Vander opening the door for him.
“Claggor.” Ekko said as he headed outside, “He–he–hey, Little Man.” the two heard before Vander shut the door, “You’re a little early.” The old Greyback told him, “The Mutts are still roundin’ up this month’s collections.” He said, “Won’t have numbers until next, um…” The man started to say before he saw the bag full of trinkets onto the table, a lot of them he recalled from that Piltie boy who he sold to.
“Whoo.” The man said, “Why are you muckin’ about with this?” he asked, seeing a Valdiani, “I assume you’ve heard?” Vander asked of Benzo, “Yeah, me and half the Undercity.” Benzo told him, making Vander sigh, “How could they be so stupid?” Vander asked in annoyance, “The younger folk think it’s the right thing to do.” Benzo said, reminding him of when he and his friends were young and thought they’d win.
“Yeah, and Vi’s one of them.” Vander muttered in annoyance, her father’s stubbornness and her mother’s passion, a dangerous combination, “Throws herself at trouble wherever she can find some.” that made Benzo scoff with some amusement, “Eh, they’re growing up, Vander.” his friend reminded him, “Looking to write their own stories. You can’t protect them forever. They’re gonna need to be who they need to.”
That made Vander sigh towards that, “Milo and some of his boys were following them.” The Wolf said towards him, “Was it some punks, or…?” he started to asked, “I think more than that.” he warned, “And if Milo was involved, it might mean HE was involved, or worse.” he told them, making Benzo curious, “Whose worse than Silco?” the shop owner asked, confused.
“There’s worse things… older things than the enforcers and Hounds out there.” Vander told him, rubbing at his forearm that still had his bracer, still feeling the scars, “We both know that.” The old Wolf told his friend.|“Yeah, I was hopin’ you’d be working today.” Claggor said to Ekko, munching on a snack as the Little Man smacked into the belly of the boy with his boxes.
“Did you guys go?” he asked of Claggor, “Sure did.” the bigger boy said before he asked, “Hey, listen, how did you find that place?” He asked of him, lifting up his goggles and showing his black eye, “I just–” “Who, did you fight the enforcers? Did a Hound do that?” Ekko said towards him with excitement, “What? Oh, no. Eh, just some bums.” He admitted towards Ekko who smiled.
“Oh, did Vi go Grizzly and kick their asses?” He asked with a smile, “Nope, no bear, but I wouldn’t be here otherwise if she didn’t.” he said while Ekko got more excited, “Oh, she showed me a couple moves to practice. Look.” the boy said, giving Claggor the boxes to hold before he he started to throw some fast punches that were not precise, but they were fast and passionate.
“Yeah, it’s… it’s coming along.” Claggor told the boy, he wouldn’t win against any werecreatures, but he’d survive a scrap against anyone in his weight class, “Ya!” He said with excitement, doing an overdramatic punch before getting into a boxing stance, “Hey, so, how’d you find that place, anyway?” Claggor had asked of the boy, making him stop and look towards Claggor now, proud of himself.
“Uh, this weirdo came into the shop.” The boy told Claggor, “Bought a whole bunch of stuff Benzo only keeps there for display.” The child bragged happily, still thinking it was weird before chuckling, “He paid in gold and didn’t even haggle. I charged him double price. Sucker.” Ekko explained with wide eyes and a smile, hoping that he’d be proud of him pulling a fast one on the Piltie.
“But how did you know where he lived?” Claggor asked, offering the boxes back to the boy, “Uh, followed him. How else?” Ekko said, “Oh. right.” Claggor said, putting his goggles back onto his face when they heard the familiar beat of boots from a certain breed of Piltie, “Oh, crap.” Claggor said in worry, the two Enforcers had been walking down, the lead seemed calm and at ease while the second was looking everywhere.
They obviously had no trust of anything there, “Uh…” Claggor said in worry before Ekko pushed him to hide, “They’ll be fine. Go.” The younger boy promised towards him as he made him run away, panicking for a moment, Ekko saw the ride he was working on and decided to lean on it, looking confidant, “Well, hello.” he said with a salute, the lead was focused and didn’t look at him, but the second eyed him.|
Benzo had poured a glass for Vander, the bag and trinkets hidden away in the Bosa Safe as they called it when the pair heard the door starting to open up, making the duo look as Sheriff Grayson and one of her enforcers entered, the older woman taking her mask off as the pair attempted to be calm, “Evening, friends.” Benzo said as the younger man removed his own mask.
“Shit.” Ekko whispered as he looked at them through the window, but Vander just looked into his glass, the younger enforcer had been looking around, he didn’t smell Were, must have been Human from what Vander could smell as the boy went to lean on his other side, trying to appear threatening, but they were used to Wyldermen, “Something I can help you with?” Benzo asked of them both.
“Some trencher trash attacked one of the buildings in the Bluewind Court, but you already knew that.” The young man snapped towards him while Grayson removed her helmet, “We’re looking for the culprits.” She said to him, “Got a description?” Vander had asked of the boy as he took a sip, “Yeah, it’s exactly who you’re picturing in that thick head of yours.” The boy said, but Vander wasn’t at all concerned.
“Mm. You think my head is thick?” Vander asked Benzo who shrugged, “Uh, just when idiots think they can antagonize a Wolf.” He said to his friend, “Listen, you shady son of a–” “How about you go for a little walk, Marcus?” Grayson asked, noticing that Vander was starting to woge, the boy not seeing his, but he did see Grayson’s glow, “Cool off a bit.” She ordered towards Marcus.
He looked at them, seeing how both were ready to become their Beasts, “Go.” Grayson said towards him, giving one last look, his hand on the silver studded baton he had before going to leave, Ekko seeing this went to get into position just as Marcus opened the door, putting the mask back on and not seeing that Ekko climbed up to the second floor and head inside of the building.
He looked down towards them before he found that there was the little scope that he set up and started to twist until the mirrors installed in the eyehole of a mask as he watched, unable to hear anything but able to hear once he hit the pipe on the side.|“Don’t mind the kid.” Grayson said towards the duo, “Doesn’t know when to pipe down.” Grayson warned towards them.
“Some things are the same topside and bottom.” Vander had reminded of the woman, both of them sighing as they each took a drink, “You know this crossed a line upstairs.” Grayson told him, “Was anyone hurt?” Vander asked of her, “A building was blown to bits. What do you think?” She asked, the two of them comfortable with being blunt to each other, but it still made Vander sigh.
“Those who did this will be dealt with.” Vander warned towards the woman, “That workshop belonged to the Foxes.” Grayson had warned, “You know what kind of stuff they had in there?” she asked, “Makes this place look like a candy shop.” she explained towards him, “The Council needs someone to make an example of. People need to feel safe.” Grayson explained to him.
“Yeah, topside people.” Vander growled, his Wolf snapping, protective, “We had a deal, Vander.” Grayson reminded of him, “You and your Mutts keep your people off my streets, and I stay out of your business. Like the old days.” the woman said before taking a moment, “Give me a name. We’ll do things quiet.” She explained to him, “No one will know you were involved and we won’t give Stoirm an opening.”
But instead of agreeing, Vander took the hard choice, “I can’t do that.” he told her, “You don’t seem to grasp how serious this is.” Grayson told Vander, “If I don’t put someone behind bars tonight, the next time I come down here, I’ll have an army of Hounds and Kennels with me.” she warned towards him, “We both know how that’ll go.” she explained while Vander gave a sad look.
“I’m sorry, Grayson, but I can’t offer up my own people.” He reminded her, Benzo giving a look as The Hound took a breath, knowing she wouldn’t get anywhere else with them, “If you change your mind, this will reach me.” she told him, offering a pneumatic tube, “And only me.” She promised to the man before she went to leave, Vander exhaling in annoyance, pressing the tube to his head at the dangers posed now.

Ferran Residence, The Last Drop
Powder had been taking gears, crayons and tools from her trunk and as she did so, the music from the phonograph went hard as she started to make another bomb before hearing a familiar person, “What are you calling this one?” Vi asked, looking in her sisters little workshop from up above it, Powder giving a little smile to her sister before going to work again, “Whisker.” She told Vi.
Seeing she wasn’t going to get more from out there, Vi had went to scoot in, sitting down and looking down at her, “You wanna talk about today?” Vi asked, making Powder shrug, “What’s the point?” She told him, “I didn’t mess up, I didn’t mess up. I got the stuff.” The girl said, wrapping her arms around her legs, “And I’m proud of you for doing that.” Vi said towards her.
“Yeah, but no one else is, everyone wants me to be you since you’re ‘twice the person’ at half my age.” The bluenette said towards Vi, “I heard you guys,” she said, slicking the head in, “I know I’m not a fighter.” Powder said towards her, “That’s right, you’re not.” she told Powder who brought the bomb to her head, hitting her head with it while Vi had looked down at her fists.
“Look, I’ve got these and you’ve got those.” She reminded her, tapping on some of the little tools she’s made, “They never work.” Powder reminded of her, “They will.” Vi promised towards her before she had an idea, smiling as she had an idea, “Come with me.” The older girl told her sister, “What?” Powder asked, “Come on.” Vi told her sister, making the girl curious as she went to follow after her.
______________________________________________________________________
Powder had followed her sister to the roof, confused on what was going on as Vi went to sit on the ledge, so she rushed over to sit down as well, looking around in curiosity, “What are we doing here?” she asked her sister, “See that gutter running along the canal?” Vi asked, pointing towards the Canal in question, making her curious as Vi had grabbed at a pipe and offered it to her sister.
Guiding her to view through the pipe and towards drunken man there, “That’s where Claggor got his foot struck running from enforcers.” Vi said to him as the drunk man went to piss in said canal, “They thought it was funny, so they left him there.” The girl said, her Bear starting to get out, angry at the memory, losing that memory as she recalled what she did, “He was out all night before we found him.” Vi said.
Smiling, she had pointed her to another part, “That sign?” Vi said as she brought it towards the area in question, “You see it?” Vi asked, “Uh–huh.” Powder told her, “Mylo tripped over his own paint bucket and nearly fell off trying to draw a giant middle finger.” The Werecreature said, laughing as the paint was still there, “His ass made that splotch.” Vi said as Powder laughed towards it.
Looking around on her own before Vi pointed to one last spot, “And that?” she said, pointing towards where her stuffed bunny was on the power lines, “When I was a kid, some guy took my favorite toy and threw it up there.” the girl told her, “I used to come out here at night and stare at it, hoping maybe the wind or a bird might knock it down.” she told her sister before frowning towards the memories.
“We’ve all had bad days.” Vi explained, “But we learn. And we stick together.” She told her, wrapping an arm around her little sisters shoulder and smiling at her, Powder returning it happily and as she looked into her sisters eyes, a memory came to mind, “Oh, I forgot.” she told her, going and pulling out the three stones she had, “These were in my pocket.” the girl said as Vi looked at them in surprise.
“They’re from the apartment.” Powder said while Vi was confused, “What are they?” the older girl asked, making Powder bring one closer to examine, “I don’t know.” Powder admitted, “Should we show Vander? Sell them to Bosa?” Powder asked, liking the Whale, he was nice, “No.” Vi told her, confusing her and making Powder lose her smile, which Vi noticed and tried to explain.
“Let’s keep this our little secret.” Vi asked, making Powder smile wider towards her sister, “Mylo’s wrong, Powder.” The Bear told him, “You’re stronger than you think.” she said, going to stand up to look over all of Zaun, “And one day… this city’s gonna respect us.” Vi told the girl, the two of them looking out towards everything and as they did, Powder knew that her sister would change everything.

Silco’s Lair, Factorywood
Deckard had been thrown into a chair, almost hitting the bald cat that was lying on the floor as the boy panicked scared, looking at all of the menacing adults, Gustove and Dustin keeping him on the chair as he panicked, looking to the Doctor, the cat, everything until Duston held his head up with a billy club, “You were supposed to follow them and not interfere.” Silco said as his nephew Milo helped prepare the syringe.
“I’m sorry.” Deckard said with a grunt, “They just caught us by surprise.” he said to Silco, making him look to Milo, “Is this true?” he asked him, “No.” Milo said, “He got overeager, I wanted to ingratiate myself, make them trust me.” Milo said, “Now his accomplice is asking questions about you.” Silco snapped, unamused with the boy, “That’s not a rusk I’m willing to take.” he said, trusting Milo with the vial he took.
Deckard getting scared while the two of them worked on his medicine, “The kids. It was their fault, the explosion in the upper city.” he pleaded, making Him pause, “That was them?” he asked of Milo who nodded, “The Kirraman I hooked helped verify. Now enforcers are out looking for them.” Milo said towards Silco who was testing his eye from where Prongs injected him, “Vander’s in trouble.” Silco told them.
He was already starting to woge, appearing more like a stag as he turned towards the nervous boy, “Smartest thing you ever said, boy.” he said, the two Stag approaching, “Get him a meal.” Silco told them, making Milo nod towards that as he went to grab a late, “But keep him off the streets.” The man warned them as Silco looked out to the world, “Our timeline has moved up.” Silco told The Doctor.
“It’s almost safe.” The Doctor said to him, looking at a vial, “Show me.” Silco said, making the doctor grab the cat and put it in a cage with a rat, “Feeding time.” he said, dropping it in and locking it, “And the side affects?” he asked as the cat stalked, “Stabilizing.” The Doctor promised him, he went to tap the glass, waking up the rat whic went to consume the shimmer, changing it and showing the monster he wanted, “You have a subject in mind?” The Doctor asked, “Someone just volunteered.”
