08. That Kind Of Day
episode two , woe is the loneliest number.
WEDNESDAY ADDAMS wasn't one to negotiate often, but if there was something out to kill her, she wanted to find it. Of course, she had to bring her newest companion along, Josephine. "If Weems comes sniffing around, keep your distance, look grim, and don't say a word." The raven haired girl spoke in her usual monotone voice.
"Payback is going to be a bitch." Enid spoke with a glare, she looked at Josephine. Who had a notepad, pen and large square glasses, Enid had never realized she need them. She must have contacts.
"I'd expect nothing less." Wednesday spoke directly to Enid, who was wearing the all white protective gear. "Blab and I will squeeze you like a honeycomb." Wednesday said as she turned to the little bee keeper, Eugene.
"Snitches get stung. It's hive code." Eugene clarified. "Besides, I should be thanking you. This is the most girls I've ever had in the shed." Eugene said before explains further. "Other than bees."
"Shocking." The older girl said sarcastically.
"I've always had a thing for werewolf chicks." Eugene said, oblivious to Wednesday's sarcasm.
"The chance that Enid ever becomes romantically interested in you is less than one-percent." Wednesday explained, as she held onto Josephine's hand (who couldn't be more in her own thoughts).
"So I've still got a shot?" Eugene said hopefully. "Yes!" He cheered. As Wednesday and Josephine left they overheard Eugene talking to Wednesday. "In ancient times, honey was used to treat wounds and in sacrificial burial rites. Cleopatra was rumored to bathe in honey. It gave her skin a luminous glow." Eugene stopped for a moment before asking a question. "Do you ever taken a honey baths?"
"I just don't wanna get stung!" Enid said squealing with fear.
"The key is to remain calm. Bees detect fear, but you don't need to worry. Because I have a very big smoker, and I handle it like a pro." Eugene said proudly as Josephine let out a few chuckles. "Do you want to see it?" Eugene asked as Josephine let out a fit of silent giggles. Wednesday looked at her, it almost looked like the way Gomez (her father) looked at Mortisha (her mother), but almost is the key word.
As Wednesday and Josephine were walking, hands interlocked, they came across the scene of the crime. The two of them were pushed into a tree, Josephine looked around with a look Wednesday couldn't entirely decipher. Josephine pushed Wednesday behind her and looked around only to see Tyler, covering her mouth. Josephine looked at him bitterly.
"Sorry, I didn't want Elvis to pick up on your scent." Tyler spoke as he stared lovingly at Josephine. He gripped her arm as she tried to wiggle out of his grip. Josephine practically kicked him before she was able to get out of his grip.
"How did you get them off our trail?" Wednesday said, subconsciously fussing over the bruise that was forming on Josephine's arm. Where Tyler had been holding her arm.
"Ugh," Tyler started staring at Josephine's behind as they walked away, "coffee grounds, deer hunting trick. One of the perks of being a part-time barista." Tyler spoke as Josephine surveyed the area and wrote down a few things before looking at Wednesday.
"I assume your father didn't bring the bloodhound to play fetch." Wednesday spoke as she interlocked hers and Josephine's hands. Wednesday rubbed the brunette's knuckles in flaunt circular motions.
"He doesn't tell me shit." Tyler spoke before looking around, he was looking at the back of Josephine's head. "You must think it's weird I'm stalking him." Tyler spoke, maybe if he impressed Wednesday, than Josephine would get back with him.
"No, I consistently stalk my parents." Wednesday spoke as she looked back down at the moss-leaf covered floor.
"Hey, wait, what really happened the other night at the festival?" Neither of the girls responded, so he added a sprinkle of "Look, I swear I won't say anything to my dad." Josephine didn't say anything, but Wednesday pondered for a moment.
"I thought Rowan was in danger. Turns out I was wrong. Then he proceeded to use his telekinesis to try and choke me to death. Then Josephine saved me, she stopped him and the monster from committing a crime." Wednesday explained, not including the part where Josephine 'lead Rowan on'.
"Holy shit. Wh-Why would he do that?" Tyler asked as Josephine furrowed her eyebrows, why did he care so much?
"I don't know; that's why I'm here." Wednesday snapped, an awful (not the good kind of awful) taste in her mouth. "I came here to find something that can prove he was murdered and that we haven't lost our minds; yet." Wednesday explained, this is formation wasn't to valuable.
Josephine left Wednesday's side to look at something. She once again grabbed her hair stuck and waved hit up, it showed some blood on a leaf. "This has to be someone's. Josephine signed (to the best of her abilities with one hand.

Wednesday pushed Josephine into a wall their bodies flush against Wednesday's from wall. Enid thankfully was too pre-occupied to bother with going back to the dorm. "What was that?" Wednesday practically growled as she looked at Josephine, who seemed to have no signs of fear.
"Magic." Josephine signed as Wednesday pushed harder. "I'm a witch." Josephine explained as Wednesday felt a gust of wind go past her. Josephine turned as Wednesday looked at the magic that went past her, it was an animal shadowing blue and teal colors. It was a dog, running around and in between Wednesday's legs. It was a one-year-old Great Dane. Wednesday almost smiled at the puppy, it looked like Josephine. It had the same chocolate colored fur, and it almost had glasses like marks, they were oddly square.
"Is that how you froze the monster and Rowan?" Wednesday asked as she saw Josephine smile. "Is it why you don't talk, as well?" Wednesday asked as Josephine nodded.
"Part of it." Josephine signed, Wednesday leaned against the wall. She smirked and leaned towards Josephine. Suddenly, Wednesday's head flung back and she was sent into a vision.
It was in the boy's dorms at nevermore, and there was someone yelling"...my new desk, you psychopath!" It was Xavier who was yelling. "Speaking of that, you creep people out!" Who he was yelling at, Wednesday didn't know.
"You know..." the other boy spoke softly, he turned his head and it was Rowan. Wednesday could see his face clearly.
"Unbelievable." Xavier spoke scoffing as he turned around, he faced Wednesday (though he couldn't see her)
"I did." Rowan spoke quietly.
"You're crazy!" Xavier yelled again as Rowan threw Xavier to the wall with his telekinesis. There was a loud bang and Wednesday was back in the real world. She was in Josephine's arms, who was looking at her with a concerned expression. They were on Wednesday's black and grey bed, it was soft (most people would assume that she like hard mattresses, but Wednesday just couldn't sleep on a hard mattress. But she could sleep in a coffin, if needed).
"Are you alright?" Josephine asked, her eyes filled with concern.
"I'm alright, Cara Mia." Wednesday said with a look, that was almost a smile.
