Sua’s Light
Sua never believed she would be anything but a pet to anyone. Every day in Anakt Garden was the same: eat, sing, study, and sleep. But now, there was a disruption to that cycle each day, a beautiful one for sure.
The pink beauty—mizi would always try to talk to her. Eventually, it was a normalized event. And soon, it was something Sua looked forward to.
Eat, sing, Mizi, study, sleep.
Unfortunately, the schedule wasn’t always so linear as she hoped it would be. Those other mean kids would interrupt her at times,
“Hey loser! What cha’ got there, huh?” One little boy approached her.
“Uh, this is for my friend…” She mumbled.
“Friend?! Hah! You hear her, she says she has friends!” The kids laughed loudly, soon snatching the pair of flowers that were in her hands.
“Hey! Give it back—”
And before she could fight for the flowers, they were crushed in the kids’ hands and stepped on.
Sua slowly broke into tears, and the kids’ laughter strengthened.
“Nobody like her would have any friends!” She would often hear.
“loser,” She would be called. But was she a loser when the pink-haired girl always stepped up to her defense?
“Leave her alone!” A strong voice spoke up.
Sua looked up to be met with the radiant presence of Mizi, who looked fierce as ever in front of those monsters.
“Believe it or not, Sua is stronger than all of you! And she is not a loser!” Mizi held Sua’s hand tightly.
“Oh yeah? What are YOU gonna do??”
“I’ll…I’ll tell all of your aliens you’re acting bad!!” Mizi pointed at them.
Their smiles were suddenly washed down into frowns of fear, “Wait— No—”
“I’ll do it!!” She threatened.
The monsters were then gone out of their sight within seconds.
“Thank you…” Sua confidently stood up to her light, her savior, Mizi.
“It’s no problem, they should’ve known better.” Mizi struck a smile at Sua.
“I’m sorry, the flower crown I had for you…” She frowned at the petals scattered on the ground, “They ruined it…”
“It’s okay, Sua, because we can make much, much more than just one flower crown!” Mizi spoke with excitement.
“Really? You forgive me?”
“Of course! We could make millions of them—oh! We should start now!”
Sua then found herself hand in hand with Mizi, running at the speed of light through the wind. That day, when they were making as many flower crowns as they could, she was the happiest she had been in a while. It was like all evil had faded when Mizi was there.
That pink angel.
Another sunny day at Anakt Garden, Sua was looking forward to hanging out with Mizi, but once again, her scheduled hours with her were interrupted. This time, it didn’t result in her tears, but in her anger.
She stood close to a tree, watching as Mizi held Till by the hand, just like she did with Sua. Standing up for Till, just like she did with Sua. But what truly boiled her blood was the way Till smiled at Mizi. That disgusting, wide smile of his, with his disgusting red cheeks. Who wouldn’t smile like that at her, though? Mizi was like a pink angel.
But Mizi was Sua’s pink angel.
