CHAPTER 1- PROLOGUE?

The Kageyama siblings. At least that's what their group chat was called. There are three of them, Miwa, the eldest child. Hana, the middle. And Tobio, the youngest. They all had similar sharp features, Tobio more than his sisters. All three of them had black hair they inherited from their mother, the sisters almost looked like twins. Especially after Miwa cut her hair short. Although Hana’s was longer, just barely reaching her shoulders while Miwa's ended just past her chin.

The three of them were closer to each other then they were with their parents. Not because they were bad parents, they were alright. Mr. and Mrs. Kageyama spent a lot of time abroad because of their job. Leaving them to grow up with their grandfather, Kazuyo Kageyama.

The old man played a huge role in their life and was a massive influence, especially to Tobio. All three of them had a….. Area they excelled in if you will.

Miwa was excellent in art related hobbies, especially fashion and hair dressing. Which is why she chose to become a hairdresser and make-up artist. having finished cosmetology school.

Hana was really good in academics, especially literature. She found English to be a fascinating language. Which is why she is an English literature student. And writing her own English novel, though no one but her siblings know about it.

Tobio was amazing when it came to sports. More specifically volleyball. Although all three of the siblings played the sport, he was the most passionate about it. Both of his older sisters quit after a while of playing but to him, the sport runs on his mind constantly.

Kazuyo Kageyama was an alumnus of Shiratorizawa Academy, a school popular for it’s….well everything. Academics, sports and arts. When the three kids were young he would often take them to the school during afternoon training and teach them to play volleyball. All three of them loved the sport but the two sisters just didn't feel as strong for it as their brother did.

Miwa quit volleyball during her first year of middle school because of an unspoken rule that all female players should cut their hair short. And at the moment she just wasn't ready for that kind of commitment yet.

Hana had no problem cutting her hair. She preferred her hair short, however when she noticed her grades declining in her first year of high school, that's when she quit, and joined the student council instead during her second year.

It was a shame really, the two girls were really talented players and would often compete with their brother, and would often win since they had a lot more experience than him.

When Tobio was in the first year of middle school their grandfather passed away and the sisters took on the responsibility to watch over Tobio when their parents were away.

It was challenging the first few years since they themselves were students back then, Miwa being in her final year of high school and Hana just starting high school. But they made it work. All 3 of them shared responsibilities and divided chores. And when it came to buying the basic necessities, their parents would send them money monthly.

And now here they were, Miwa working as a hairdresser and makeup artist, Hana in her first year of college and Tobio officially a high school student.
