Join Us and Die
The classroom door slammed open, causing everyone to jump as they looked over. Alix’s eyes widened. "Nath?! Marc?!"
Marc walked in, his hair strewn due to the lack of his hair tie. He was followed by Nathaniel, grinning almost maniacally. "It is time..." The noirette’s head jolted up, revealing his just as manical grin. "TO DI-IE!" He scream-sung while Nathaniel just head-banged.
“Oh, God no,” Kim paled.
Seeing her go forward, Alix grabbed Rose and pulled her backwards, away from the slowly advancing musical number.
"Sorry to interrupt! But we got bones to pluck! The time for chaos is long past overdue!" They figured that Marc was the singer for this song while Nathaniel was just his hype man.
The two kept walking closer as Marc sung, a step taken for each line. "Death isn't optional! In fact, it's optimal! Your time is up and now we go through you!”
Nathaniel went to one half of the class, yelping as they managed to stumble away and back up together to one side of the room. Marc stood closer to the other half as he continued singing. "We tried to convince you through soliloquy!" He pumped his fist into the air. "But now we'll kill you with more than harmonies!”
"JUST DIE!“
Myléne clung to Ivan in fear as both Marc and Nathaniel sang the next part together. Their voices were so high and creepy, making everyone’s skin crawl and making Alix shiver in place. "Join us and die. Join us and die. Join us and die. All you gotta do is-"
Nathaniel turned to face Myléne, Ivan, Kim, and Max, while Marc turned to face Alix, Alya, Nino, Rose, and Juleka, both following identical choreography. "Join us and die. Join us and die. Join us and die. All you gotta do is-!”
Kim, Nino, and Alya attempted to make a break for it, only to get caught by the singers, who corralled them into the middle of the room.
"Here's how it’s gonna go: we're gonna kick your ass! And then we're gonna-"
"Fucking kick your ass!" Marc pointed to the group that tried to escape before running towards them, causing them to back away to their group.
"We're gonna puke all that goo into your mouth where your food! And all your cells will renew and be enhances!”
As Marc sung that last line, everyone tried to make a break for the door, but one group broke off to one side while the rest broke off to the other side. Now they had Marc and Nathaniel keeping them separated on other sides of the room.
"It's a death-like process that you gotta see!" Marc sang aggressively while Nathaniel harmonized. “Your own body is your front-row seat! TO DIE!”
“Join us and die. Join us and die. Join us and die. All you gotta do is-“
They kept singing it, inching closer towards Juleka and Nino. Alya held onto her boyfriend tight.
"No!” Rose cried and tried to go after them, only to be held back by Kim.
“Snap out of it!” Alix yelled.
“Join us and die. Join us and die. Join us and die. Join us and...”
With an powerful shove, Marc pushed Juleka out the way and snatched Nino right out of Alya’s grip.
"Punch it! Squeeze it! Crush it! Kill it! Ride it! Drag it! Wind it up, kick its nuts!" With every announcement, Marc and Nathaniel started beating up Nino, not holding back at all.
It took a lot out of Nino, and he was covered in bruises already starting to form. He even had a cut on his cheek where Marc had punched him.
Nathaniel grinned and turned to Alya and Juleka, who were checking on Nino. "Here's how it's gonna go-!”
Then there was a distinct bzzz sound, and Nathaniel’s eyes bulged before he dropped to the floor. Everyone looked to see Ladybug standing at the doorway with her YoYo, surrounded by electricity and acting as a taser.
Marc let out an impressive high note as a battle cry before running at her. Chat Noir popped out from behind his partner and whacked Marc on the head, knocking him out.
“Oh my God!” Alix cried, as she checked up on her unconscious friend. “You guys knocked him out cold!”
“Wrong, Pinky!” Chat Noir exclaimed, using his nickname for Alix.
“You hit Marc on the head with your staff,” Max said, gesturing to the noirette on the floor.
“I hit a charlatan!” Chat Noir corrected. “The second Nathaniel forced that purple slime into Marc’s mouth, your friend was gone as soon as he started singing. Same thing must’ve happened to Nathaniel.”
