Mikumo did NOT ask for this chaos. It was all Haru’s fault, if Mikumo wasn’t as gullible and stupidly loyal to him as he was, this would never have happened. But here they were, running from the police.
Let’s rewind a bit.
Why, you might ask, were they running from the police? Haru had thought it was a good idea to steal a bike, a fucking bike. Both Mikumo and Haru used the subway, they didn’t need a goddamn bike!
The day had started off normally. Mikumo had woken up, had his daily cup of coffee, and managed to actually finish his homework before school. Then, Haru had come to his apartment, followed by the fucking police, and asked for help. Of course, this had gotten Mikumo in his mess as well.
And now here they were, running from the police, jumping over dumpsters and most likely abandoned cars, through the graffiti covered alleyways. All those years practicing parkour really paid off.
“Why,” Mikumo panted as he ran, “did you even need a bike?”
”I promised Yui I’d get her one!”
”That homeless girl you’ve been bringing food lately, you simp?”
”I-I promise, it’s not like that!” Haru waved his hands in front of his face, “She just needs help, and I happen to be able to help her!”
”Relax, I’m just kidding,” Mikumo easily jumped over a dumpster. “What does she need a bike for, anyways?”
”I don’t know! Probably to get to places, that’s what bikes are for!”
”If you don’t know what she needs it for, should you really be stealing one for her? Who knows, she might be a murderer or something and need a bike for moving the bodies.”
”Shut your paranoid ass up! I know her well enough to know she’s not like that!”
”Ok, whatever you say. But, if you get murdered, I’m not paying for the funeral.”
Haru sighed, “Fine, but I won’t get murdered, and we both know that.”
“i Won’T gEt MuRdEreD, aNd We BotH knOW tHaT,” Mikumo mimicked.
Haru was about to say something, before he tripped over a rock and lost his balance.
“Shit!” Mikumo turned around. “At this rate, the cops will catch us, you fucking clumsy idiot!”
Mikumo grabbed Haru’s arm in an attempt to help him regain is balance, but it mostly just slowed both of them down.
”We can’t outrun them, we’ll just have to hide somewhere and hope they pass us!” Haru panicked. “There! That building, the one with the crowd around it! We’ll be able to blend in with the people there!”
I wonder what’s going on, Mikumo thought, an even of some sort? Whatever, at least Haru’s plan is solid.
“Fine, but don’t trip over anything.” Mikumo agreed.
Haru dove into the crowd, pulling Mikumo along with him. As they wove through the people, Mikumo’s curiosity increased.
Finally, they were inside. There were way less people inside, and most of them were heading towards a doorway with a sign near it.
”Let’s go the other direction, then no one can tell the police they saw us. Since it’s just a small bike robbery, they’ll give up soon!” Hary suggested.
”Fine, but one sec. I wanna go check something...”
Mikumo neared the sign, and could finally read what it said.
”Auditions for the My Hero Academia Live Action? What kind of shitty movie let’s random people on the street audition?”
