"I did the extension essay for potions, almost ten pages."
Marlene grabbed their face to shut them up, before pulling away with a grin, "So did I. But I managed eleven pages."
"What about charms? Flitwick wrote me a recommendation for an internship this summer."
"I spent the entire weekend helping him with research for some book he's writing. So he gave me the same recommendation."
Dorcas kissed Marlene one more time before pulling away, "Guess I'll see you this summer, Mckinnon."
Marlene flicked her eyes up to Dorcas, "We've got an essay in Transfiguration due on Monday. I'll see you in the library?"
"I'll be there early in the morning. With all the best reference books."
Marlene laughed slightly, kissing Dorcas again before pulling the handle of the small supply room open, and stepping into the hallway.
Dorcas grabbed Marlene by the wrist, pulling her back into the shadowed room for a moment.
Quickly leaving one more kiss on her lips, Dorcas smirked, "I've got quidditch practice now. You should tell Potter to book in more practice if you want a chance to beat me."
Marlene titled her head with a smile, "Please, I can beat you anyday."
They came out the room, hand in hand, Dorcas' finger stroking Marlene's.
As the light hit them, they quickly parted.
"Meadowes", Marlene glared.
Dorcas returned it, "Mckinnon."
They turned, walking away from each other. Just before they turned the corner, the two looked back with an eager gaze.
They looked away.
