Until death do us part
"We're both making it out here alive, I don't care if I have to drag you out of here."
Dani looked up at Jamie who was shaking her in order to keep her awake. Dani looked into Jamie's eyes, seeing the love they would always hold for her and began to stand with assistance from the brunette.
Jamie didn’t know what to do if she had to come out of here without any single one of them, but the thought of leaving here without Dani, almost killed her, it wasn’t something she wanted to dwell on.
"Come on, love, you still gotta get us out of this."
"You're lucky I think you're cute. I'd have blasted you out of here."
"But then I wouldn't be able to do this."
Jamie placed her hands on Dani's neck reaching forward to close the space between them. But Jamie still felt the weight of the ring in which she handed managed to take out of her pocket.
"That reminds me...I was going to do this before the whole "go to hell" ordeal but now seems like a good a time as any. Dani Clayton, I love you with everything I have and so much more and you deserve the world, I know that I might not be able to offer you the world, but I can offer you the power of dumbassery in its place. Before you I didn't think that I was even capable of finding someone who would love and see me for me.” Jamie looked at Dani knowing that the next thing to leave her lips would be the truest thing she had ever admitted to the blonde. “Then I met you and you turned my life upside down. And I would go to hell and back...quite literally, for you. So Dani Clayton, the love of my life, will you marry me and make me the happiest woman in the world by becoming my wife?"
Dani didn't even need to answer. She responded by pushing Jamie into the nearest wall and giving her the most love, passion and joy filled kiss she could manage.
Jamie laughed and smiled in the kiss taking that as a yes as she placed the ring on the blondes finger.
"However, you have impeccable timing for proposing at the gates of literal hell."
And after laughing and smiling so much their jaws began to hurt so much they began their decent into hell.
Making their way to Hell. Quite literally. Dani had done many strange things in her life this would probably trump them all. But as they got to the gates, Jamie's hand snuck into Dani's, a tether, almost as if a child had been scolded by their parents.
The brunette gave her hand a quick squeeze before whispering "it's going to be okay" before they walking hand in hand through the doors.
"Dani Clayton. We've been expecting you."
The blonde looked around trying to find where the estranged voice had come from. Owen and Hannah behind them. Owen walking carefully with a frying pan in hand and Hannah clutching onto his arm.
"Who are you? What do you want from me?"
"You think that you'll be alone in here? My dear, I'm the king of the underworld. You're in my house now. But we've been expecting you. I know why you're here. Those sweet innocent children. Well, you can have them. Have to say they're rather annoying. They make my attention span look like a pogo stick. And they make God look like a fictional character."
As if on cue the sound of two children screaming for help came back from the background. Owen and Hannah ran to the direction of their voices. Leaving Jamie and Dani to stand in front of the man with his strange position, his eyes focused on the two of them as he figured out his next move.
The strange man who claimed to be king of the underworld just laughed in response causing both Jamie and Dani to look at each other before then looking back at the man with confusion.
"You really thought it was going to be that easy? Oh darling, you have no idea what you're up against."
Jamie took that as an opportunity to change into her wolf. Dani smiled at Jamie and then smirked smugly at the man.
"Nor do you."
Dani watched on as Jamie ran and leaped at the man using claws and paws on the man. Dani projecting her magic in an effort to protect Jamie. But little did they know more creatures were on the way.
The blonde turned around and saw the creatures standing behind her. Casting a spell in efforts to throw them off only made them more angry. She tries fire spells, water spells and none seem to give any joy towards fixing the matter.
“Shit, why didn’t that work…come on, think.”
She needed a different tactic so taking matters into her own hands, she grabbed a metal rod and stabbed the rock like creatures causing them to crumble to the floor.
This action caused them to multiply and Owen came running and screaming in with a frying pan hitting them left, right and center.
Then they all joined forces to find the children whilst Jamie was still handling the man. Owen and Hannah took the children out and ran back towards the car escaping as fast as their legs could carry them.
Dani turned around to face Jamie after ensuring everyone else had gotten out. Dani ran leaping with the metal rod in hand jumping on the man plunging the rod into his heart.
Jamie wrapping her snout and teeth around the legs of the man and shredding him apart limb from limb.
Looking around Jamie could see their job was done and threw Dani on the back of her running as fast as she could to get them both out of there.
---------------------------
It was quiet, Dani pressed her fingers against the ring that currently sat on her finger, Jamie stood in the distance in the garden, pulling up weeds and Intruders within the patch of land.
Flora and Miles running around on the yard and Owen bringing out the occasional platter of food as Hannah also sat with a mug of tea in her hand.
It was peaceful and something in which no one at the manor ever believed they would find again.
They no longer had to deal with Peter, he was long gone, Viola and Perdita still safely locked up and Henry still staying out of their business.
Everything was calm, it was almost as if they had no troubles or worries, nothing could go wrong and for once everything was perfect.
--------------------------
Dani breathed out, white dress flowing from her as she prepared to walk down the aisle, this was about to be the best day of her life, surrounded by the people she loved the most.
The garden was filled with chairs and flower arrangements made by Jamie herself, not trusting anyone to do them as carefully and as brilliantly as she could, Owen laying out the food for the buffet knowing that no one could replace his culinary skills and Hannah checking that everything was in order as the kids were getting ready to trail behind her.
After all of the fighting and differences the fact that for one day they could have peace and love and normality, instead of fighting demons and dealing with ghosts and beating witches at their own game, it was nice to see that the manor could be gentle and calm and that the atmosphere within it could be soothing.
As Jamie stood at the top of the garden looking down the aisle, suit hugging her in all of the right places and Owen standing beside her crying more than anyone else there.
The blonde thought she had never been so happy. As she got to Jamie and the brunette taking her hand and standing in front of her ready to take the next step into their lives.
"Do you take Jamie Taylor to be your lawfully wedded wife?"
"I do."
"Do you take..."
"Yes, hell yeah I do." Jamie interrupted the speaker.
"Well I guess I don't even have to tell you that you can kiss the..."
Jamie once again interrupting the speaker closed the gap between the both of them, smiling into the kiss as she had never been happier, as the cheering from the crowd erupted through the garden the two continued to kiss as if they were the only ones there, the guests…their family, looking on with so much joy and love.
Once upon a time, a long time ago, none of them thought that this would ever have been possible. They had only dreamed of a day such as this, but suddenly it wasn’t only Jamie’s dream coming true, everyone was happy everyone was together.
“Until death do us part.” Dani smiled at Jamie as she extended her hand out for Jamie.
“Are you kidding? Even then you aren’t getting rid of me. You’re stuck with me now, Poppins!”
