IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMNT! (Please read this, otherwise nothing will make sense)
Hey guys,
So, as obvious, I haven't updated in forever even though I truly wanted to.
First, Ramadan started and my family and I fast through it, so it was hard to find any energy to do anything. I also had an infection for a week and a half and it was a pain in the ass. That's not an excuse, but it didn't allow me to write at all.
My school is also back online and my energy is still drained. Usually I have energy after sunset, but since it's Ramadan, my family and I sit together for the rest of the night.
Along with that, my final exams have been announced to start in 3 weeks and will last until the 15th of June. School has been very hard and I haven't been able to understand much in class, so I'm trying to catch up.
That's just what's first. From this announcement, it's probably clear that I won't be able to update for a longer while. I might update once or twice this month though, but I can't make any promises.
I know you guys were excited for the next chapter, I was as well. But I hope you understand that I am trying, it's just hard.
I hope you guys can wait until things calm down and I'm able to write without having to worry about school and have the energy along with it.
HOWEVER!
That doesn't mean I don't carry some exciting news!
The fact that I won't be able to update much is upsetting, but that doesn't mean I'll leave you all empty.
So ready for some good news? Good! There's multiple.
1. I am starting another series!
I don't know if many of you know this, but I made a series I few weeks ago, one about Yuri getting a little sister!
Now, I'm starting another one! This one is an Age Regression series for Yuri On Ice. One where Yuri is a little and he regresses with the other skaters. There will be angst, fluff (lots of it), family, and more!
I remember one reader requested an age regression fic in this book, but I have actually been planning an Age regression series a while before.
So I hope some of you are excited for it! I already have planned 5 parts for the series!
2. I am writing full stories for Yuri On Ice as movie Re-tellings!
Here's what I mean: Let's take the movie Tangled for example. That's when I switch some characters of the movie to characters of Yuri On Ice as well as switch the plot!
So far, I have 5 (soon 6) Re-tellings planned!
And to get you more excited, here are the movies those fics will be inspired by:
*The Little Mermaid
*Ella Enchanted
*Annie (1999)
*Tangled
*Anastasia
Those will be more than one chapter fics obviously, so don't expect them all at once or to be finished quickly. I still have much planning to do. But they will happen!
But here's where you come in! Which Re-telling would you like to see first?
This is a vote now. The Re-telling with the most votes will be written first!
Don't be upset if your choice didn't get first place, all of them will be written, but I wanna know which will get the most excitement.
Hopefully, these fics will be worth it and hopefully you guys enjoy them!
3. This is a small one for those who are keeping up with Yuri's Little Sister series:
I have 5 other parts for the series planned! Full of fluff and very light angst! So I hope you guys are excited for that!
4. Now here's the biggest and most important announcement of today!
As you could all tell, I have received so many requests in this book, SO MANY!
And let me tell you, I was not able to stop myself from screaming of happiness.
When I first started this book, I never thought it would get that many reads, let alone comments! For those who don't know, comments mean so much to me, so seeing all those requests flooding in out of no where left me speechless. I rambled in excitement about it for an hour to my friend!
If you could have seen the smile on my face every time I saw your comments- AAAHHH!
I can't put into words how thankful I am for all the support. I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH! SO SO SO MUCH!
I was honestly expecting one request per reader, but almost each one of you gave more than 5!! I was...shocked is an understatement.
*Insert more praise about how much I love you all*
But anyway, along with all those requests came some complicated situations.
While I am planning on writing almost all requests (I am currently writing them all down in a notebook to keep track) I found it hard to include them all into this specific story.
So here's what I am planning- don't freak out! I promise, nothing bad!
There are requests I could include in the story, but most of them, no matter how hard I tried, couldn't fit into the story correctly.
BUT! BUT!
I am writing them, still!
But I will do it differently.
Now, there are requests that are repeated, either exactly or not. What I mean is this:
Example 1: Two different people recommend the exact same thing, without adding or removing any details.
Example 2: Two different people recommend the same thing, but with different details.
So here's what I am planning on doing:
This book will be part of a series.
Any new work added to the series will work like so: For fics in example one, they will either be mixed together as one request if possible or be a 2 part story in the series. I will obviously gift the work to the ones who requested it, is possible.
As for example 2, it will be made into more than 1 part, it can't be mixed together.
Overall, yes, I will write those requests and I will gift them to all who requested, it just mostly won't be part of this book. Some will be part of this book though.
I hope this isn't bad news.
I honestly wasn't ready for this amount of requests and support, I was taken aback!I got a little overwhelmed and this strategy could help me.
Your requests will be written, I promise. Maybe not EVERY SINGLE ONE, but most will be written.
I'm just making it easier to go through requests for both the readers and for me.
I'm hoping this is good news! Tell me what you think in the comments and rest assured: If some of you aren't happy with this specific announcement, don't worry, I can always try and come up with something different OR I could stick to the original idea and all requests will stay in this one book.
Anyway, that's all I have to announce! I hope that you guys are excited and please bear with me, I don't like not being able to write anything.
