Chapter 5
You woke up feeling...better your body didn't ache it didn't hurt to breathe. Though you noticed weren't just physically better but some how mentally. However you figured it was the fact you were still waking up from your nap.
As you wake up though you see Spinel smiling and crying immediately hugging you before you were fully aware of your surroundings. You looked around confused "Spinel?...are you ok? why are you crying?" but she didn't answer you but she merely held on to you tighter as if you were going to float away.
As your eyes adjusted you then saw Steven looking at you with a guilty look on his face gripping shirt, you frowned knowing out of everyone Steven is usually happy seeing you or at least trys to put a smile on his face for you, "why are you looking at me like that Stev-" your words got caught in your throat as you finally saw your new skin color and started screaming.

Spinel knew you wouldn't want to be healed by Steven (though technically you did agree ...sort of) but seeing you alive Spinel was too overwhelming and hugged you not wanting to let you go. Spinel got her wish having you healthy but most importantly alive again but when you started to scream seeing your new pink skin tone "what happened to me?!" Spinel releases as you pushed her away rather aggressively.

You pull at your now pink hair freaking out hyperventilating "did I die?! Steven?! Spinel?! answer me?!" you see Steven stepping forward cautiously "y-yes but I didn't mean to-" you grabbed your lamp on your endtable throwing it at Steven's head smashing the lamp giving him a cut on his face "you had no right Universe!" you hissed as you threw the covers on your bed then stomped out of bed wanting to punch him "I told you specifically that I didn't want to be healed by you that if I were to get ill leave it be yet here 'I am' thanks to you" you clenched your fist. Spinel stepped in front of Steven "Y/N please don't be angry" Spinel pleaded, you sighed your anger calming down a moment seeing Spinel "if you think I'm angry at you Spinel, I'm not" you said patting her shoulder with a soft smile. You then walk over to Steven punching him hard in the stomach having him fall over Steven groaning as he held his stomach "just Universe here" you walked out of the room.

Spinel and Steven looked at each other as Steven got up off the ground, "we should... p-probably let.. Y/N process all... t-this" Steven suggested as he was still catching his breath. Spinel helped him up the rest of the way "I guess but I'm planning on checking on her tomorrow at least" Steven sighed ending with a small cough "o-ok just be careful... b-because she's a bit stronger than she was before... s-stars that hurt" Spinel nodded walking out with Steven.
Though before doing so Spinel knocked on the bathroom door "Y/N me and Steven are leaving, please call me if you need anything" Spinel heard you merely grunted "sure" from the other side of the door. Spinel wasn't entirely satisfied with that answer but enough to leave you house for now 'I hope Y/N will be in a better mood tomorrow' Spinel thought to herself.

Once you hear Spinel and Steven walk out the front door you started to pull at your now pink hair 'the fuck am I going to to do now? Is this the same thing that happened to Lars?' you thought to yourself looking in the mirror.
You sort of knew about Lars how your girlfriend mentioned he turned pink due to a 'near death' experience however even she didn't know the full details of how he died how Steven fixed him and why he turned pink.
As you stared at your hair no longer (hair color) but bright magenta hair, your eyes not being (eye color) now bright almost neon pink, rubbing your once (skin tone) now baby pink skin.
Seeing your 'new look' in full view didn't make you think how you died so much as how Steven disrespected your wishes in not wanting ever to be healed, so you picked your hair brush and smashed the mirror with sharp pieces everywhere.
You sighed having some of your rage die down a bit "great... now I have to pick all this up" picked up some of the bigger peices at first you putting some in the trash then you felt how sharp the mirror shards were 'I wonder...will Steven be able to revive twice' held it against your wrist. However at first you hesitated thinking about Spinel and how she would feel you doing this to yourself lifting the shard up from your wrist, but your thoughts were too clouded by wanting just to end it since you were already at peace with dying 'let this work' you thought to yourself.
You then sliced your wrist "try fixing this Universe" you hissed, though as you bled didn't there was regular red blood coming out like you expected, instead you had pink blood almost shimmering pouring down your wrist. It disturbed you seeing this you wanted to cover it up, trying to find a towel, as the pink blood contined to drip you felt somewhat guilty now for doing this to yourself now "did I really do this just I was mad at Steven... or because I was still missing you Abby?" you said confused you gripped your wound tightly feeling the sting of the cut though it wasn't as bad as you initially thought it would be "what is going on with me?" you said to yourself trying to sort out your emotions. You lifted the towel to see how bad it was wondering if the bleeding stopped though you noticed your once deep cut was now disappearing leaving only the soft scent of roses behind as if you never cut yourself.
You dropped the glass falling to you knees on the ground "w-wha... what the fuck... what did you do to me Steven Universe?" you said out loud you said in frustration feeling the same rush of emotions of rage and sadness before pulling at your now bright magenta hair.
You wanted to stop those emotions 'god I need something else maybe pills" you looked up spotting an old prescription you get up off the bathroom floor and opened the lid though you hesitated 'should I? I mean if I keep at this and succeed I'll never see Spinel again... but I may have a chance to see Abby again' you down the whole bottle sitting on the bathroom floor waiting for the results, though barely two minutes later you threw up all the pills barely making it to the toilet "damn it!" You shouted pounding your fist in the bathroom tile smashing it.

Spinel knocked on your door holding a box of cream fill chocolate icing donuts for you "Y/N... Y/N I got some tasty treats for you, I wanted to stop by to make sure you were ok" she said trying not to raise her voice to much, but then she heard a gun shot startled her so much she dropped the box of donuts.
Spinel kicked down the door hoping that maybe it was just the T.V. but to her horror Spinel sees you with a gun in your hand and a bullet hole in your head with pink oozing out of your head. Spinel held you and started crying "oh stars why?... why would you do this to yourself Y/N?!?" Spinel shouted gripping you tightly coiling her arms around you "if only I didn't leave you, if only I stayed like a good friend should've" Spinel whimpered rocking your limp body back and forth.
You wanted to show Steven that he was wrong for bring you back that he should have left you alone. So you tried just about everything you could think of to end your life but none of it worked though at this point you weren't upset at Steven so much as wondering how you were still reviving after so many attempts to kill yourself.
Though at one point you thought electrocuting yourself worked with your vision going black, but you only passed out for about 2 hours making your hair definitely frizzy.
This time you tried shoot yourself thinking 'this has to work' but again you heal like ever other time you groan "fuck that hurt" though after that attempt it dawned on you you weren't able to take your own life by any means so you might as well just sit back and enjoy the ride... until you find out more about this odd body of yours.
However as you wake up from your last attempt on your life find yourself in Spinel's arms with tears down her face and her noodle arms all around your body keeping you from moving around "Spinel?" you said in confusion but she merely wrapped you tighter in her arms restricting your movements "Y/N why would you do such a thing to yourself? is it that awful to be alive? was I not a good enough friend to you?" Spinel asked you tears streaming down her face. You didn't answer her merely looked away from her 'you were a good friend but I still miss her' you thought to yourself feeling somewhat guilty for feeling this way, Spinel wiped her tears away on her stretchy arm.
Spinel then got up off the ground still holding you tightly in her arms "I think I know how to fix this, you just need more attention more time with a good friend is all" you wiggled in her hold not liking the sound of that "what? Spinel I'm fine I'm all healed up now I clearly can't fucking die now put me down" you said trying to argue with her but she merely squeezed you tighter cutting off your circulation a bit not showing any signs of releasing you "don't worry Y/N it will be fun, just like when I was taking care of you when you were bedridden" Spinel said her voice sounding shaking "I have games and candy at my home, I even have ingredients for some of your favorite house it will so much fun" Spinel said looking towards you with a soft smile though you noticed your vision growing dark
