this chapter has far too many perspectives and i think thats very sexy of me
Aizawa is a shitlord, as well as the fucking Pussies who run the training camp. The only good thing that happened so far was when that little fucker punched Deku in the dick.
Bakugou is tired. He wants to explode everyone, except maybe Kirishima. Kiri is somewhat tolerable, for the most part. When he doesn't try to make Katsuki do "manly" things like talking about his emotions, that is.
Unfortunately, no one is allowed to sleep tonight. They're doing a stupid training regimen and are working with Class 1-B instead. And to make matters even worse, Katsuki had been paired with fucking Katy Perry.
They're walking along the path - Vanilla Ice refusing to stay behind Katsuki - when everything goes to shit.
'Villains are attacking!'
A man dressed in bondage and a straight jacket, eating a hand. When he notices Katsuki and Todoroki, he attacks them with his teeth.
Mandalay's voice rings through their heads again-
'Pro Hero Eraserhead gives permission to all students in Classes 1A and 1B to use their quirks against the villains!'
Katsuki has this in the bag, until-
'One of the villains targets has been discovered! 'Kacchan,' do not engage in combat!'
Fuck.

Mezo's biggest goal in life was to protect people, to provide for others. Usually, he was pretty good at it: providing a shield for Ashido so Mineta can't grope her, helping Tokoyami keep Dark Shadow in check, holding a very broken Midoriya on his back. Upon hearing the freckled boys plan, Mezo can't help but agree; why pick one friend when you can save both?
It was this line of thinking that had Shouji holding his injured classmate, leading Dark Shadow to Bakugou, and later attempting to protect his friends in a group. It would work, right? They'd get back to camp, and everyone would be safe. Wishful thinking on his part, probably.
When he and Midoriya arrive on the scene, Todoroki and Bakugou are barely holding their own against a villain who seems to have some sort of blade quirk. The one who cut off Shoujis hand earlier, no less. When Dark Shadow takes out the villain, Mezo wants nothing more than to hug Tokoyami close to his chest and tell him it's ok. Fumikage is not a monster, and Shouji knows that better than most people.

When Kacchan gets released from the villains quirk, and Todoroki goes flying, the only thing Izuku wants is for them to stay together. Tokoyami is safe now - Shouji was able to get him back. The villains are leaving now. But there's a few problems with that. For one, the man with blue fire is holding Kacchan by the neck, pulling him through the portal. For two, Todoroki may have just gotten burnt alive, also thanks to the scarred man. Neither of them are safe. So Izuku tries with all his might to keep them together.
Now he has a third problem: he wasn't actually quirkless before getting One For All.
He doesn't actually notice it at first. He gets dizzy and zones out for a second, and his thoughts come back with extra additions. It's not like having his mind running rampant is new to him, either. Even on his meds, he has at least 20 different trains of thoughts spiraling out at once, arguing with each other. He's used to this. Usually the voices all sound the same, but now there's two new voices.

When Katsuki comes back out of his weird dream state (probably one of the villains quirks, he thinks), the first thing he registers is the pain in his arms. When he overuses his quirk, it's usually only a ringing in his ears and cramping fingers. This feels as though he shattered his arms.
The second thing he registers is the migraine. Katsuki Bakugou is not prone to migraines. Did he get a concussion? Is that why he felt like he was dreaming just now?
The third thing he registers is the hand on his neck. That's not good. Was he captured? What are the villains planning?
Then, everything goes black.

Shouto likes to think he's a pretty level-headed guy. Even in a battle, he can think rationally and strategize. He's prepared for anything... Until he looks up into his father's eyes. But that's not his dad, Endeavor is a hero, not a villain. Endeavors fire isn't blue unless he concentrates it. The only person Shouto has ever seen be able to use blue fire like that is his eldest brother, but Touya is long gone.
Thanks to this little distraction, Todoroki can't get up in time to save Bakugou. He then gains a new distraction, but not of his own volition. Suddenly, his vision gets blurry and he nearly vomits, overwhelmed with pain that isn't his own. Then, he gets bombarded with a frenzy of thoughts.
'My quirk doesn't hurt this much.'
'I couldn't save Kacchan.'
'I didn't explode enough things to cause cramps yet.'
'Is Todoroki even alive?'
'Why the fuck does my head hurt, I don't fucking get migraines.'
'They're pulling Kacchan through the warp gate!'
'Are they going to kill me?'
A blunt pain hits Shoutos neck, just below his ear, then one of the voices leaves his head.
'Is Todoroki alright? I couldn't save Kacchan, hopefully he's ok!'
And Shouto decides to try answering with his head-
'I'm alright.'
From a few meters away, Midoriyas eyes widen to the size of saucers, just before he vomits on the ground and passes out. Shouji is able to catch him before he falls into his own sick, and Shouto is so overwhelmed he passes out too.
~*~
When Shouto regains consciousness, he's relieved to learn that most of his classmates made it out alright. He's less than relieved to discover that the whole thought-sharing thing wasn't a hallucination.
In Midoriyas dreams, he sees Bakugou as a small child, leading a group of his peers across a log. They follow him in a line, almost like ducklings following a hen.
'Kacchan! Are you hurt? I was worried you'd hit your head.'
In Bakugous thoughts, there's a whole lot of bickering between villains. One villain in particular is extra annoying, flirting with the schoolgirl villain even though he's probably in his thirties.
'Toga-chan! You're my bestfriend, right? You should sit in my lap. You should sit on my face!'
This isn't normal. Nobody at Yuuei has a quirk that would cause this. How did this happen? Was it a villain? Why would a villain do this? Why did that one villain have the same eyes as Endeavor? Why was he so familiar?

Kirishima feels hopeless. His friends got hurt, his best friend got kidnapped, and he didn't do anything. Eijiro needs to do something, and quickly. He can't let the League kill his friend.
He leaves his house as soon as his parents finish their doting upon him, not caring that his hair is down. He has to get to the hospital. He has to save Bakugou.
After jogging to the hospital, Eijiro spots the unmistakable hair of his classmate. Todoroki is standing in front of a vending machine, looking at a pack of chips as though they might hold the answer to all his problems.
"Hey! Todoroki, why are you here?" Kirishima decides to politely withhold the fact that Todoroki looks like shit.
Todoroki, not removing his eyes from the vending machine, replies, "I couldn't stand by any more. I need to help."
"Couldn't agree more, bro. Should we visit Midoriya?"
"He's not awake yet. I can feel his dreams." Ok, something's definitely wrong with Todoroki. Or maybe he just loses what little social skills he has when he gets stressed. Kirishima doesn't mention it.
