Quarantine w the bros

"Ugh! Why didn't I go with Hunk when he offered? This is gonna be so hard!" Lance groaned. "Hey, I'm not happy with this either." James states. "You think I want to be stuck here with all of you? I didn't even want to be here in the first place."
"But you have the biggest house. And, your dad is loaded." Ryan comments.
"He's also a narcissistic asshole who's never done shit for me or my siblings." James snaps. "James..." Keith starts. "You know it's true! You've met him, he's terrible! And if he shows up, well, I can't promise he'll leave alive." James says lowly.
"Somebody has daddy issues." Lance said in a sing-song voice.
"You have siblings???" Ryan asks. "Five older ones. Three sisters and two brothers. All terrible." James answers. "Why didn't we know this?" Shiro asks. "He doesn't like talking about it." Keith mutters. James closes the fridge. "Look, I'm all for this whole "inter team bonding" thing-" He said, putting air quotes around the words "- but being stuck in a house together for who knows how long? That might be just a little bit much." He says, pouring some of the drink in the glass.
"What is that?" Lance asked, eyeing the liquid. "Apple juice. Why, you want some?" James asked. Lance shrugged. "Sure." James tossed him a glass, hanging him the pitcher. "Is their stuff still here? Cause I don't want to sleep in a girly room." Shiro says. James shakes his head, sipping his juice. "They all left when they turned 18, taking everything they wanted with them. Everything else got put in the attic or donated. Their rooms got turned into guest rooms. It's either blue, white or black everything, with light or dark brown furniture. The girls took almost nothing with them when they left, and my brother took everything they could fit in their car. They'd already sorted the stuff into "keep" and "donate" piles. All we had to do was move it."
"We?" Ryan asks. "Me and my father. But the perks of him being him was I could do pretty much whatever I wanted. I just had to be here when the case worker showed up.

"Guys, come look." Ryan whispered. "What?" Lance asked, coming closer. "Look." Ryan said, nodding to the living room.
Shiro and Lance peeked their heads in the room, and their eyes widened.

Keith lay sprawled across the couch, James lying on top of him. James's head laid on Keith's shoulder, hand on his chest and lips parted slightly as he slept. One of Keith's arms was around him, the other hanging off the couch as he snored softly.

"Oh. My. GOD." Lance whispered. "What?" hunk asked, coming up. They pointed wordlessly to the scene. Hunk glanced at it and smiled. "Awww. They're cute together. I haven't seen that in a long time." Shiro raised an eyebrow. "You've seen it before?" Hunk scoffed. "You're joking, right? They dated for like, two years at the Garrison." The other three men's eyes bulge out. "They what?" All three ask at once. "They dated at the Garrison. Just about everyone in our class knew. I'm surprised you guys didn't know." "WHAT??!??" Lance shrieks, and the others shush him, glancing at the two sleeping.

Keith groans and shifts a bit, but stays asleep.

"Yeah. They were all mushy-feely all over the base. You should've seen James after Keith got kicked out. It was like a fire had gone out. Ask anyone. He was a totally different person without him. People actually started to worry that he was depressed. And he was pretty popular. He's kinda like you Lance. People notice if he's not feeling right. Like when you have a bad day? People notice."
"But James is nothing like that. He's.. closed off. Distant. I've only ever heard him laugh maybe once." Ryan says.
"With Keith." Hunk points out. "Right.." Ryan trails off. "And if you haven't noticed, Keith has been noticeably happier since we got back."
