Despite the overblots.. and I thought those were uncommon? Two of them back to back? Seems pretty common to me!
Nonetheless, testing is about to begin and Alice has been studyinh nonstop. Its bad enough she cant use magic, good thing these tests are paper based.
And she may be studying as best as she can. But there is a SMALLL issue there!! Alice can't read. Or write. Shes suprised how shes lived this long?? If not for her agent then she probably would've signed off on some sort of sex movie. (Thank gods for people who can read, am I right?)
But! She has been learning! Ofcourse it takes some time but shes been learning. She can't count on Ace or Deuce for help on this stuff, so she went to Riddle Rosehearts. Apparently the smartest kid in like, the whole school. Which, she's not gonna second guess that.
After Riddle's overblot she can guarantee that the two of them have definitely gotten closer, plus! They have the same last name! Riddle's got her practicing her handwriting right now, even though he said it was "perfect cursive." Looked like a bunch of gibberish to her.
Also, to her suprise, Leona Kingscholar, also seemed to be.. "helping" her sometimes. If helping means "correcting" her work aggressively whenever she gets a piece of homework could be considered helping then, for sure!
Alice remembers the first time they met, when she accidentally stepped on the others tail and when she apologized he had the nerve to be like "an apology isn't gonna help my tail." Like okay furry what else do you want me to do? Get on my knees and lick your fucking tail till its clean? Alice almost died that day, the pure glare that Leona was sending her way was enough for her to want to curl into a ball. She called him a pussy cat that day too.
The ONLY reason shes still living and breathing is because her saviour ruggie came to intercept. Alice loves her some ruggie, evem if he was a little annoying at first, hes a totally cool and fun guy, aswell as being crafty and intelligent! Definitely something Alice can admire. Leona is also suprisngly intelligent too. Just, so lazy!!
She cant blame hin to be fair.. she doesn't want to get to class either.
Right now, Alice was walking through the halls with both Ace and Deuce, Grim happened to be.. uhm, where was grim? Hopefully not making a mess somewhere, she can't keep an eye on him sometimes! She'd consider the 3 of them to be her best friends here! Sure they all got off to a rocky start at first but things have more over smoothed out!
Ace and Deuce are two.. chaotically fun people. She considers them to be kind of like Gojo and Geto in a fully homosexual way. Alice is always a little skeptical when they say they're not gay but, who is she to push the ideal on them, right? (Shut up Ivano.)
Cater and Trey are pretty nice too! They're both kind of like, cool older brothers who let you get away with too much shit, and when mom comes knocking (riddle in this instance) the lie for you. Maybe only cater plays into that last bit because Im not sure if I can imagine Trey lying to Riddle.
Alice was simply nodding her head and walking with the two. They were talking about finals first, and then it drifted into something that Alice wasn't really intrested in, but simply listening in nonetheless. Hm, they saw jack earlier and Alice wanted to talk to him about something but for the life of her she couldnt remember what
"Alice!" She heard someone yell into her ear. She yelped and turned towards the voice, both Deuce and Ace had stopped, she stared at Ace and raised an eyebrow
"What is it?"
"We asked what you're doing later?? We wanted to have another sleepover!" Answered Deuce
"At Ramshackle? Uhhh I dont know guys, I'll be studying later"
"Ah, thats okay! I should probably be studying too!"
Ace had this sour look on his face and responded with a quick jib of, "wow, Alice actually studying for once? Now thats a shocker!" Alice felt a blood vessel in her face pop, balling her hand into a fist and punching Ace in the gut.
Ace doubled over and clutched his stomach, holding an arm up in classical defense. Alice looked like she was about to yank his hair, deuce quickly grabbed her wrist pointing over to the approaching Crowley.
"What could he want now.."
Alice sighed, pulling Ace up to his feet. She held the others wrist as she could clearly see Ace's legs start to wobble and his face still contorted into a look of pain.
"You're too heavy handed for this abuse.." Ace stammered out, Alice sighed and shook her head, "I barely even hit you! Hades could take harder hits."
"What? Wait like the god?" Deuce quipped, clearly regretting his "thought" process as soon as the words came out his mouth. "Sorry."
"Right then.. Hadrian was like, much more built then you, Ace. So i suppose that could've been why.."
"You think?!"
Alice rolled her eyes just as crowley stopped infront of her. She'll never get over how tall the other was, most like all the other boys at this school. Sometimes Alice wishes she was as tall as a line backer on steroids.
"Ah, Ms.Rosehearts! I was just looking for you!" Crowley smiled and his mask's eyes closed. Alice mirrored the smile doing a quick wave.
"Hello headmage Crowley! How can I help you?"
The other looks at Alice before his gaze wanders to Ace and Deuce. Clearly he might have not seen them at the time when he saw Alice. It is a little hard to miss the only girl at the boys school and bright neon red hair. So finding her must've been easy enough. Was Crowley saying something? Oh shit.
"Right, so we have a slight issue! Similar to yours to be exact..!"
Alice was a little stunned at this news. Someone had been brought in from another world, again? Well that was.. suprising. Shes sure that the Dark mirror had to be choosing these people for a reason.
"Well thats.. cool? Why should I care about this one though?" Alice letting go of Ace's arm crossed her arms over her chest. The only thing she cared about was getting home. And then it clicks.
"Well.. Since im so benevolent, We decided that they're going to be-" "placed in Ramshackle." Alice finished. The girl sighed and shook her head, well.. atleast shes getting a new roomate? Thats, a living breathing human. Hopefully a human. Alice had to atleast seem excitied for this change, but despite popular belief she hates talking to people.
She didn't want to talk to trey, she didn't want to talk to Cater, Professors trein and Crowley, Sam, Vargas, Crowley, Riddle, Ruggie, Leona, Jack! She doesn't fucking like people this is all just one extremely annoying inconvenience for her.
Spotlight, yes! Actually talking to people? No.
Alice grumbled before forcing another smile onto her face. She can only hope that they get along..
"So, where is this person?"
"Mm, yes! Right this way if you will!" Crowley began to walk away and the trio followed. She wasn't sure why Ace and Deuce were following them, but maybe they were curious about who this person was too.
They arrived in Crowley's office, Ace and Deuce were the first ones in. Ace seemed to hum and assess the person while Deuce smiled and waved. She moved her hands between the two and pushed them away.
She sucked in a breathe taking in the girl infront of her.
Dark clothes, a purple lace holding her corset together. Dark black hair put up into a high ponytail, goth make up in all its glory. Alice thought she was seeing things for a second. She wiped her eyes and let them fall down to her gaping mouth.
"Alice Rosehearts-" upon hearing her name the other girls eyes only seemed to widen and they seem to kind of.. glisten? Crowley moves a hand over to the other girl. "This is Me-" before Crowley could finish Alice abruptly interrupted, (terrible etiquette, I know!)
"Megara!"
"Megara?" Ace and Deuce said at the same time.
"Alice, wait!" Megara put her hands out for the girl who actually jumped on her. Megara laughed and swung the other girl around for a moment before putting her down. Megara then went on to squeese the girls cheeks.
"Oh wow, its really you.."
"Mhm!! You're still alive! Oh gods, does that mean its over?"
Megara nodded her head and Alice grinned, letting a sigh escape her lips
"Alive? Does that have something to do with your worlds.. "problem?" " Alice turned back towards Crowley who had asked the question. I suppose it was a weird thing to say to someone..
Alice nodded, huffing and turning back to Megara, starting to pinch the other girls arms.
"Im just as real as you are Alice.." the girl Murmured, she seemed to look extremely embarrassed. She definitely wasn't expecting Alice, and.. friends.
"Ah, I know! Im just, I've missed you so much!! Its so lonely here without you!" Alice hummed, hugging Megara a little tighter smooshing her face into the others stomach. Sometimes she couldn't be more happy at the height difference.
"Ahem.." both girls turned BACK to Crowley. He gestured to the door. "Sorry to interrupt this.. wonderful reunion! But I have to plan my next vaca- I have to do some work!! So if you four would be so kind as to, well!"
Alice sighed and shook her head, she couldnt really be mad right now. Knowing Megara was still alive and well. She feels really bad for the staff though.. the salary cut is most likely gonna bite them in the ass. Alice grabs the other by the hand and leads her out, Ace and Deuce following after.
"Theres so much I have to explain to you! Oh, and theres soooo many people I want to introduce you too!"
"Like us?" "Is this really the infamous Megara?" Twk voices sounded at the same time, and Alice is sure she probably does owe her friends some sort of explanation.. she slows down and turns to the two of them, moving to stand beside Megara.
"Okay! Boys, This is Megara Laurier, although last names aren't too important. Megara, this is Ace Trappola, and Deuce Spade. We're friends!"
"Ah.. Hello, its Nice to meet you both!" They both chimed in with their own hello variation.
After that was done Alice skipped away trudging Megara with her.
"Wait till you see Riddle! I think you'll like eachother! Did you know I have the same last name as him?"
"Really? Thats cool!"
"Uh huh!"
Alice went on to talk to Megara about whats been happening ever since shes been gone, aswell as telling her about this world in general. Megara simply content to listen, and chime in every now and then.
Ace and Deuce, follow the dou, a little distance between them. The halls now empty as schools been long done. Finally, Deuce breaks the "silence"
"I dont think I've ever seen her talk this much."
"You're telling me.. its freaking my out a bit."
