Dependency

Her hand.... she always made sure to have a tight grip on it, she didn't want to get lost. It's happened before, all it takes is a few seconds and it seems like her entire surroundings change and she can never find the familiar face in sight. It wasn't her fault though, not when she could make herself change at any time. All it took was a little blood and she was a completely different person... but at the same time she wasn't, she was still her friend, and the one person who meant the most to her in the world.

"Don't let go alright." The familiar voice whispered after lowering to her height, she gave a nod as they walked through a few more streets before they entered an alley. She didn't feel the need to watch as Toga rid herself of her 'costume' but she did use her free hand to pull out the other girl's clothes from her small carry-on bag. They were folded neatly which took her an amount of time, but Toga didn't even notice since she just took them and slipped them on, not seeing the look on her face when she had to momentarily let go to get dressed. She did her best to suppress the whine that almost escaped, she needed to stop being so weak, that's what Toga told her right? She had to be patient.

After she was dressed again, Toga took her hand and gave her a beaming smile, one that may have looked lovesick and terrifying, but all it did was spike her heart with happiness, that expression meant Toga was going to praise her!

"You didn't even whimper when I let go! I'm so proud of you! Look at how good you've gotten." She cooed at her and though to some it may have seemed strange, but validation is what she craved, she needed it, and the only person who gave it to her was Toga, so why should she care if Toga was a villain, or if she hurt people.

She gave her all she wanted, and that was enough for her to accept anything.
