“I am fucking tired of it”
As soon as those words came out of Sana’s mouth, her friends immediately knew what it was about.
“Your dad again?” Jeongyeon asked, although she knew the answer already.
“Who else? He should just adopt her and leave me the fuck alone”
“Stop it Sana.. I am pretty sure you did something dumb again” Nayeon, the only reasonable one out of the three stated.
“You are supposed be my friend and you’re taking his side?” Sana asked with an eye roll.
“I am not taking sides Satang. Just tell me what happened” Nayeon asked calmly as she knew her best friend way too well.
“I failed my mid-terms and his favorite got the highest in hers, so he started comparing me with her again. So fucking tired of it”
“You can’t even say her name” said Jeongyeon, clearly mocking Sana and laughing at her.
“Why would I? I don’t wanna ruin the taste of my mouth by saying that bitch’s name”
“How is this Mina’s fault? Sometimes I really can’t believe you” Nayeon tried to put some sense in Sana’s head but Jeongyeon wouldn’t let that happen yet.
“You know Sana… if you really are so tired of Mina, you should do something about it..”
“Stop it Jeong—“ Nayeon gave Jeongyeon the death stare of her life but Sana was definitely intrigued.
“What do you mean?”
“Look over there” Jeongyeon pointed at a direction and both Sana and Nayeon’s head turned.
“What am I looking at?” Nayeon asked while squinting her eyes.
“You see that girl? The one sitting with Chaeyoung”
“Her? Of course I know her. She’s always at our house” said Sana.
She knew this girl.
Momo..
She knew her as Momo had been Mina’s friend since they were kids.
Momo would always be at their house but because she was Mina’s friend, Sana never mingled with her.
She just knew that Momo was same age as Mina, hence she was younger than Sana.
“Yes her…Momo… and you do know that Mina has like a massive crush on her right?”
“What?” Nayeon and Sana both exclaimed at the same time.
Now this was news to Sana.
“Omg it is so obvious. Everyone at the school knows this"
“Well I don’t pay enough attention to Mina to know this.. so whatever” said Sana nonchalantly.
“Well you should pay attention..” said Jeongyeon with a mischievous smile.
“I swear to god Jeong… stop this right now..” Nayeon tried warning Jeongyeon as she knew what Jeongyeon had in her mind and she definitely didn’t want Sana to entertain it at all.
Sana already had a lot in her plate and Nayeon didn’t want her to welcome more troubles in her life.
But Sana seemed to think otherwise.
“What are you trying to say Jeong? Just spit it out” said Sana, growing impatient.
“Go for Momo.. it’ll definitely hurt Mina or trigger her in some way”
“Stop giving her stupid ideas” Nayeon blurted while smacking the back of Jeongyeon’s head.
“And besides Sana doesn’t even like Momo like that… right?” she asked nervously.
“Hmmmm” Sana said and darted her eyes towards Momo. She stared and observed her for few seconds.
“She… isn’t that bad” she said while still checking Momo out.
“No Satang please…no” Nayeon practically started pleading at this point.
“Don’t even think about it.. why would you go through such lengths just to hurt Mina?”
“It’s no trouble Nayeon-ie” she ruffled Nayeon’s hair and said “It’s actually my pleasure”
“See you losers later”
Before Nayeon could protest more Sana was already out of her reach, heading towards where Momo was sitting with her friend.
“This is going to be so fun” said Jeongyeon while rubbing her hands together before Nayeon gave her another smack.
“You asshole… you always give her these dumb ideas which always gets her in trouble”
Nayeon was worried.. like worried worried. But she knew Sana was stubborn and there was literally nothing she could do about it..
All she could do was blame everything on Jeongyeon and eat her ears off.. so that’s what she did..
And now Jeongyeon was definitely regretting her actions earlier..
Nayeon in her mom mode are a lot to handle.
Sana wasn’t nervous doing this. She was actually not thinking that she was asking this girl out. She was just thinking that she was getting her “revenge” on Mina. That this was not anything romantic.
That this wasn’t for love.
This was war..
So with that in mind she went to where Momo was siting and greeted her..
“Momo..hi”
Momo looked up, squinted her eyes for a few seconds and said, “Wow is Minatozaki Sana saying hi to me?”
“Oh so you know me?” Sana asked as if she was shocked knowing this.
Momo and her friends exchanged looks and chuckled.
“Of course I know you but I am surprised that you know me”
“Well it’s too hard not to notice you” Sana said casually.
“Oh really?” Momo asked with a smirk.. “then why are you just saying hi to me now?”
“You’re just so beautiful that I can’t even utter any words when you’re near you know…”
“Uh-huh…” Momo nodded along, curious to see what this girl was trying to do.
“So what say.. I take you out for dinner tomorrow night.. my treat” said Sana while smirking.
Momo folded her hands and leaned back on her seat.
“Are you asking me out on a date Minatozaki?” she asked while raising her eyebrows.
“You bet” Sana was fast to answer.. “So what do you say?”
Momo pretended to think for a while although she already knew what her answer was gonna be.
“Okay then..see you tomorrow” she got up from seat and added, “pick me up after school”
She said casually and walked away while her friend followed.
Sana just stood there smiling to herself. It went better than she expected.
It actually went very differently than she expected.
She didn’t expect this girl to be so nonchalant about it. She didn’t expect her to be so open about it. She didn’t expect her to agree this easily.
Maybe this girl was more interesting than she initially thought.
“Ohmygod Momo slow down…” Chaeyoung said as she was following Momo from behind.
“It’s not my fault that your legs are so short…just hurry” Momo just rolled her eyes and continued walking.
“Shut up and what the fuck just happened there?”
“What? Sana asked me out on a date and I agreed. Were you not paying attention?”
“Oh believe me I was” Chaeyoung said mockingly and added, “Why did you agree? Like wouldn’t it be… weird?
“Why would it be weird?” asked Momo, confused.
“For your information she is Mina’s sister.. if you don’t know”
“So?”
“So? So wouldn’t it effect your relationship with Mina.. I mean aren’t you guys a thing?”
“Change-ie you’re one of my best friends and you don’t know that Mina and I aren’t in a relationship? Like pay attention kiddo” Momo said with a sigh.
“Of course I know you guys aren’t dating but you guys still have a….thing.. like…. Ugh I don’t know how to explain” Chaeyoung said while groaning in frustration.
“Calm down Chaeyoung-ah.. Mina and I are just friends.. best friends. There’s nothing romantic between us. Besides I think Sana is hot so why would I not go on a date with her when she asked me out?”
“You think Sana is hot?” Chaeyoung asked with wide eyes as if Momo said something out of ordinary which in a way she did as Momo had never said that about anyone before.
At least not to Chaeyoung.
“Of course.. you’d have to be blind to think she isn’t hot”
“I mean yeah like she is hot.. but not Tzuyu level hot”
“Oh my god stop bringing your girlfriend into everything” Momo said while rolling he eyes.
“I will and you will too after you and Sana become couple or whatever” Chaeyoung said while already worrying about Sana and Momo becoming a couple.
They’d definitely be a competition for her and Tzuyu as the hottest couple in the school.
“Um… that ain’t gonna happen” said Momo, bursting Chaeyoung’s imagination.
“Why?” Chaeyoung asked, confused.
Before Momo could answer, the bell rang which cut their conversation short.
“I am gonna be late for class.. I will see you later Chaengie”
It was chemistry class and being late meant death trap.
So without answering Momo ran towards her class.
“Wait Momo.. tell me why?” Chaeyoung tried again but groaned in frustration as Momo was out of there already.
It was definitely an interesting event that took place today.
Minatozaki Sana asking out her step-sister/ mortal enemy Myoui Mina’s best friend/ crush Hirai Momo?
The tea was hot and whole school was going to have a blast with it.
Except Mina of course..
