Chapter 3
We started the journey the next night, as it was the most convenient. However, we would have to deal with the immense amounts squaking my Pteranodon parents would do, which was sure to alert the entire cave: we would have to walk at the speed of Jesus to not be caught.
Slowly, the future star strutted towards me like a supermodel, except minus the beauty, and hit me on the head with his book (which I think he called the Gayble or something, but it like his diary, but then it got published, so he punished humanity with many waves of disease). “Oi, Emu, wake up before it gets too late.” whispered the Tenma.
“I’m awake you rat bastard,” I muttered sleepily, praying that my parents wouldn't wake up. I grabbed my iRock, and we set off. Suddenly, I heard an ear piercing shriek. I froze. A look of panic flashed across Tsukasa's face. We had to escape fast.
My heart thumped against my chest. I ran as fast as I have in all my life, praying that the pteranodons wouldn’t eat me for breakfast. The world started to blur, becoming one large mass of blue and green. I was sure I’d run around the world hundreds of times by the time we stopped. “Child of mine, we need to rest,” piss boy panted, “We have a long journey tomorrow.” I struggled to respond, breathless from the hours of running. The last thing I remember was giving Tsukasa a thumbs up, before passing out on the pebbles beneath. I didn't know what I had coming - it was gonna be a wild ride.
