Marisa was standing near the entrance of 6 Flags, waiting patiently and nervously. She had been planning this day for 2 weeks. She had always wanted to tell her best friend, K.C Cooper how she felt about her. Ernie told Marisa to “just go for it” but Marisa didn’t know how K.C would react. Would K.C feel the same way? Would she reject her? Or will she stop being friends with her? All of these thoughts ran through Marisa’s mind.
She was so caught up in her thoughts that she didn’t here K.C call out to her. “Marisa!” Marisa immediately was thrown out of her thoughts and looked up to see K.C, standing near her car and waving at her. “Are you alright?” K.C asked. “I called out to you like, 100 times”. “Uh, yeah I’m fine” Marisa said, trying to act like she wasn’t trying to find ways to come out to her friend. “Ok good. Now, where should we go first?” K.C asked, walking up closer to Marisa. “Hmm, I don’t know” Marisa answered. “Maybe we should get food first?”. “And risked the chance of throwing up on a ride? Not a chance” K.C said, laughing. “Maybe we should walk around until we find a ride that we like, then we will get food”. “Yeah, that sounds nice”
then, they went through the gates and into the amusement park. They walked around, rode a lot of rides like rollercoasters, ferris wheels, and many other rides. After that they got something to eat, and walked around a bit more. It was getting dark out, and Marisa didn’t want to miss her chance to tell her best friend/crush how she felt. While they where walking, Marisa finally mustered up the courage to tell K.C how she felt.
“K.C?” Marisa said, K.C turned her head to face her friend. “I really need to tell you something, and you have to promise me that you won’t get mad or end our friendship” “I promise” Marisa was hesitant for a moment, before she finally spilled her guts. “I love you, like, really love you” Marisa confessed. “I have always loved you and always had a crush on you but I didn’t know how you’d reply” K.C stood there, like she was frozen. Marisa instantly regretted telling her. “Umm, I’m sorry, I’m really sorry. I didn’t mean to-“ Marisa was cut off by K.C kissing her. Her lips felt soft and warm. Marisa was shocked for a second but instantly kissed her back. After like, five seconds they pull away. “I have always loved you too” K.C confessed. Marisa couldn’t believe it. The person who she thought was gonna reject her, ended up liking her as well. K.C then pulls Marisa in for another kiss. This was the best day of Marisa’s life.
