Chapter 2
Location: St.Freya Academy

Kiana’s not having a good time, if anything she’s been having the worst time since Kaine Joined St.Freya. It doesn't help that she and Mei had a fight the day before Kaine arrived (Bronya sided with Mei) which led to them spending as much time with Kaine in order to make Kiana jealous/guilty to get her to apologize to them.
If she’s being honest Kiana doesn't even remember how it started, only that something was said, which led to another and another until it blew up into problems that both of them had seemingly decided wasn't worth the effort to bring up, but had been brought out during the fight. Hell she doesn’t even remember when Bronya joined in on Mei’s side, but it had upset Kiana enough that she verbally lashed out at Bronya as well.
Kiana knows that she's in the wrong for some of the things she said and does regret saying some of the things she said to them, however she won't say anything until they want to apologize as well after all she wasn’t the only one in the wrong here.
But of course if this was the only problem she could and very easily would brush it off like nobody's business, but unfortunately for Kiana, her last name is Kaslana and a Kaslana must be tormented, Kaine is really good with standardized tests, something that Kiana struggles with due to her upbringing. This of course has led to bullies, at least attempted bullying by her peers, something that's not easy to do when she beats them regularly during sparring sessions. But words can hurt quite a lot if used correctly, and some of them know what to say to make sure she’s hurt.
She did tell Himeko and Theresa about the bullying attempts but after a week of investigation on their part it can only be concluded that Kiana was just looking for attention (at least for Theresa, Himeko looked reluctant to believe it)
On another note, her relationship with Bronya has gone straight to non-existent. Before her fights with the twin tailed girl always ended with them playing a video game and her losing badly, but now their interactions always lead back to her fight with Mei. Honestly Bronya had pulled project bunny on her thrice in the last two weeks, not to mention their fight now gets borderline physical and would get physical if there's no one there to stop them.
‘How long would I have to suffer like this?’ Kiana wonders.
“...Idiotka can’t shut up.” Bronya states,
They are currently inside their classroom after classes are over, why is Kiana interacting with Bronya? you may ask dear reader, it's simply because Kiana deep down wishes to be friends with her despite what has happened between them. That and Bronya has one of her textbooks
“What makes you so sure that I can't?” Kiana questions with a frown
“Because idiotka doesn't know how to keep her mouth shut for longer than two minutes” Bronya states as though that was a fact proven by science or something similar
There was a resounding “ooooh” from the class
“Wanna bet?” Kiana who was still frowning offers
Gasps can be heard throughout the classroom
“The Bronya has better things to do than make a bet the Bronya will surely win” Bronya deadpans at Kiana
A giggles from the girls in the class
Kiana Scoffs, “Then if you are so sure that you're going to win, then why not? you have nothing to lose” Kiana says with a confident smirk on her face.
“Ahh, it’s happening again.” One girl says to another, indicating that this is a rather common occurrence.
“Kiana always picks fights that she can’t win, doesn’t she?” Another one chuckles at the ordeal, oblivious to the tension going on, like the rest of the class.
Now it was Bronya’s turn to frown, “if Iditoka is so desperate to lose, the Bronya will accept, what are the terms, Idiotka?” Bronya states not backing down from KIana’s challenge
Wide eyed stares from the peanut gallery
“Well you win if i verbally talk, obviously, BUT any sleep talking, snoring or involuntary screams on my end don't count, i win when you willingly say that you want me to talk again, the bet officially starts at exactly midnight tonight.” Kiana states the terms of their bet before they shake hands to seal the deal.
The girls in class at this point have noted down the terms of their bet.
Unbeknown to both Kiana and Bronya, by evening everyone in St.Freya knows about their bet, and by morning the next day everyone in the entirety of Schiksal knows about the bet.
Ai-Chan being the bored busy-body she is decided to make a betting pool on who would win this bet (whilst making sure to add the necessary known information about both parties), with the unspoken rule within Schiksal stating that both parties of the bet is not informed of the betting pool
As such within 2 weeks there’s a massive betting pool going up to 4.20 million dollars, with everyone bar 8 individuals betting on Bronya.
Surprising almost everyone, Kiana was not only able to keep her mouth shut, but it seems like her demeanor partially changed to everyone who’s known her in St.Freya, whereby before when it came to sparring matches, she would be taunting her opponents during sparring matches, now, her sparring matches that would used last up to 5 minutes, would be over in under 1.
She also became so silent that unless you’re actively looking for her, she can go completely under the radar, despite the fact that her hair color would normally make her standout like a sore thumb, but it seems that it doesn’t seem to be the case.
