Mirae started the interview with small talk about her day, her dress, and especially her mask.
Once the situation was deemed comfortable she started asking questions that citizens most wanted to know about. " WEI-sama, may I ask how your name came to be!? Most of your citizens are dying to know the answer to this question including myself! "
WEI laughed because the fact that what people most wanted to know about was her stage name, and not about herself was very hilarious to her. " There is nothing complicated to think about. It's just the surname of the main character of one of my favorite danmei novels, that's all" she answered while shaking her head at the ridiculous question.
The host was shocked at the simple answer, "WEI- sama are you saying that you just took on the name of a 2d character????" She couldn't believe her ears. Her Idol was way too casual oh my goodness!
"WEI-sama, aren't you a little too casual about these things????" Mirae whined.
WEI laughed even more listening to her whines. " You guys are way too wound up over an old lady such as myself. It's just a stage name, It's not as if I'm deciding my son's name now, am I?"
"Old lady? Come on WEI-sama! How are you an old lady? If that were the case then I'd be a grandma by now!!!" Mirae retorted back. She suddenly paused as she rewinded back.
WEI waited for her brain to finish loading as she leaned back on the sofa comfortably. She knew, what she said was gonna be a real uproar to the world, so she would just sit back and watch the fun.
Mirae screamed as she recollected what she heard," WEI-sama!!! what do you mean by son?????????? Are you telling us that you have a son? Are you married? Do you have a husband? You're a mother????"
"Mirae, stop screaming. I'm just right next to you, and I can hear you clearly without shouting, okay? So calm down." WEI indulgingly smiled at her cute little hoobae and spoke softly.
"I do have a son. No, I'm not married, I don't have a husband, and finally, yes, I'm a mother. Anything else you'd like to ask?"
Mirae dropped her jaw in surprise as she listened to her idol talk. Damn. She really did a number on them. But this is her idol's style alright. Dropping bombs without any rhyme or reason.
