Everyone tries to make jokes. Gus puts on an illusion and does funny voices Amity hesitantly makes jokes Willow also tried.
Luz started laughing after she looked at Hunter. He was laughing in an exaggerated way. Luz sighed and grabbed 50k for Hunter.
"I’m a sympathetic laugher" she explained, "if someone else laughs so do I".
It still surprised her the connection the two had. It was interesting. It had been adorable to see the look of horror and defensiveness on his face when Luz had said “Now that I'm married” Willow was pretty sure Hunter felt the same way Luz did.

They paid Gus 50k in exchange for 3 10s
Luz got a 9 and her action card said

Gus spun and got a 2 he traded Luz a 50 for 3 10ks and handed some to Luz. He landed on payday and Willow handed him another 100k
Hunter and Willow both got 2s and handed over the money to Luz

Hunter got a 3 and so did Willow Willow grabbed them 2 50s
Luz got a 10 and paid Hunter and pointed herself to the family path. “You're going to want to take the family path. You get 50k at the end per kid”
“Isn’t that a little-” Hunter started
“Messed up? Yes but it’s how the game works”
“I was going to say illogical but that works too.”
Luz spun again and landed on a single girl baby.
Amity landed on the stop with a two she paid Luz before spinning again.

She turned to Luz “The chances are 50/50 of getting more or less. Right?” She asked Luz.
“I think so,” Luz said.

Gus spun and got a 6 he passed a payday and collected and he grabbed an action.

Hunter got a 10 Willow got a 2 and handed 20k to Luz.
They landed on a house. Willow moved the car and looked at Hunter. He nodded.

Willow grabbed the houseboat after looking at Hunter.
Luz spun and got a 5. She landed on an action. She read the card “Get a pool. It's time for scorching summer fun. Pay bank 50k” She did so. Then she grabbed the money pack for her payday
Amity got an eight she landed on stop.
"Spin one through three for zero babies
Four through six for one baby
Seven through eight for twins
Nine through ten for triplets."
She spun an 8 and grabbed 2 random pegs. She spun again and got a 4
Her action read "Rock competition pick an opponent. Both play air guitar and spin." She looked at Gus this time. He hopped up and made an illusionary guitar. They both rocked out with a smile.

Amity collected the 20k specified on the card.
Gus passed the stop with a 10. He set the money next to Hunter.
And landed on another house and shook his head when Willow offered him the house stack.
Hunter got a 3 Willow got a 10 and they hit the stop.
Hunter got a 2 and paid Luz and Willow got a 3 they landed on the house they both shook their heads no at once.
Luz got to the baby stop and got a 6 she put a peg she pulled at random into her car.
Luz got a 10 and landed on an action after paying Hunter she grabbed her payday she grabbed her action.
“Karate classes pick an opponent both do a cool karate chop and spin bank pays the highest spinner seventy k"
Luz grinned wickedly “Hunter”
He eyed her warily but stood.
Okay, you have to do this she screeched and did an over-the-top karate chop. After almost a minute of coaxing, he did the same though, he was much calmer. Luz grumbled about how it wasn’t embarrassing enough

Hunter got a 5 Willow got a 3 and they landed on a girl baby square. Willow tried not to think about it and blushed as she added the baby to the car.

Amity got an 8 and landed on the risky road / safe route. She looked at Luz
“Risky road could make you win or lose money safe route doesn’t have those risks. Amity nodded and turned her car to the safe route."
She got a five and her action said to Take a dream vacation. Pick an opponent both spin the highest spin gets 20k to spend on vacation.

Hunter spun a 9 so did Willow. They paid Gus 40k and got to the stop.
Willow and Hunter landed on another house and Willow and Hunter said no again.
Luz landed on the stop and took the risky road. She landed on an action. “Start an online business; pay the bank 50k?” she groused "I should be making money.”
Amity spun and got an action
She read the card ”Be nice for a price ask everyone if they’d like a drink collect fifty k from anybody who says yes and get the drinks no, really get the drinks.”
Amity looks around Willow shakes her head no so does Luz but Gus says yes
Amity walks towards the door but is grabbed by Hunter
“let go of me.”
“No”
What was going on was this a coven thing?
"I’m not letting you take the owl ladies' stuff. You seem smart but you must be stupid” he glares at her.
“I mean it let go of me.” She tries to shake his grip even using a self-defense move. He grimaces in pain but doesn’t let go.
"I am not going to let you experience the consequences of your reckless actions. The owl lady isn’t doing anything on my watch.”
“Hunter” Luz raises her hands carefully “let go of Amity”
“Why? We might not like each other but it’s my job to protect the citizens of the Boiling Isles. It's my duty, one that I chose. And I am not letting a civilian cross the owl lady."
Just then Amity twists again and makes it out of his grip his expression turns self-condemning and he luges to grab her again.
He fails and they wind up in a standoff staring at each other Hunter placing himself in a protective position in front of the door.
Gus laughs awkwardly "I could cancel my drink order."
“No Gus” Amity grits out “I’ll get you your drink.”
She pulls out Ghost's staff and Hunter grabs Flapjack.
Willow knows what’s going on Hunter thinks The Owl Lady is dangerous because that is what the real danger said.
Willow pops up between the two.
“Hunter it's okay” He looks a little surprised and lowers Flapjack slightly.
“You just said you don’t think Amity is stupid right?” Willow questioned
“Yes,” he says cautiously
“Then don’t you think that she would have chosen to discard the card if it held any real danger?”
“Don’t you think our parents would have never let us come here if we were in any real danger?” (she decided not to mention Amity’s parents didn’t want her here. That had nothing to do with danger anyway)
“Amity knows that she won’t be in danger. We know she won’t all of us know the owl lady better than you.”
“Yep” Luz pipes in “The worst danger is from the drinks themselves and even that is minor. The worst I get is a stomach ache and that’s probably since I’m human.”
Hunter looks between Willow and Luz “Allow me to accompany you” he says in a commanding tone
“Hunter, manners. Also, apologize to Amity for grabbing her. That was incredibly uncool.” "This isn’t like when I try to walk into a fight. This is a normal situation at my house.”
He bowed his head “My apologies for man-handling you. I simply-”
“No buts,” Luz said strictly
Hunter looked annoyed for a second but turned back to Amity “My apologies. Please let me accompany you for your protection”
Amity glared at him but when she saw Luz’s hopeful expression she relented.
“Let's all go.”
Everyone nodded and started to stand
Amity stopped Gus- “Your coming defeats the entire point. You stay here”
He shrugged and they walked downstairs
Willow saw they had Gus’s favorite drink.
”Eda we're grabbing something” Luz shouted
Hunter’s eyes widened in horror but Eda simply shouted back
“If you make a mess you will be the one cleaning it up this time kiddo”
“Okay Eda”
They all walked back upstairs.
Amity handed Gus his drink and he took a sip

Hunter consulted the rules. “It says to spin it until it reaches a number with a dot on it”
The next time it landed on 9 and Luz collected her 200k
Hunter gets a 7 Willow gets a 6 which rounds down to 6. Their action read

six through ten is one hundred k
Hunter and Willow both get 1s
They collect their 50ks. Willow goes to collect 250k for their payday but there aren’t enough 50s in the bank. Willow trades in one of their 50s to make 300k
Luz spun again for the risky road. She gets a 3 and lands on lose 100k she puts the money in the bank in 50ks
Amity gets a 3 and passes a payday she collects. Her action says
“Pass your driving test tell everyone what car you got” Amity pays the bank 50k and ignores the human world prompt.
Gus gets a 4 and lands on another house he chooses not to buy one again.
Hunter gets a 10 and pays Gus. Willow gets a 1 and they land on a payday.
Luz gets a 3 and passes a payday. She lands on Spin it to win it
Luz places her pieces at 1 and 9
Gus puts his at 5
Amity sets hers at 7
And Willow and Hunter put theirs at 8
It lands on 7 and Amity collects
Amity gets an 8 and hits retirement first. The bank pays her 400k for first retirement. She chooses the cottage. She starts to count her money.
Gus spins a 2 and lands on payday he collects his 100k
Hunter gets an 8 Willow gets a 5 and they land on the space before the risky road
Luz gets a 10 and pays Hunter his money passing two paydays and landing on an action
Run a marathon pick an opponent both show off your warm-up moves and spin. Bank pays the highest spinner 100k for natural athleticism.
Luz grins at Hunter this time the grin looks proud “Hunter”
Cal- Hunter does a complete multi-step warmup with an obvious knowledge of what should be done before a run. Luz managed to touch her toes and do a couple of stretches which she seemed content with

Hunter handed Luz the money.
Gus debateed for a moment going back and forth before choosing the risky road. He spun again passed the risky road and went straight to a payday. He collects before gesturing to Hunter and Willow
Hunter gets a 9 and pays Gus. Willow gets a 5 and they're on the risky road
It seems like fun to Willow “Let's do it” she looks at Hunter I mean if you’re okay”
“I agree” She smiles at him. His formality is adorable when she doesn’t focus on why he is formal.
Sadly then Spin a 7 and 6 they land on red and pay 100k
Luz spins a one and lands on Spin it to win it She places her pieces on 2 and 10
Amity adds hers to 7
Gus chooses one
And Hunter and Willow pick 8
The first two times the spinner catches the third it's on a 4 the fourth time it's a 6 the fifth a second 4 and the sixth it finally hits 10. Luz collects.
Gus lands on a payday and collects
An 8 for Hunter and 1 for Willow gives them a 5 and after paying Amity their action says they're going to make their yard and adventure playground and pay the bank 30k.
Luz spun an 8 and reached retirement second making 300k. She joins Amity in the cottage and also sets about counting her money.
Gus got a four- his action read "Your pet goat wins a ribbon. Tell everyone its name." he grinned "Elliot Stephah third of their line” gus declared
Hunter and Willow both get 4s they pass a payday and land on an action
Shipwrecked on a desert island everyone spins to see how long they're stranded
one through five collect twenty-k
six through ten is fifty-k
Gus gets a 4
Hunter gets a 9 Willow gets a 5
Amity also gets a nine
And Luz gets a two.
The bank pays out. Hunter and Willow exchange four 100s for a 500k
Gus gets a two on his spin his action reads-
"Start a family band what would everyone play? I would be vocals and drums and dad would be vocals and gui-scar." He pays the bank the 30k the card specifies.

They pass a payday and land on a spin it to win it.
Hunter puts his on 8 and Willow lays her's on 10 they exchange a look to see if each other disagrees but they both seem fine with each other's choices

Gus spins a 9 and pays Willow. He retires third for 200k he goes to the millionaire's mansion
Willow and Hunter spin this time is large enough to retire and they land in the middle and collect the 100k bonus.

She’d spun for the house and gotten red 3010k give or take a bit her paydays had a couple of mistakes.
He paid off his debt and spun black for his house and his final total was (they were pretty sure) 2140k
And Willow’s and Hunter’s broke down to 2405 split and 4810 together
Luz cheered "You win Amity"
Amity was smiling at Luz I’m happy you got second Cal-Hunter looked a little nervous too but happy even gus in last was smiling Willow was happy. She thought about her own choice for the g-related money word- grateful she was very grateful she decided she never thought this day would come but she was happy it was here.
