2018.

There are two things that makes Kim Bora tick:

1. People who don't know how to clean after their messes.

2. Some Fine Arts student named Han Dong who keeps pushing herself at her, thinking she has a chance.

Don't get her wrong, it's not that Handong is a criminal or a secret mafia boss that is out to get them. It's just that the woman was leagues away from her.

The Fine Arts student spends more time in the music room and skate parks than in review centers and classrooms — a delinquent in the eyes of someone like Bora, who has a very flexible body thanks to her ballet lessons, a very decorated background, and beauty that has everyone smitten.

And now, the said woman is right in front of her classroom yet again, much to Bora's chagrin.

Her classmates greeted the Fine Arts student as they exited the room, some even striking a brief conversation with her before leaving the woman behind. Bora sighed deeply. How is she going to face Handong this time cause she's running out of options to take.

"Bora," Minji, Bora's best friend for god knows how long, approaches the woman who was still deeply rooted on her seat. "Handong is at it again." Minji eyes the Fine Arts students and grimaces. "Ew, does she even have proper clothes?"

Sooyeon, a classmate who overheard their conversation, butts in. "I think it's cool." She says, examining the woman's clothes. "She has taste."

"Taste?" Minji turns to Sooyeon with a frown. "You call a baggy shirt, baggy pants, and a pair of Vans taste?" The woman shudders. "You'll never catch me wearing those, not even in my sleep."

Bora bites the insides of her lips. Her eyes darted to Handong who is now talking to Wendy, whom Bora shares History classes with. The woman laughs at something before slapping Wendy's arm lightly.

If you'd put her in a lie detector test right now, Bora would be caught lying when she says she doesn't like Handong in any form or way.

Handong is a charming lad and it is very evident due to the fact that a lot of people in their campus fall in love with her. Even the infamous Choi Tzuyu, an Engineering student who has a reputation for being an 'Ice Princess', and Yeh Shuhua, who's sharp tongue could cut even the most confident person in the world into two, cannot escape Handong's charming smiles and infectious laughter—

Did she just call her laughter infectious? Man, Bora you're down bad.

The woman shakes her head as if it helps to get rid of her thoughts that are full of Handong. Bora stood up, gathered her things and marched down the door, leaving a confused Minji and Sooyeon in her wake.

"Oh, hello, Bora!" Handong greets as the woman passes by her. "How's Economy class?"

"What are you doing here?" Bora asks coldly as she sped up. Handong, god bless her long legs, was able to catch up to Bora. "How many times do I have to tell you to stop coming to my class!?"

"I just wanted to check up on you," Handong replies, tucking her skateboard underneath her arm and securing her guitar on the other to keep it from falling. "Before I head out."

"Well, Romeo, thanks for your concern." Bora abruptly stops, forcing Handong as well. The Business Administration student and glares. "But I don't need you to."

"Wait," Handong calls out as Bora continues marching down the hallway. "I have a show this Wednesday with the gang, do you want to come by Polaris Pub?"

"No thanks.

"Not even a peek?" Handong pouts.

Bora rolls her eyes. "If you think your charm works on everyone. Then, news flash: it doesn't work on me. So stop pouting."

Handong decides to walk ahead and faces her, matching Bora's pace despite walking backwards. "But I think it is, you're blushing."

Fuck. Bora averted her gaze so that Handong wouldn't be able to see more of her cheeks being heated up. "Then sorry to break your fantasies. It's makeup."

Handong shrugs.

"So, 8pm? Wednesday?" Handong asks once again. Bora groans. She really tries so hard to push her luck. "Please, Bora?"

But Bora ignores her and picks up her pace even harder, leaving Handong in the hallway.

The duo enters the cafeteria and does their usual business; gossip about the students, occasionally giving out jabs and nicknames that would conceal their identities whenever they talk about them in public.

Bora sees Handong passing by the door of the cafeteria again and how she is bombarded by her bandmates, Kim Yoohyeon and Lee Siyeon. Lee Yubin, another member of their small band, pats Handong by the back, as if to comfort her.

"Did you see Handong's expression when Bora left her in the hallway a while ago?" She hears Minji ask her. "Oh, that reminds me."

Bora ignores her because her attention is still locked on the cafeteria door where she could still see Handong and her band members. Minji follows her gaze before slapping the table, snapping the woman out of her reverie.

"Earth to Kim Bora?" Minji questions, both eyebrows raised. Bora blinks at her, confused. "Are you even listening?"

"Sorry, what were you saying?"

"I was saying," Minji points to Handong's figure. "You want to get rid of her right?"

"Yeah?" Bora answers hesitantly.

"Why don't you," Minji waves her hands. That can never be good. "Accept her invitation then dump her in front of everyone? That way you'll get rid of her! Case closed!"

"What!?" Bora stares at Minji as if she grew two heads. "Why the hell would I do that?!"

"Duh, you said you wanted her out of your way right? Then here's a way."

"I'm— I'm not gonna do that! I mean not in that way!"

"Oh, wow." Minji laces both of her fingers and looks at Bora, as if to analyze whatever is running inside her head. "Since when did you have a soft spot for that skater girl?"

Bora swallows hard. They're never gonna hear her say that somehow, the said skater girl had captured a part of her and wanted Handong the same way she does. But like they say, Handong is leagues away from someone like Kim Bora.

And two worlds that don't fit each other shouldn't meet nor collide. And that is the harsh truth.

Handong shoots a glance at Bora at the same time she does at Handong, making their eyes meet. Bora breaks away first before her eyes land back at her friend. Minji was still looking at her, impatiently waiting for her answer.

"Okay, tell me more about it." Bora answers begrudgingly.

Five Years After (2023)

Channels were flipped over and over, lighting up the dark room. Empty packets of chips and bottles of cola layed on the floor haphazardly.

Bora groans. "A golden subscription fee yet there is no good show on these goddamn cable channels." She grumbles, pressing on the buttons on her remote mindlessly.

After college, Bora got accepted at a company in New York City, forcing her to move away from home. She and Minji still keep in touch, occasionally going out to drink and catch up with the latest things that happened in their lives since they only live a couple of miles away from her.

But her life was pretty much different from what she had back in college; it was mundane, not as sparkly and no skater girls chasing her ass twenty-four seven or fellow schoolmates squealing silently as they could as she passed by.

Speaking of a skater girl, she wonders how Handong is doing.

Bora shakes the thought away. God, it has been five years, why isn't she over that woman? She continues to flip through shows until she stumbles across the music channel, a band is currently playing some random song on stage and Bora immediately shoots up from the couch she was sitting on. She could recognize that voice from anywhere.

"Handong?"

Indeed her suspicion was confirmed when the camera pans to Handong. If the woman was charming before, then she's now drop-dead gorgeous; black locks, bangs to boot, biceps that could probably snap Bora's neck into half, dark make-up, and a crop top that shows— oh my god are those abs?

Man, if Bora was gay before then she's even gayer now.

Bora stares at the TV as Handong continues to slam on her guitar. Confidence radiates from the woman, far from her timid self back in college.

The band ends the song and they all bid their thanks. Bora shuts the TV off and slumps down her seat. She didn't know Handong had gone through such a change to the point she's unrecognizable. If it weren't for her voice, Bora would be immediately smitten, but all now she could feel is embarrassment and… regret?

Why am I even thinking of this? Bora thought to herself as she picked up her phone from the table before her. Scanning through her contacts, her fingers hover above Minji's name, until a call snaps her out of it.

It was Minji calling.

Before Bora could say hello, Minji squeals in her ear, causing her to wince. "Calm down, Minji. God." She says.

"I'm sorry. I am just excited." Minji's voice rang out. "Anyways—"

"Minji, did you see Handong performing at MTV a while ago?" Bora cuts her off. "Not only her, she's with Siyeon, Yubin, and Yoohyeon. I didn't know their band made it through college."

"Well, duh. Their band got famous after college. Someone from a famous recording company, Happyface is the name if I'm not mistaken, heard them singing at Polaris and immediately signed them a contract."

"Oh." Why didn't she know of this? Oh right, she dumped her. So why would Handong bother telling her? And how the hell did Minji know that much anyways?

"Anyways, I called because I got us tickets for their concert this weekend! Wanna come?"

"Since when did you become a fan of theirs?"

"After I listened to Reason. That song was so good!"

Bora tries to think of options she could take. She could either lie to Minji that she got a fever that weekend and couldn't come or she could tag along and see how Handong is doing.

"Um, I don't know Minji." Of course, we're talking about Bora here, her pride matters more than anything. "I think—"

"Don't you dare miss out on this!" Minji screeches. "Do you know how hard it is to get tickets to their show?! All of their concerts are sold out! I got lucky since I managed to bribe someone to get some extras for us!"

Bora sighed. "Alright, fine! When and what time?"

"Tomorrow, at eight! I'll be fetching you a bit early though, I can't miss out on the parking space."

Guess despite the fact she said her and Handong's world could never collide, the universe is doing everything to make sure it does in order for Bora to suffer.

"Okay, fine. I'll come."

"Yay! See you tomorrow, Bora! Mwa!"

Bora ends up the call and throws her phone across the couch. She sinks immediately and sighs deeply, what is she going to do now?

The following day and true to her word, Minji did arrive earlier than the scheduled concert. Bora rolls her eyes when Minji's BMW honks outside of her home alongside a shout of 'get in bitch!'.

"You're gonna disturb my neighbors with that loudmouth of yours." Bora grumbles as she enters the car.

"Oh please, I'm very tame. I mean have you heard your voice when you're drunk?"

Bora rolls her eyes. "So, where are we going?"

"At the concert hall, of course."

"I know, smartass. I meant where."

"Forest Hill Stadium." The car starts to move as Minji drives down Bora's neighborhood. The said woman chokes on her own spit. "A lot of people are dying to see them here so they rented out the biggest venue they could find. That's why the tickets were sold out fast."

"What's so special about them anyway? They're just some typical pop punk bands, like those people Boy Fall Out or Low All Time guys."

"It's Fall Out Boy and All Time Low, Bora." Minji corrects her.

"Whatever. You still didn't answer my question."

"Well, they are the full package; they have the looks, talents, not to mention they are nice to their fans." Minji looks at Bora and finds her scowling. "Oh come on, give them a chance."

"Why would I?"

"Look," The car stops at a red light. "We have to move past our relationship with them back in college. I even talked to them a while back after I accidentally ran over them at my local grocery shop. They are nice and it makes me feel bad that I looked down on them back then just because they're… well different from us."

"Oh, wow, is this Kim Minji's redemption era? No wonder you knew that they got scouted by someone from Happyface."

"Please." Minji groans. "But I am serious though, give them a second chance. Especially Handong. Who knows right?"

Bora doesn't answer.

They arrive an hour later and much to Minji's glee, there is still enough space left to park her car. The two enter the venue and see that the concert grounds are almost full. So they immediately rushed to their places and waited for the concert to start.

Minutes later, the strum of a guitar caught everyone's attention, including them. Turns out the concert was starting; Yubin emerged underneath the stage first as she started hitting on the drums, followed by Yoohyeon and Siyeon, who are manning the keyboard and bass guitar respectively.

Bora held her breath as Handong appeared last. Slinged around her is her old black and white Yamaha electric guitar, her signature. Handong started singing some song that Bora doesn't know about and everyone around her started going wild, even Minji.

A lot of people would find it weird that she's at their concert but doesn't know at least one song, but Bora doesn't care about that. All she cares about is that Handong is there, so close yet so far for Bora to reach.

Handong's eyes darts to where Bora is but doesn't really look at her directly, but instead way past her, making Bora's hope of Handong noticing her in the crowd dwindle into half.

"Good evening, New York!" Handong greets with much energy and the crowd goes wild once again. "Welcome to the first leg of our Maison US concert! I hope you'll have a good time with us!"

The crowd cheers. "To those who are new here, we are Dreamcatcher! I am Handong, the rhythm guitarist and lead vocalist. On the bass is Lee Siyeon," Siyeon waves. "On the keyboard is Kim Yoohyeon," Yoohyeon pumps her fist. "And on the drums we have Lee Yubin!" Yubin pounds the drums with a huge grin. The crowd makes some noise once again.

"Like Dongie said, I hope you'll have a good time with us tonight 'cause we prepared something extra for you guys!" Yoohyeon speaks out next and Bora swore she almost went deaf with how loud Minji squealed. "I think they'll like it, since it is something we have prepared for a long time now."

"Well, we can't speak on behalf of our fans, so I'll let them judge our new stuff." Siyeon answers Yoohyeon. "Is everyone excited to know about it!?"

The crowd answers a loud 'yes'. "Okay, since they are clearly excited to know what it is, let's go to our next song. Next up, our latest song, Vision!"

The song starts but Bora is about to make a sound or move. She had been rooted in her place since the concert started, her eyes never leaving Handong as she and her bandmates rocked the stage.

She's no longer the Handong I knew. She thought as Handong interacted with the crowd in front of the stage. She's now a superstar. She's no longer that dual colored hair skater girl I once dumped back in college.

Two songs later, the band picks up their water bottles and takes a sip. "Wow, can't believe all of you are still this energetic huh?" Yubin teases as the band takes a short break. "Well, I am too actually."

"Yubs, I think it's time." Handong says and the crowd screams. "I think it's time for them to know."

"Know what, Dongie?" Yubin feigns innocence.

"It's time for them to know I'm leaving," Handong says and the crowd gasps. "No! Not that kind of leaving!" Handong says in a panic, trying to pacify the crowd. "Come on guys, you know I love you and the band that much. I'm just leaving the stage because I am going to fetch a special guest!"

The crowd cheers loudly and Handong giggles. "That special guest is going to help us give you our special surprise! So," Handong backs down. "Be right back!"

Handong runs behind to the stage and the trio continues to interact with the fans. Soon, Handong's voice rang out, informing the rest that she's about to come back.

"Everyone!" Handong greets the crowd. "Are you excited to see our special guest?" The crowd answers a 'yes'. "Alright! That's the spirit! So, our guest for the night is a very special person, not just to our band but also to myself. So, let us give a warm welcome to Lee Gahyeon!"

Minji and Bora gawk as their former nerdy classmate, Lee Gahyeon enters the stage. The band greets her and Gahyeon envelopes them each into a hug before running towards Handong.

"Hello, everyone!" Gahyeon says over the mic. "I'm Lee Gahyeon and I am going to join Dreamcatcher tonight! So, I hope you'll treat me well!"

Yoohyeon started to press random keys on her keyboard. "Dongie, go introduce our next song!"

"Alright," Handong takes her position beside Gahyeon. "As a special gift to everyone, you'll be the first to hear our upcoming single. This is, again, very special because this is the first time we've collaborated with someone, not just for the vocals but also for the creative process. We present to you, Sk8er Girl!"

The band starts to play the instrumentals and the crowd starts to jump and down, all except Minji and Bora who couldn't believe that Gahyeon, the university's resident nerd, was up there on stage with their former schoolmates. But soon Minji joins the fever, leaving Bora alone to process everything.

She was a girl, she's also a girl

Can I make it any more obvious

She was a punk, she did ballet

What more can I say?

Bora starts to frown. Is the song talking about their story? No, wait, that can't be right.

She was a skater girl, she said, "see you later girl"

She wasn't good enough for her

She had a pretty face, but her head was up in space

She needed to come back down to Earth

Okay, this is definitely about them.

Five years from now, she sits at home

Feedin' the baby, she's all alone

She turns on TV, guess who she sees?

Skater girl rockin' up MTV

Bora immediately had a flashback to her conversation with Minji yesterday. Why does she feel like Handong set this all up? Or maybe it was just a coincidence.

She calls up her friends, they already know

And they've all got have tickets to see her show

She tags along and stands in the crowd

Looks up to the woman that she turned down

Handong inches near to Gahyeon and jams beside her. Siyeon and Yoohyeon entertain the crowd on both ends of the stage while Yubin continues to pound on the drums with much gusto.

Bora looks away as the song progresses on. Guilt and regret finally catching up to her. Minji, who has zero clue about what the song is about, screams at her ear about the song being a major hit once this comes out but Bora paid no attention to it.

She was a skater boy, she said, "see you later, girl"

She wasn't good enough for her

Now she's a superstar slammin' on her guitar

Does your pretty face see what she's worth?

Bora looks up as Gahyeon sings the chorus and meets her eye. The woman was clearly trying to tell her something and she doesn't like it.

Gahyeon inches closer to the stage and kneels, maintaining eye contact with Bora as she interacts with the fans near the stage.

Sorry, girl, but you missed out

Well, tough luck, that girl's mine now

We are more than just good friends

This is how the story ends

Air was immediately knocked out of Bora's lungs as Gahyeon continued singing. Does she mean—

She's just a girl, and I'm just a girl

Can I make it any more obvious?

We are in love, haven't you heard

How we rock each other's world?

No way.

Bora couldn't believe it. Gahyeon and Handong are together now? How is that possible? She could see Gahyeon slightly smirking at her before standing up again, jumping around with Handong, wide smiles sent to one another.

I'm with the skater girl

I said, "See you later, girl"

I'll be backstage after the show

I'll be at our studio

Singin' the song we wrote

About a girl you used to know

I'm with the skater girl

I said, "See you later, girl"

I'll be backstage after the show

I'll be at our studio

Singin' the song we wrote

About a girl you used to know

The band gave out a final strum of their guitars, pound of drums, and mash of keyboards as the song ended. Gahyeon raises her fist in the air and Handong immediately snakes her arm around Gahyeon's waist and hugs her tightly sideways, subtly telling everyone that she made her claim and no one is allowed to approach her.

And to let Bora know that they are indeed together.

When the concert ends, they didn't expect that they'll run to the band during their trip to the bathroom.

"Oh my god, that was so good, Gahyeon! Good job!" Minji says as she enveloped the young woman into a hug. Gahyeon thanked her. "You too guys, that is going to be a hit!"

"Thank you." Handong says, grinning sheepishly. Despite the fact that they are now worldwide superstars, Handong's shyness towards compliments never changes. "I am actually scared that no one would like it cause it's more on the pop punk side than our usual songs."

"No one?! What do you mean?! Everyone loved it!" Minji exclaims. "Right, Bora?"

Bora doesn't answer since she is dazed as she maintains her gaze at Gahyeon and Handong. Minji notices this and nudges her. "Hey, Earth to Bora?"

"That song," Bora starts. "That was about us, wasn't it?" She asks Handong.

"Yeah. Is there something wrong?"

"Are you trying to mock me?"

"Woah, woah, Bora." Handong raises her hands mid-air in an attempt to pacify the woman. "Why would you think of that?"

"Answer my question, Handong!"

"No! I just thought that experience is too good not to be turned into a song." Handong explains, rubbing her head. "I mean, a lot of people must have felt the same way or went under the same thing as I did back in college. And it could be something they could relate to."

"Babe, I'll meet you in the dressing room. Your manager is probably looking for you." Bora hears Gahyeon whispering to Handong as she pushes the band towards the direction of the said room. "Go, I'll meet you there."

The band nods hesitantly before leaving. Only Bora, Minji, and Gahyeon remained.

"And you," Bora turns to Gahyeon. "Really? A nerd hooking up with a skater girl?!"

"Why? What's wrong with it?" Gahyeon questions. "If you think I stole her from you, well news flash: I didn't. And besides, can't you remember? You dumped and humiliated her in front of everyone back in college."

Five Years Ago (2018) - Polaris Pub

Handong kept looking at her watch, waiting for Bora and her friends to drop by since they agreed to watch their show tonight.

The air is surprisingly chilly for a Wednesday night, right in the middle of summer that is. But Handong didn't mind, her name literally means winter so a little cold doesn't bother her.

"Hey."

Handong looks up and sees Bora and Minji approaching her. All of them dressed up a bit too much compared to the people in the pub, making Handong a bit self-conscious.

"So, this is the place huh." Minji says, eyeing the pub and the people surrounding the place. "Is this where, like," She motions to Handong, hands going up and down as if to talk about her outfit and personality. "You guys hang out?"

Handong looks around. Most of the patrons at the Polaris pub are students who are into metal and rock like them, so their usual get-up isn't far from what Handong has in her wardrobe. But there are also some patrons who are just regular students that aren't into rock but want to ease the stress from their classes by drinking the night away.

"Um," Handong answers. "Yeah. Mostly."

Just in time, Siyeon and Yoohyeon were exiting the pub and saw Handong with the duo. "Oh man, these two are here." Siyeon whispers to Yoohyeon. "That can't be good."

"Why does Dongie bother inviting them anyway? Aren't they into classical music and all that shit?" Yoohyeon asks. Siyeon shrugs.

"That is because, my friend," Siyeon pats Yoohyeon on the shoulder one time. "Dongie is down bad for Bora. But Bora doesn't give a shit about her. It's just sad, really."

Yoohyeon couldn't agree more.

Siyeon shakes her head before she leads Yoohyeon to a nearby crowd to meet some of their friends while Handong leads Bora and Minji inside.

"Welcome to Polaris." Handong says, letting the trio settle down at the nearby table. "May I get you anything? My treat."

"Just juice and whatever… food they offer here." Bora says without meeting Handong's eyes. She fishes out her phone from her pocket and starts typing away.

Handong nods briefly before leaving to get their orders. The duo falls into a conversation until Handong returns minutes later with a large plate of fish n' chips and two glasses of blue lemonade.

"Oh, fish n' chips! Thanks, Handong." For the first time, Minji smiles at the skater. Maybe she isn't so bad. "You may go." The smile then falls as she waves her off. Okay, maybe she was wrong.

Handong clears her throat. "Oh, um, my band is gonna play in a minute so I hope you'll like our setlist tonight."

"We'll see." Bora answers, nonchalant.

"Oh, okay. Well, um, enjoy your stay then."

Handong leaves but soon gets caught up with Yubin who is with Song Yuqi, a sophomore from their department. Bora caught sight of this and her look turned her sour. Good thing Minji didn't see it because she was busy gossiping about Lee Taeyong and Hwang Hyunjin from their university's Dance Company who were also there to support the band.

Bora was still trying if it is possible to melt someone down by staring at them when the mic made a noise, snapping her out of her trance. Handong, Siyeon, Yoohyeon took their places on stage while Yubin started conditioning herself.

Handong stood in the middle, Siyeon on her left, Yoohyeon on the right, while Yubin stayed behind her.

"Hello, everyone. We are Dreamcatcher, a four man band from the Music Department." Handong spoke over the mic, her velvety voice earned squeals from her fangirls while her fanboys cheered. Their friends whistled to encourage everyone to cheer even more. "Thanks for coming by Polaris tonight, I know everyone still has classes tomorrow morning."

Someone from the crowd screamed 'anything for you guys!', making everyone laugh. Handong grins. "Well, since all of you made time just to be here tonight, we'll make your time worthwhile. So, without further ado, we'll be playing the song that everyone has been requesting. Sit back and enjoy."

Handong strums the guitar first, and everyone immediately had an idea of what song they were about to play. Well, everyone except the duo sitting by the window. They were never a fan of rock, it was too messy for their liking. If it was something from Destiny's Child or Kelly Clarkson then they might recognize it right away, sing to it even.

They found out minutes later that the song was entitled 'Best I Ever Had' by some band named Vertical Horizon or whatever it is. Bora eyed the skater as she was lost in her own world, singing her hearts out as her fingers played with the strings of her black and white Yamaha electric guitar.

The words Minji told her days ago echoed inside her head and despite the hesitation, Bora heeded to it because she was right; Handong doesn't deserve her.

After 'Best I Ever Had' came 'Iris' next, followed by more songs Bora doesn't know about. And when the band announced they'll be taking a break, Handong immediately places down her guitar on the stand and approaches the duo.

"How did I do?" Handong asks with a large smile, breath slightly heaving with all the singing she did.

Bora slowly claps and stands up, "That was great, Handong."

"Really?"

"Yep, but you know what's even greater? The songs you picked? It's shit." Bora says a little too loud, earning the attention of everyone inside the pub. Handong was taken aback.

"Oi, Bora!" Taeyong warns. But Bora pays no attention to her.

"What's even funny is that you keep shooting your shot even though you know very clearly that you don't have a chance." Bora continues. "Look at you. You don't even fit in my standard because you're leagues away from it. So, drill that into your head and just stop."

"I—"

"Stop." Bora jabs Handong just above the chest using her pointer finger. "Talking." A jab. "To." Bora jabs a bit hard, making Handong stumble and the skater falls into the ground. "Me! God, you're so fucking annoying!"

Everyone in the pub went silent and Bora could feel everyone glaring at her. "Wow, way to ruin the night, Kim Bora." One of the students said and everyone chimed in. "Get out of here if you keep spoiling the fun."

Handong lowers her head until a short woman with a bob cut approaches her and picks her up off the ground, whispering something to her before escorting her out of the pub.

Present Day.

Gahyeon looks at Bora who is clearly embarrassed after she recalled the events that happened five years ago.

"You were the one who took Handong away that night?" Bora asks.

Gahyeon nods. "It's your loss, Bora. You're too much of a snob to see what Handong is way past her skateboards and guitars." The woman says after a moment of silence.

Bora clenched her fist and was about to retort but Gahyeon was right. She made fun of Handong, and now she can never take her back.

"You're right." Bora said in defeat. "Just… tell Handong I'm sorry alright?"

"No, tell that to her in person. I'm sure she'll listen to you." Gahyeon offers her a small smile. "Not now but someday."

Bora nods. The regret might still be there but hope did come by to tell that someday she'll be able to fix whatever happened.

She just hopes Handong forgives her.
