In 2020, nine NWSL teams were invited to inaugurate the first ever NWSL Challenge Cup.Eight teams went.Nearly half the Orlando Pride - a handful of rookies, a new trade, a few veterans - decided to risk their safety on the governor's say-so and go out to a bar, despite the declaration of a 'bubble' to keep the teams safe. Many of them and some members of staff subsequently came down with COVID.In the Krieger-Harris household, the youngest member - Ali and Ashlyn's young, rebellious teammate Emily Sonnett - has just confessed her part in the wrongdoing, and is apprehensive about what's to come.She, however, has the least to worry about....
