Chapter 6

Marcy stood motionless while Sasha on the other hand sprinted to the door, trying to catch up to Anne. Before the blonde could make her way out of the room Sprig jumped out in front of her, shutting the door. Successfully blocking the exit. Before Sasha could spit out an angry response Sprig spoke up.

"No, no, no! I know you don't like me but trust me, you do not want to follow her."

The two had a very clear hatred for each other since day one. From Sprig hiding countless bugs in Sasha's room to Sasha slicing Sprig's shoulder open during sparing practice (which was very much on purpose) and so on. He knew that his attempt to keep the blonde away from his sister wouldn't work, but he refused to not stand by his sister decision.

Sasha's eyes narrowed, her pupils shrinking, a flash of a dull yellow quickly colored her mismatch irises. "Move." She snarled, colored nails sharping the longer Sprig stood in front of the door. The boy shook his head, refusing to move. If Sasha took off he would never be able to catch her.

The angry teenager bared her teeth letting out a growl as response, her teeth noticeably more sharp. Polly knew she had to be quick if she didn't want Sprig to end up with a broken nose again. Instead of talking Sasha down, which she knew was a lost cause, she turned to Marcy. Who still remind quiet and motionless.

"Okay, Marcy I know Sasha won't listen to me but I know she'll listen to you." Marcy's eyes trailed to Polly, still she remind silent. But she was listening. "Anne wants to- no needs to be alone. Just give her a second, kay? She'll come back."

Marcy's pupils shrunk her eyes unfocusing. Still she opted for silence. Polly sighed and turned back to Sasha and her brother. Hoping that Sasha at least heard her. She did not. In fact slam echoed across the room. Marcy and Polly both whipped their head around to see Sasha pinning Sprig against the door, her claws dangerously close to the boys throat.

"Sasha let him go now!" The artist had finally broke out of her trance, now yelling at her girlfriend. Sasha instantly let go of the boy with a rumble from her throat. Sprig fell, his knees bending in weird ways to stop him from hitting the floor. "Thanks" he squeaked. Sasha angrily looked at her girlfriend, who was now facing Polly.

"She?"

Marcy's day had been going up and down like a rollercoaster. Bad, then good, then bad again. It started off bad. First she couldn't get past a mission on dying light two, not only that but her favorite weapon broke on her in a middle of a zombie hoard. Then she figured out that the new student happened to rooming with her. Which shouldn't have been much of a surprise with the luggage on the spare bed. But Marcy just thought that stuff belonged to someone she knew. A lot of her friends hid things in her room as she never had to go through room inspection. But no. She figured out the hard way that her mom gave her a new roommate, without telling her at the very least!

Then it went good as she learned her new roomie was her childhood best friend who she hadn't seen in literal years. She'd have a (kinda) new friend who she knew wouldn't be threatened by Sasha if Marcy ever asked about her outfit. Maybe they could play video games together! Sasha had refused to play any pvp games against Marcy for a while now.

But then it went bad, again. As she learned that she completely misgendered her old friend/new roommate. Now even more angry at her mom for not telling about her new roommate- or anything about them!

Marcy sat on rugged floor while Sasha sat on her girlfriends bed. "Her names Anne?" The blonde asked. The pair of siblings who sat on the rug as well nodded in unison. "Yeah. She plays tennis and does gymnastics. She likes the color yellow and blue. Favorite show is AJ and the queen, favorite movie Love Choice. She loves Blackpink and really hates pineapple on pizza. Like really really hates it." Polly explained, "trust me. If you so much as mention it she'll literally pin you to a wall."

Sprig nodded in agreement. "I found out the hard way." He still shivers at the memory. The only time he had ever seen her that mad was when she heard news that Love Choice Two was postponed for a couple more years. That was a dark day.

Okay. Marcy could definitely work with that. She and Sasha both loved Blackpink and Love Choice. AND Marcy was allergic to pineapple! She definitely- possibly- maybe salvage her friendship. Yeah! She had to stay hopeful. She would stay hopeful. Before Marcy and Sasha could ask any more questions a loud bell rung throughout the school, signalling the five minutes remaining of free time. "Damnit. Okay, whatever. Thanks for the help now get the fuck out." Sasha ordered leaving the comfort of her girlfriends bed before walking to her side of the dorm room. She and Marcy would both have to be quick if they wanted to put their uniforms back on and get to class on time.

The siblings shrugged making their way out of the room and to their next class. "You think Anne will like them?" Polly asked as the the two made their way to the exit of Wartwood hall. Sprig shrugged, "I hope. I mean they were friends before. And Anne can befriend pretty much anyone so probably. But if not she can always switch rooms"

His sister nodded as the two made their way to the end of the hall before breaking off and going their separate ways.
