Chapter 8
It was Saturday and Wednesday was really curious to see what Larissa had planned for them. She kept looking at her watch. However, she still had time. She decided to go through her wardrobe and ask Thing what she could wear.
After going through her wardrobe completely, spreading the contents around the bedroom and finding that none of the many friendly blacks appealed to her, she sat down on the bed, frustrated.
"Thing, I don't know what to wear. I can't go naked after all."
Thing turned away shamefacedly to signal that it really wasn't possible. When suddenly her mobile buzzed. She reached for it and smiled as she read the name and opened the message.
L: Hey darling, I forgot to mention, put on something simple and take some sports clothes.
At least something you can move around in. And a change of clothes.
I look forward to seeing you later. ❤️
Wednesday got a sarcastic grin on her face. Oh that was a nice template. In a way she was really curious where it was going but it didn't hurt to tease Larissa a little either. So she wrote back.
W: Hey honey, now I'm a little surprised. Isn't the sport, with lots of leg room and better mobility better without clothes and within your own walls? I didn't know you had to go away and need clothes for that. 😏
It didn't take a minute for Wednesday to get a reply that made her laugh.
W: So I.... Actually... Wednesday Addams don't play with fire if you're in danger of getting burned by it.
Oh Wednesday had. She had set the bait and Larissa bit. Curious how far she could go now, she wrote back.
W: My dear, you should know how much I love fire and enjoy getting burned.
If the flames contain you, I will gladly let myself be burnt.
L: Be a good girl and be ready afterwards. 😘
Wednesday could take no more. She laughed and laughed so hard that even Thing was shaking because he was laughing too. He hadn't seen Wednesday like that for a long time and he liked it. Actually, Wednesday had never really laughed, but that had changed when Wednesday fell in love. The last few years there had not been a single mention of happiness, so he was very happy for her.
W: All right. I'll be ready. See you later ❤️
After what felt like another hour, she had finally managed to find suitable clothes. Sporty, casual and in a nice, friendly black. She went into the bathroom, took a hot shower and got ready.
She would deal with the mess later. There was no time now. She looked at her mobile and was shocked to see that the time had run out, because she only had 5 minutes left and, as she had expected, Larissa was on time.
She inwardly cursed her body and her situation. How could it be that she felt sick with excitement and was suddenly nervous. A feeling she absolutely didn't like.
Not wanting to keep Larissa waiting, she said goodbye to Thing and hurried out of the house. She opened the car door, got in and grinned when she saw Larissa, who seemed to be desperately trying not to let on how nervous she herself was.
"Do you have everything," she asked, to which Wednesday nodded. "Yes, I'm ready and have everything. We can go."
As they drove, Wednesday watched Larissa and again and again she couldn't understand how she could be so lucky.
"How were your days?" asked Larissa, curious about what the younger woman had experienced.
Wednesday looked at her and shrugged.
"Quiet. Things are quieter at the moment, thankfully, and I don't have as many assignments that take me out of the country."
Larissa raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean by out of the country. What do you do for a living?"
Wednesday chuckled. "I do what you cursed about me. As you said then. I'm sticking my nose where it doesn't belong? Well. I do just that and I get paid for it. Mind you, I'm my own boss."
Larissa had to laugh. What else could she have expected. Wednesday had a talent for researching everything. Explicitly matters that were really none of her business. She shook her head.
"That's nice, and I can imagine you're good at it."
After another ten minutes or so of driving, they were also at their destination. They got out, Larissa took a bag from the boot and reached for Wednesday's hand.
"Come on," she said smiling and Wednesday nodded.
They walked up the stairs, through a glass door and through another steel door before Wednesday heard the lock lock and the light come on.
Wednesday's eyes grew wide when she saw the hall. She wheeled around to look at Larissa.
"It's been a while, but I remember this one being on your wish list," Larissa said softly.
"You have no idea," Wednesday's voice rang out in a pitch that sent a shiver down Larissa's spine.
Larissa reached into her bag, pulled out a pair of black sports shorts and changed her clothes from skirt to shorts.
As she wrapped gaiters around her flat shoes, ankles and calves for stability, Wednesday looked at her, watching her intently. Larissa pointed to the open bag, which Wednesday peered into. Intrigued, she pulled out a black rapier and examined it closely.
"Your mother's rapier. I kept it after we won the fencing match. I thought you might like to have it."
Wednesday's eyes began to light up. She nodded at her and looked at it more closely. It really was her mother's style, for it was not just black, but decorated with silver ornaments and engraved with M. F.
"Thank you," Wednesday said softly, and Larissa smiled and nodded. "You're welcome, what do you think. Shall we get started?"
Slowly, almost dangerously, the corner of Wednesday's mouth pulled up. "Military rules?" she asked and Larissa nodded again.
"Fine by me, I have no problem with that."
Inwardly, Larissa hoped she was at least still well enough that the injuries wouldn't be too great.
Wednesday pulled another pair of gaiters out of the bag, wrapped them around her ankles and over her trouser legs so she couldn't get caught on anything.
on anything. Larissa stood two metres in front of Wednesday, who smiled happily at her.
Oh how Wednesday had wanted this. She remembered how she had been hit in the face because she had thought of Larissa and now she stood in front of her, in her stately size, the rapier pointed at her. She moved into foil position and waited for Wednesday to give her the okay.
Wednesday in turn grinned, knowing instantly what Larissa was doing. Morticia had shown her this technique. She remembered her mother saying that this old fencing was harder than the new modern. Wednesday copied her, which made Larissa laugh.
She nodded to the younger woman and received an affirmative nod back.
The first blows that came were more of a probing. Powerful yet careful to warm up.
Wednesday's eyebrow jumped up and she dodged Larissa's sudden blows with a counter-parry. A series of different appeals followed, which Larissa deflected, sometimes blocking Wednesday's attacks with an intermediate thrust.
They were both highly focused and Larissa had to admit to herself that the was enjoying it. She enjoyed that Wednesday let her be who she was.
That she didn't have to pretend. No matter how big the age difference was.
They parted and took a breath, looking at each other and laughing, when Wednesday suddenly spoke, "Not bad dear."
Larissa shook her head and laughed. "The same goes for you my dear."
Before Larissa had even finished the sentence, Wednesday had launched a dive attack, which Larissa was just able to dodge and block with a backward lunge.
Just you wait, thought Larissa. Wednesday played dirty, she could do that too. Manners or not.
She set up a deceptive manoeuvre and gave Wednesday a good slash when suddenly there was a ripping sound, Larissa's rapier aimed at Wednesday's chest, her shirt splitting at the stomach.
Horrified that her shirt had taken a big cut, Wednesday looked speechlessly at Larissa, who grinned smugly at her.
Okay, Wednesday thought, putting a speed to the ensuing attacks that Larissa had underestimated, and so in a few minutes Larissa found herself on her back, rapier at her throat, one leg between hers and lips inches from hers.
Larissa gulped and froze as she felt the pressure of the leg on her middle. Wednesday noticed Larissa struggling momentarily and giggled. "Did I mention that I really love seeing you like this?" she asked in response, increasing the pressure on her leg.
Larissa drew in her air sharply and swallowed. She concentrated to make the tugging between them legs bearable.
"Don't get too used to it darling," she purred a moment later and thrust her hips upwards, whereupon Wednesday, with a skilful roll forward
down.
Oh Larissa needed distance. This was close, far too close. A feeling she hadn't allowed to be like this in a long time spread through her body and clouded her mind.
She attacked, dodged, blocked until in a cross attack sharp buzzing and burning suddenly stopped her.
Confused, she looked down at herself and noticed her shirt hanging in several pieces on her torso. Wednesday's expression made her shiver, no expression at all. No grin, no smile, except for the eyes that sparkled wide open at her. Larissa followed the gaze to her stomach and realised that she had a cut on her skin where the blood ran out easily.
Without comment, Larissa moved back into the foil position and stared at Wednesday. Both were out of breath by now and fixated on each other. Most of Larissa's hair had fallen out of its braid and fell sweatily in front of her face.
Wednesday's mouth went dry and she thought she was losing her mind at the sight, because Larissa was on fire.... The way Larissa stood in front of her, breathing heavily, every muscle tense, ready to defend herself and fight back, had an appeal to her that drove her insane.
Something changed, however.
When Larissa realised how Wednesday was looking at her, she had to swallow hard, for it was no longer a simple, oh I see you, look.
Her eyes widened.
Oh my goodness, Larissa thought as she realised the smaller woman was looking at her as if she had become the prey of a nearly starved predator.
Wednesday began to circle her without comment, but Larissa stopped, not disregarding her. Her gaze followed the other woman every step of the way.
Since she assumed that Wednesday would attack her from behind, which had been Morticia's favourite tactic, she did not miss the attack but blocked it.
However, Wednesday was too close, so she dropped between Larissa's legs so she could stand in front of her and pulled the taller woman off her feet in one deft move.
Just as Wednesday was about to rejoice in her victory, she felt a hand close around her ankle and pull her down with it.
Both women lay completely twisted, hooked into each other on the floor, breathing heavily but smiling. They decided they had a lucky draw and stood up.
Wednesday felt better than she had in a long time. Exhausted and pumped full of endorphins. She rummaged in her bag, pulled out fresh clothes and followed Larissa to the showers.
She hadn't thought at all about what showering could do to her. How could it?!
She had never desired anyone the way she desired Larissa. She had never in her life felt anything like what she felt for the older woman.
Wednesday Addams was not a woman who was easily frightened, however what her own body was doing to her made the small woman panic slightly.
The idea that the woman she had loved since her youth was standing one cubicle away, naked, worried her. How she would have liked to just pull the curtain aside and stand in the shower with her.
Trying to push that thought aside, she undressed and went into her own cubicle, opened the regulator and enjoyed the hot water on her skin.
Separated only by a stone wall... Larissa stood under her stream of water, banging her head ever so slightly head-on against the wall. God, she thought to herself. Pull yourself together, it's not that dramatic. Just pull yourself together. It wasn't like she had never showered with anyone else before.
Wednesday, on the other hand, was so engrossed in her thoughts that she clawed at the shower bar and the shower hose that went with it, grinding and grinding her teeth together. Her mind was on a rollercoaster.
Come on, she chided herself. You can do this. She's just a woman... And fuck yeah, she's a woman, that, woman. No you're grown up, you're calmer. Again and again she admonished herself, but only with heavy success.
God, Wednesday cursed the human being for being able to show desire like that.
Why did the body have to react like that? Why? She just didn't see the point.
In her eyes it had always been a burden and unnecessary. It was only distracting, but now it was not only distraction but torture.
She must honestly confess that she had always enjoyed a sweet torture. However, she must add that she rather loved it when she could control it.
Going there now, she had the feeling that her entire body, explicitly her abdomen, was burning like a torch. A feeling she didn't know at all. Not like this.
So she decided to turn the tap from hot to cold and enjoyed the stinging pain on her skin that followed. She groaned loudly.
What a relief, she thought to herself.
As a result, Larissa's water suddenly became hotter due to the increased water pressure and she literally burned herself on it.
In shock and pain, Larissa let out a scream, but it died in her throat when she heard the younger woman's sighs. Now, Larissa Weems was sure that she definitely needed a cold shower, for it was not only her skin that glowed red.
Suddenly, a strange silence followed and Larissa heard the water next to her stop flowing. She took a deep breath in and out, trying to calm her nerves so she could go and get dressed.
As she stepped in front of Wednesday dressed only in a towel, she saw the younger woman staring and eyeing her. A grin showed on her face and Larissa blushed slightly. It had been a long time since someone had looked at her like that. She picked up her clothes, sat down and began to get dressed. Her thoughts were everywhere but with her. She went through the struggle again, had that wonderful body in front of her and got to the moment when Wednesday's leg rested between hers. The drew in a breath, shook her head slightly and clawed at the bench.
"Are you all right?" she heard Wednesday ask as her eyes searched hers.
Larissa looked at her. "What?" she asked.
"I asked you if everything was alright, you seem so distant."
Larissa cleared her throat. She wondered what to say to her.
"Yes darling, everything is fine. I was just thinking about the fight just now. I'm really impressed with your performance."
It wasn't a lie, even if it wasn't quite her exact thoughts.
Grateful for the compliment, Wednesday smiled at her.
"Thank you, I also didn't expect to have such a
to have such a worthy opponent. I mean, I was expecting it and I thought you would be good but I didn't expect this performance.
Thank you so much, I really enjoyed it."
Larissa nodded at her. She knew what Wednesday was trying to tell her. Wednesday pulled on her top and moaned. Even though she didn't want to, she had to admit that her arms were heavy from the fight, with a ripping squeal stopping her movements.
What was that, Wednesday wondered, not quite being able to place the sound. She looked at Larissa, who scowled at her fingernail and muttered to herself, "Crap, broken off."
Looking at the other side of Larissa Weems now, one could see very clearly how the paint had been chipped off in 4 strips down to the primer.
As Wednesday began to understand the situation, she grinned sarcastically and decided to tease Larissa some more.
"Honey," she said and Larissa looked at her. "You should leave the nails on. If a weal was missing from the back, what would it look like? Incomplete and someone might think I'd failed."
When Larissa's face got even darker than it could possibly be, she did have to laugh a little. She shook her head and avoided this conversation. She had to get out of here and as soon as possible.
"Go on, get dressed," she said as she briskly got herself ready.
She closed the door behind her and walked to the car. The car ride was fairly quiet and relaxed. They joked lightly, laughing until Wednesday put her hand on Larissa's thigh during the drive, leaving a comforting warmth there. Larissa didn't think twice and grabbed the hand, holding it lovingly. It was a nice feeling, they both had to admit.
When they arrived at Wednesday's, Larissa stopped in front of the stairs. They got out, Larissa taking the bag from the boot and carrying it for Wednesday.
Wednesday was about to go up the stairs when Larissa's hand stopped her and pulled her back a little.
She wheeled around, looked up and straight into blue eyes. Eyes she loved and had missed so much. She swallowed hard.
The stairs meant that the difference in height was no longer too great and Wednesday only needed to look up a little. Gently, Larissa closed her hands around Wednesday's face and smiled at her.
She ran her thumb tenderly over her cheekbone and closed the distance.
When their lips met for the first time, Wednesday thought she would faint. She had spent years dreaming about it, but this was more beautiful and intense than any dream she had with this woman. The kiss was gentle yet firm and Wednesday believed she could sink into it.
She put her arms on Larissa's shoulder and pulled her even closer, making Larissa moan softly, barely audibly. When they separated, Larissa looked dreamily into her eyes and Wednesday returned the look with a sparkle that Larissa thought she could see diamonds sparkling in.
Wednesday grinned slightly, but didn't hesitate for long and pulled Larissa back down to her so that she could feel those lips once more.
Carefully, she let the tip of her tongue brush Larissa's lower lip, inviting her in the sweetest way to open her lips, and a few moments later felt Larissa gently press her tongue against hers.
When their tongues met and began a little dance, Larissa felt the tug that went all the way down between her legs. Oh how long had it been since this kind of closeness. Too long. Far too long.
The fact that Wednesday probably felt the same way as she did and became more demanding, intensifying the kiss, didn't really help her feel better.
She knew that if she didn't break the kiss now, this evening would go in a different direction.
With the oxygen running low, they both pulled away. Wednesday had her eyes closed as she grinned. It was an indescribable feeling for her.
Not that she had never been kissed before but this surpassed anything she had ever felt.
As she slowly opened her eyes, she recognised the smile on Larissa's face.
"That was nice," she whispered and Larissa couldn't help but giggle in reply that she thought it was nice too.
"I don't want to let you go, is that silly?" asked Wednesday, to which Larissa gave one short laugh.
"No, silly by no means. More like adorable. Who knew the famous Wednesday Addams was a romantic."
Wednesday had to laugh. "I'm not," she returned, shaking her head. "Yes you are and I really like it a lot."
Again Wednesday pulled her in for a kiss, but only briefly.
"Thank you," she whispered in response as she had begun to unconsciously nuzzle Larissa's neck.
"Not for that, thank you for a lovely evening. I'll see you around?" asked Larissa, to which Wednesday nodded. "Of course," she replied, to which she parted from Larissa.
"Well, good night," came from the shorter woman, walking slowly up the steps.
"Good night my dear," Larissa replied lovingly, then got into the car and drove away.
Wednesday went into the house, closed the door behind her and called out loudly, "Thiiiinng, where are you? We need to talk."
Only a few minutes later, Thing braked in front of her and listened to all she had experienced, almost rolling over in her tales while Thing tried to follow hers.
Meanwhile, Larissa's problem was that she didn't get far. Until she was out of sight, to be precise. She stopped, gripping the top of the steering wheel tighter as she processed how she was feeling. She let herself slump forward, pressing her forehead against her hands as she expelled the air.
"Shit," was the only thing that came out of her mouth.
