Through the song 'Angel eyes' by ABBA, Marcia cries in her bedroom about her feelings for a certain redhead.
Note
I was listening to songs, and when Angel eyes popped up, I randomly thought of this idea.I hope you enjoy it!

Look into her angel eyes…

“Sometimes, when I’m lonely, I sit and think about her. And it hurts to remember all the good times.” Marcia cries out. Her breath became unsteady, and her vision started to blur. “When I thought I could never live without her,” She paused before staring out the opened window. The piercing freezing wind blew through, making her soft yellow curtains move as if they were alive and breathing. The contrast between the colors of the night sky and her curtains reminded Marcia of a scene from Grease. A movie that Cherry promised her that they’d watch but ended up taking someone else to watch it.

She felt her heartache at the sudden memory but tried to discard it from her head. “Let it go, Marci. Let it go,” The brunette muttered. She pinched the bridge of her nose while closing her eyes and sighed. Marcia turned to face the vanity near her window as she opened her eyes.

“Oh dear,” She cries even more. Both her eyes and cheeks were puffy and began to redden. Visible streaks were shown from the corner of her eyes, indicating the continuous crying she had been doing. Usually, her hair looked neat and even considered perfect on certain days, but at this moment, it was a mess. So messy that her little sister’s bed hair looked better.

Her voice cracks when she tightens her grip on her bedsheets. “Why did you have to date Dallas Winston out of all boys?” Said Marcia, still looking at the mirror. Her eyes slowly move again toward the window. “Look into her angel eyes. One look and you’re hypnotized.” She tells herself. “She’ll take your heart, and you must pay the price….” Marcia’s voice trails off.

Look into her angel eyes. You’ll think you’re in paradise. Then one day, you’ll find out she wears a disguise. Don’t look too deep into those angel eyes. Crazy ‘bout these angel eyes. (Angel eyes)

Marcia didn’t understand these feelings towards her red-haired companion. She just took them as a sign of close bonding. So, it didn’t phase her that her heart would beat rapidly whenever the soc saw her friend. Or would feel adored when Cherry would tease her about things she did. Marcia would turn a blind eye.

Eventually, after her separation from Randy, Marcia slowly began to realize that these “close bonding” feelings felt the same as when she was with Randy. But since this was the 60s, Marcia didn’t accept the idea of her falling in love with a girl. It had bothered her so much that she avoided Cherry at all costs. Avoiding eye contact, physical touch, and even small talk. She was willing to do this so she couldn’t get into trouble. Marcia’s father would’ve to shame her for taking fond of another woman and would kick her out of the house.

After at least two weeks of Marcia not interacting with Cherry, the redhead came over to her house unexpectedly, and Marcia wanted to die the moment she opened the door. Nonetheless, the brunette lied about why she hadn’t talked to the other and said her goodbyes. But as she was going to shut the door, a little voice told her to invite Cherry in. And without hesitation, Marcia asked Cherry to stay over for a couple of hours.

Moments of silence washed over her, and all Marcia heard were the flaps of her curtains moving.

“I should have listened to Randy.” Said Marcia, pulling her knees close to her chest. “When someone breaks your heart, you’ll have to deal with the leftovers.”
