CHAPTER 7

Once everyone was in the war room Lexa began. “Raven, you said you have a thing that can help you talk to the people on the Ark.”

“Yes, Heda a radio. I have it right here. Would you like me to see if I can contact them.”

“Please Raven see if you can contact them,” Lexa said.

“Raven to the Ark, over.” There was nothing but static coming through the radio. Raven tried again, “Raven to the Ark, over.” There were a few more seconds where they thought they wouldn’t make contact, but then.

“Raven this is Kane, over.”

“Well, hello there Kane. Just wanted to let you know we made it to the ground and that Earth is survivable. Also, we have met people on the ground who survived the bombs all those years ago, over.”

“That’s wonderful news Raven. Are they treating you well, over.”

“Yes, Kane they are the Heda or leader of the lands we landed on has taken us in. we are going to go through a quest and hopefully we will become members of the clan here named Trikru, over.”

They heard the static again and Clarke knew Kane was taking in this new information, as this was not a part of the original plan.

“Okay Raven please keep me informed. Is Clarke there, over.”

“I’m here Kane, over.” She hoped he would let her know if her father was still ok.

“Hey Clarke, I just wanted to let you know that everyone is good here, over.”

Clarke let out the breath she was holding, “thank you Kane. We will talk to you soon, over and out.”

“Talk soon, over and out.”

Once they ended the call everyone else entered the war room.

“Now that everyone is here, we may begin,” Heda said. “Indra are the Skaikru ready for the quest.” Clarke looked at Lexa trying to figure out why she was asking now. She thought they had one more week.

“They are Heda,” Indra said.

“Anya how do you feel.”

“They are ready, Heda.”

“Good go get your groups and everything ready to leave out tomorrow morning. Also, Echo and Ontari and their group will be joining as well to become Trikru as well.”

“Sha Heda,” both Echo and Ontari said and left the tent to get their group ready to go.

“Skaikru, I want you to get your people together and get your weapons of choice and pack your bags to go. You will leave for the hunt tomorrow morning.”

“Sha Heda,” and they all turned to leave.

“Clarke if you could please stay.” Clarke did and turned around to face Lexa. “I know we were going to wait just a little longer, but with Echo here now and Octavia showing great improvement I thought we could maybe get into the mountain and get it shut down.”

Clarke walked up to Lexa and took her face in her hands. She knew Lexa was worried about the decision she made without Clarkes input. Clarke looked Lexa in the eyes and then leaned in to kiss Lexa’s lips. “I’m with you niron, whatever your decision is I will back you when you have to make a decision that I can’t be there for to help with. You and me, Heda and Wanheda. Ai hod yu in.”

Lexa released the breath she was holding. “Mochof Clarke for understanding and ai hod yu in seintaim.”

“Of course, Lexa.”

“One more thing Clarke that you may not like.” Clarke raised her eyebrow while looking at Lexa. “Madi will need to go on the quest as well.” She could tell Clarke’s breath caught, so she quickly kept talking, “she will be in your group of course. I will make sure of that, but she has been doing well at her training sessions, and the Kru will wonder why she is not on the quest. Our goufas go out on a similar quest at her age so this is me protecting her to have more people she knows with her.”

Clarke took a deep breath and closed her eyes. ‘Of course, Lexa would protect Madi’ she thought to herself. When she opened her eyes and saw she saw the look of distress on Lexa’s face she quickly hugged her and whispered into her neck, “Thank you for looking out for our daughter.”

“Always hodnes. I will always look out for both my daughters, my houmon and any future goufas we have,” Lexa said into Clarkes ear.

Clarke smiled into Lexa’s neck. More goufas sounded wonderful to Clarke. She pulled away from Lexa then and looked at her with a soft smile. “I guess I better get us packed up so we can become your people, Heda.”

“Sha, Clarke you should,” and with that Clarke left to go find Madi and get their things packed.

Clarke found Madi sparring with Gustus, while Ontari was sparring with Charlette. She couldn’t help but smile at how cute Char was trying to mimic Ontari, and the look of pure concentration on her face.

Anya walked up next to Clarke, “Madi is amazing Clarke. She will prove how helpful she will be to Trikru on this quest.”

“I know Anya. I can’t believe how amazing she is,” Clarke says.

“I will keep Char with me when Heda is needed. When she is not then Lexa will keep her. if we are both needed then Alexis has said she would watch her for us,” Anya said squeezing Clarkes hand. She knew leaving Charlotte would be tough, but knowing she would be taken care of would put her mind at ease. “Gustus has demanded he trail his daughter and granddaughter, and Heda couldn’t refuse. Ryder will be with Charlotte at all times unless she is with Lexa, Alexis or myself. If we need for some reason need to call on Costia she has said she and Niylah would come and watch her.”

“Thank you, Anya. Knowing she will be with you all helps me focus on the quest and Madi,” Clarke says with a smile.

While Clarke and Anya spoke, Lexa had a warrior go and find Indra and Gustus and bring them to her tent. “I need both of you to do something. We planned this when we were with the Fates and now is our chance to execute the plan.”

Indra looked at Heda. “You wish for Echo and Octavia to be captured by the mountain.”

“Sha, Indra,” Lexa said knowing that this would be very hard on Indra.

“How do we do that Lexa,” Gustus asked.

“We have our spy and we let her know that if she can get herself and Octavia in, we will take down the mountain with their help inside. Once they are back, they will become Trikru. We let Octavia know this is a part of her training of having Echo train her and let Echo know she is training her in the ways of being a spy.”

“Sha Heda,” Indra said. “I will go retrieve both of them now,” and with that Indra left.

Lexa turned around to find a familiar face in front of her.

“Is it true.”

“Sha it is,” Lexa said. The person in front of her feel to their knees with their head in their hands. Lexa moves towards them and falls to her knees in front of them. Lexa then scoops the person into her arms. “It’s ok I’ve got you.” The person in her arms just sobs. Just then Lexa hears someone outside the tent.

“Lexa dear,” says Alexia as she walks into the tent and stops in her tracks. As she sees Lexa on the ground with someone in her arms.

“Luna,” Alexis says with a gasp.

Luna looks up to see who was there. “Nomon,” she sobs out. That sob pulls Alexis out of her trance at seeing her other daughter and moves to hug Luna up into her arms.

Lexa lets go of Luna and moves to stand up to allow the two of them their moment together since Lincoln and herself got to have their moment with their nomon. She moves to go and give her guard outside an order to retrieve her family, Anya, Clarke and her daughters. The warrior bows his head and before running off grabs another warrior to help him gather everyone.

It didn’t take long for the others to join Lexa in the war room. Gustus and Lincoln went quickly to gather Luna up in their arms, as both hadn’t seen Luna in a very long time. Well since Alexis went away.

Clarke came in and moved to stand next to Lexa. Charlotte didn’t understand what was happening and was scared, so Lexa bent down and scooped her up into her arms. Char put her face into Lexa’s neck. Madi stood next to Clarke trying to take on the look that Anya always has when she is around a group of people.

Anya stood there not quite knowing what to do. Lexa looked over to Anya and saw tears coming down her cheeks, Clarke also noticed, so she moved over to Anya. “Hey,” she whispered. “Let’s step outside.” Anya nodded and followed Clarke out the door and around back where no one was. She took Anya in her arms. Anya went to struggle away from Clarke for a minute, but then gave up and silently sobbed into Clarkes neck. Clarke just held her and rubbed her back letting her get it all out. Once Anya started calming down, she pulled back a little from Clarke.

 “Mochof Clarke,” Anya said quietly.

“Pro Anya, and nothing more needs to be said,” Clarke said with a smile. Anya just bowed her head. Clarke punched Anya’s arm lightly, “come on let's head back in.”

As they head back in Lexa was standing there waiting for Clarke to come and join her, while Anya made her way towards Alexis. Lexa leaned into Clarke as she started to speak, “Anya lost her nomon while she was giving birth to Costia. My nomon became their nomon and was Anya’s Fos. Anya was just as devastated as we were to find out our nomon was missing. I know you have seen Anya show no emotions, it's because of how hurt she was when nomon was gone.”

“Wow I feel like I know her better now.”

“Her crying with you is something nobody gets to see. She sees you as a sister or else you would have never seen her emotions.”

Clarke just nodded understanding that she too also saw Anya as a big sister.

It was getting late so Lexa asked her guards to bring dinner to the war room and to collect Raven, Murphy and Indra to join them for dinner.

Once everyone showed up to the war room Indra went straight to Alexis to make sure that she was real. When she was satisfied that Alexis was real, she moved over to give her best friend a hug.

Ravens’ eyes went wide as she mumbled out, “holy shit Indra just showed emotions.”

Indra moved away from Alexis and moved over next to Raven and smacked her on the back of the head and said, “branwoda,” as she moved over to the table that the dinner had been set up on. Everyone started following Indra over to the table while laughing at Raven.

Anya grabbed Ravens hand while trying not laugh but failing so Raven slapped her on the arm and headed over to the table with a smiling Anya following behind her.

They all had dinner and just enjoyed each other’s company. Lexa couldn’t remember the last time they were like this, all happy and just enjoying time together. The only people missing were Costia and Niylah, but they would be here tomorrow. Lexa looked around the table and she noticed that Charlotte was getting sleepy, so she went over to her and picked her up. Charlotte just nuzzled into her neck and before anyone could notice Charlotte was sound asleep in Lexa’s arms. Clarke couldn’t help the smile that showed on her face. Alexis was shocked to see her daughter holding this little girl and cuddling her while this little girl just nuzzled into Lexa like she had known Lexa her whole life. Then Alexia noticed the look of pure love on Clarke’s face for her daughter. She leaned into Gustus, “houmon I think our daughter might have a secret admirer.”

He looked over to where Clarke was and smiled. “Yes, it does,” is all he said. He needed to ask if he could tell Alexis about the past since she was not in the other timeline to know what happened. She would be so happy to know she has two granddaughters and a wonderful daughter-in-law. They both just sat there watching the interaction between Lexa and Clarke.

“Hey,” Clarke said.

Lexa smiled at her, “hi.”

“How about we get these girls back home. It’s going to be a long quest. Madi and I are going to need to get rest before we leave in the morning.”

“Sha hodnes, let's go,” Lexa whispered, and with that they said their goodbyes and took Charlotte and Madi back to Clarkes tent to go to bed.
