Chapter 1

Clarke sits upon the tower she had climbed up to help get the signal to the Ark to open the docking doors for the rocket to land so they could survive primfaya. She sits up on the tower watching the rocket climb higher and higher into the sky until she could no longer see anything, but the trail of smoke left behind.

‘They made it to the Ark and everyone else is in the bunker,’ Clarke says to herself as she looks at Primfaya coming towards her. She closes her eyes and takes a deep breath. When she opens her eyes, she smiles and starts to laugh like a crazy person. After she stops laughing and catches her breath, she sees how close primfaya is to her and she looks to the sky and says, “Lexa we owe nothing more to our people. I love you and can’t wait to see you again.”

She then closes her eyes again and waits for the primfaya to take her to Lexa.

When Clarke opens her eyes, she realizes that she is in a bed. She wonders if this is heaven or if she somehow has been in a coma and nothing in her life that she remembers really happened and she can’t remember her real life. She gets up and looks around the room. There are some clothes in the drawers of the dresser and a hairbrush on top of the dresser. She then looks over on a table and sees a sketchbook with some pencils with it. She gets a big smile on her face when she walks over to it and runs her fingers over the cover of it. As she is looking at the sketchbook there is a knock on the door. She doesn’t know what to expect when she opens it up, and her first instinct is to look for a weapon. When she doesn’t see one anywhere around, she goes to the door and opens it slowly. Her eyes go wide when she sees who is behind the door.

“Hello Clarke. How are you doing this morning.” Clarke just looks at her with her mouth slightly open. “I understand this is probably a little crazy seeing me here.”

Clarke finally finds her voice, “a little crazy. A LITTLE CRAZY. Are you fucking kidding me,” Clarke walks away from the door running her hands over her face and starts pacing back and forth mumbling to herself, “how is this happening? She has been dead for how many years.” Then Clarke stops her movements and remembers that she herself is dead. She looks back at Bekka who has a huge smile on her face.

“Why do you have that smile on your face. I’m dead and I’m trying to figure out why you are my welcoming party. Why is Bekka pram Heda my welcoming party.”

Bekka stood there watching Clarke with a smile on her face. “Not who you were expecting I presume,” Bekka said with a little laugh.

“Um…no you would one of the last, no not true, you wouldn’t have ever crossed my mind to be here to greet me when I died.”

Bekka smiled, “I suppose that would make sense, but Clarke what makes you think you’re dead.”

Clarke looks at her and scrunches up her nose and her brows knot together while she is looking at Bekka like she has gone mad. “Maybe because PRIMFAYA hit me and then I woke up here,” Clarke said wondering what the hell was going on.

“I understand and that’s why I’m here. Why don’t you come with me to get some breakfast and I will explain everything to you,” Bekka said as she turned and started to walk away down the hall.

Clarke stood there in the doorway watching Bekka walk away down the hall. She realizes that she is not moving, so she hurries and shuts the door, before turning and running down the hall to catch up to Bekka. When she does Bekka looks over at her and smiles while leading Clarke to the dining hall.

Once they made it to the dining hall Clarke’s eyes go wide. Bekka sees this and has to smile. “Like what you see Clarke. There is everything you can think of for breakfast, so please help yourself to anything you want to eat and once you are done, we will talk about where you area and why you are here.”

“Okay,” Clarke say. She walks over to the food and gets herself bacon, eggs, pancakes, a blueberry muffin and fruit. She hums when she takes her first bit of pancakes. She looked around the room and noticed she was the only one in the room. As she continued to look around the room she thought ‘this kind of looks like Mount Weather,’ as she got a little shiver from the thought. Before she could get too far into her thoughts the doors opened revealing Bekka coming back into the dining room over to her and sits down at the table. Clarke looks at her ready to hear what Bekka has to tell her.

“Alright Clarke I guess it’s time to talk about what is going on.”

“Yes, please that would be wonderful Bekka. Please tell me what the hell is going on.”

“Well Clarke let’s begin with you and Lexa. I’m sure you have heard about soulmates.”

“Yes, I have, but I’ve never really believed that soulmates existed.”

“It’s something not a lot of people believe in anymore, because it’s very rare to exist, but Clarke you and Lexa are very rare. Your soulmates, and you were supposed to bring the Earth back from all the mess that I caused and make it amazing again.”

Clarke looked at Bekka like she was out of her mind. She had heard about soulmates yes, but always thought that was just in fairytales.

Bekka laughed a little at Clarke and how she looked so deep in thought. “Believe me I felt the same way you did hearing all this, and I will admit that having a scientific mind it makes it hard to believe. I saw glimpses of what the two of you could be from the flame, but I didn’t know what I was truly seeing. Then the fates showed me the full picture of you and Lexa, and well how could I not see it.”

Clarke just looked at Bekka and couldn’t believe what she was hearing.

“There is an old legend about two star crossed lovers that would lead a world into the future, and that future would be amazing and wonderful. It would take an abondance of hard work from many people, but the two leaders, one from the sky and one from the ground would lead everyone to the future. This story goes back to ancient times, and no one has ever seen two people that fit that description until you and Lexa. I don’t think the world needed the two of you until now.”

Clarke is taking in what Bekka is saying. “Why then if the fates thought we were these two star-crossed lovers did they not allow the legend to become reality.”

“Well, that is also going to be a crazy story for you to believe, but here we go. Somehow the security here messed up and allowed Nia’s soul to enter this plain and she was the one that guided Titus to go after you with a gun. Her goal was to take you out, but he missed and took out Lexa. Either way it was a win-win for her. Once the fates saw that happen, they found her. Then they had to do damage control, which was trying to get the world to stop where they could bring you here. That was where Primfaya came in. The fates called me in and asked me for my input on what could happen to help get you here and I suggested the nuclear melt down. So, when you met me in the City of Light, it was me setting up everything to get you here.” Clarke just stared at Bekka not believing what she just heard. Bekka continued talking, “So now I have been tasked with getting everything fixed and you all back so that you and Lexa can fulfill your destiny.”

Clarke wanted all of this to be true so that Lexa and herself could have a second chance. “Okay so if what you say is true, and I’m only going along with this because Lexa and Raven thought so very highly of you, what do I need to do to get that second chance with Lexa.”

“Well, I think very highly of both of them, and I’m glad to hear you say you will do this. First, we are going to be doing a bunch of studying and training before you go back.”

“I’m sorry what kind of studying and training am I going to be doing.”

“Well, there will be training in war strategies, because it’s the ground and to start with there will be wars that have to be won in order to get to the amazing Earth that you and Lexa will bring about. Also, you will train with grounder weapons, and I think the bow and arrow will be your weapon of choice only because you are good with a gun, I feel that the bow will come naturally to you. It will also help with hunting. We will train you with all weapons though. You will also go into medical training with procedures that are more Ark based and then grounder medical training where you can learn how to make medicine with the plants on Earth. We will also train you with horses and learning how to speak Trigedasleng.”

“Is that all you want me to learn while I’m here,” Clarke said while rolling her eyes.

“We will also train you in some computer skills as well. Time moves differently here so it really won’t take long to learn. You will also learn how to navigate by the stars, so you won’t get lost when you are on the ground. Oh, and you will also learn how to be stealthy when you are walking on the ground, instead of like a puana,” Bekka said with a huge smile.

“You are sooo… funny Bekka,” said Clarke with a hint of sarcasm. “Are the fates expecting me to do this all on my own until I get to the ground and meet up with Lexa.”

“Nope,” Bekka said popping the ‘P.’ “You will get to choose three people to help you but choose wisely because they will be the only people who will remember the previous timeline. You will also have to trigger their memories, so you should also choose the right time to trigger them.”

“Alright well the first person is a no brainer.” Clarke was saying before she was cut off by Bekka.

“You do not need to choose Lexa. You will be the one to trigger her but, she and three of her own people she chooses will be given their memories too.”

“That’s…really…that’s amazing thank you.”

“Don’t thank me I’m just a guide. Thank the fates, they are the ones who feel they let you and Lexa down and that you both deserve this second chance.”

“Well then, thank you fates, wherever you are.” The lights above them start to flicker.

“The fates say your welcome,” Bekka says with a smile.

“Well in that cause I choose Raven. I will need her to help with all the mechanical and computer stuff. Plus, she is like a sister to me.”

“That is a great choose. I have great respect for Raven. You don’t know this, but Raven is my Great Great Granddaughter.” Clarke just looked at Bekka like she was crazy. “I know it sounds crazy, but I had a baby right before we left Earth to go to the space station and I knew that I would be a target once up there, so I had her put with some people that I trusted with my life to take her and keep her safe and they did.”

“Well, I will tell you that she said it would be crazy if she was somehow related to you since she was so smart,” Clarke said with a little chuckle. She thought Raven will love knowing that she is related to the great Bekka Pram Heda.

“She is amazing, and I am so proud to call her my Granddaughter. While here she will get extensive training with me with computers. We all know that she is great with building things, she is good with computers, but she will be even better now. We will also teach her some other things on the ground she can use to help her make things go ‘Boom’ which will help with the wars you will be facing on the ground.”

“I’m sure she will love spending as much time with you as she can, and also learning as much as she can in the areas that she was good in and become great with them,” Clarke say’s with a little smile on her face. “The second person I will need is Kane. I need someone who knows the Ark and can get us stuff without people getting suspicious of us. Someone on the council that can make moves for us and keep the council away. Last but not least I need to have Murphy with us.”

“Wow, Murphy. That’s a name I was not expecting, I thought maybe your mom, Octavia or even your right-hand man Bellamey.”

“I know that they would have been more of the obvious choices, but I don’t want my mom remembering that she was the reason that my dad was killed. Octavia should be able to start over and not be jaded by things that happened in the other timeline, and I can’t trust Bellamey. I think I put too much trust in him and turned a blind eye to everything he did. I’m not going to be stupid like that this time around. I’m not going to trust people like him or Finn. I’m going to trust the people that I remember were there for us no matter what and that I took for granted, not the people that caused most of the problems that we had from the start.”

Bekka looked up towards the ceiling, “the fates have heard you and will look into those two specifically to see if they also helped to change the plans that they had for you and Lexa.”

“Okay that sounds good,” Clarke says. “How will I trigger everyone.”

“You will trigger everyone with something that is most associated with that person. Your three choices will be individually triggered when you feel like you need them to be. Lexa will also be triggered by you, but her three people will be triggered when you trigger her.”

“How do I trigger them,” Clarke asked.

“Once you decide when the person should be triggered you will use the trigger word you decided for them, so Clarke this is the time you will decide what those words are.”

“Hmmm…let me think. Well Murphy is the cockroach because he just refused to die, so that will be his word.” Bekka gave a little laugh at that. “Kane is going to be Arkadia. I think I can work that into a conversation with him. Raven is easy, her word will be genius. I know she calls herself that, but it will drive her crazy if I don’t call her that when she has been suggesting it.”

“Sounds good,” Bekka says with a laugh. “Now what about Lexa.”

“Hodnes. I want her to know that it is not a weakness right off the bat before she remembers.”

Bekka looks off into the distance. “I hate really hate that Shadheda changed love is strength to love is weakness. The previous Heda’s in the flame couldn’t stop him from changing it. He had the flaimkeepas change it in their teachings, and it stuck,” Bekka said with a look of discuss. “Anyways that is a great word for her. I also want to tell you that the three people you choose will also be training in the basics of healing. Along with that Murphy will get special ops training so that he can be used for special missions needing stealth, spying and also marksmanship. They will all also be able to navigate by the stars, use all weapons and learn to hunt.”

“Well, that will be very helpful when we hit the ground. At least we won’t starve to death,” Clarke says with a little laugh. “Clarke looks around the still empty dining hall, “so when will I get to see them all.”

The doors open with a loud bang that makes Clarke jump. “Right now, Princess,” Murphy says with a huge smile and Clarke just rolls her eyes at the nickname.

“Really, I still can’t get rid of that name. I think I like Wanheda better,” Clarke says while wrapping him up in a hug.

“Well maybe it’s time to get rid of it,” Murphy says with a little smile.

Clarke smiled at him. She was just about to say something to him when she feels something slam into her and take her to the ground knocking the air out of her. Once she is able to see who has tackled her, she lets out a sob at seeing who it was. Clarke let’s out a wet laugh, “ouch…Raven, I think you broke my back.”

“Oh, stop your whining and love me,” Raven said trying to kiss Clarke on the cheek, which was making Clarke laugh and try to wiggle away from her. Raven held her down while straddling Clarkes hips pinning her hands above her head. Clarke stopped moving and looked Raven in the eyes. They are laying there on the ground staring at each other when they hear a cough above them. Both of them look up to find a pair of green eyes staring down at them.

“Raven Kom Skaikru would you be so kind as to get off of Clarke,” Lexa says with her signature smirk.

“Well, well if it isn’t Commander heart eyes,” says Raven.

Murphy laughs, “are you looking to be killed before you even get to go back Raven.”

“Oh, shut up Murphy. Look Lexa doesn’t even know what I meant by that,” Raven says waving a hand at Lexa.

“I may not know Raven, but it looks like Clarke does and from the look on her face it sounds like you are making fun of me,” Lexa says with her signature glare. Raven swallows down hard and you can see her physically take a step back. Clarke is trying so hard not to laugh behind Raven. When Lexa looks over to Bekka, who is also behind Raven, she sees that she too is trying her hardest not to laugh. Murphy however is rolling on the floor laughing his ass off.

Lexa takes a few steps closer to Raven and grabs her shoulders. What happens next makes everyone stop what they are doing and just stare at Lexa and Raven. Raven stands like a statue as Lexa pulls her into a hug. It takes Raven a few seconds before she slowly moves her arms up to wrap around Lexa’s waist. Raven laid her head on Lexa’s shoulder and nuzzled her nose into Lexa’s neck. Lexa turns her head and whispers into Raven’s ear, “I’m sorry Raven for the things that I did to you. I will not apologize for Finn, but what I did to you I am so sorry.”

Raven lets out a little cry. “I’m sorry too Lexa. I understand why you did what you had to do with Finn. I forgive you for anything that you did to me. We are going to start over and leave the past in the past.”

Lexa pulls Raven back from her to look at her. “Raven, I want us to be close. I have always respected you for everything you did. Honestly, I felt you were more Clarke’s right hand then Bellamey ever was.”

That made Raven sob and laugh at the same time. “Hey Princess hear that, your girl thinks I’m amazing, don’t get too jealous.”

“I’m only jealous that you got to hug her first,” Clarke said with a pout.

“Oh boy look at that pout Raven. How could you do that to the Princess,” Murphy said with a laugh.

Lexa gives him a look and then steps away from Raven and heads over to Clarke. They stand in front of each other just taking in everything. Clarke moves first reaching out for Lexa, which makes Lexa start to move her hand towards Clarkes. Once they touch, they both let out the breath they both were holding in. They held hands for a few seconds before Clarke couldn’t take it anymore and crashed her body into Lexa, almost knocking her over, but Lexa caught her balance and held Clarke just as tight as Clarke was holding her. They both just held each other with tears streaming down their cheeks. Once they let go of each other Lexa reaches both of her hands up to Clarke’s face and gently wipes away the tears running down her cheeks. Clarke does the same to Lexa’s tears.

Once they are done Lexa’s eyes fall on Bekka, she walks over to her and kneels in front of her. Bekka smiles and puts her hand on Lexa’s head, and leaves it there for a few seconds, before pulling her hand back. “Rise Lexa Kom Trikru. It is so good to finally meet you in person.”

“It is an honor to meet you Bekka Pram Heda.”

Raven has made her way over to Clarke, while Lexa has her moment with Bekka. “Should we give them some privacy.”

Clarke just looks at Raven and rolls her eyes. She then looks around the room and spots Kane sitting in a chair on the other side of the room, so Clarke walks over to him. He stands as Clarke gets closer to him. Once Clarke reaches him, she leans into him and gives him a big hug. Kane lets out a breath and holds on tight to Clarke. After a few moments Clarke feels more arms wrapping around her and she opens her eyes to see Raven and Murphy joining the hug. Kane’s smile grows holding his kids in his arms again. They finally all release each other and move to join Bekka and Lexa again.

Clarke speaks up, “Bekka before anything else happens I think you should tell everyone your news.”

Everyone who was looking at Clarke then turns to Bekka looking curiously at her for a response.

“Okay, well when I was getting ready to leave Earth, I had a baby that I gave to people I trusted to keep her safe. I knew I would be a target, so I wanted her to be safe. Raven that child was your Great Grandmother, which make me your Great Great Grandmother.”

Everyone looks at Raven whose eyes are bulging out of her head and her jaw was on the floor. Murphy, who was standing next to Raven, reached over and closed her mouth. Raven coming out of her surprise reaction looks over to Murphy and gives him a death glare, and Murphy just puts his hands up and moves very slowly behind Lexa.

Raven turns her attention back to Bekka. She gets a huge smile on her face, “well hello their GG. Great Great get it GG. I always knew I had to come from someone who was a genius like me.” Raven laughs as she pulls Bekka into a hug. Bekka just hugs her back with a big smile on her face.

While they were having their family reunion Lexa leans closer to Clarke to whisper in her ear. We really are more alike than we thought. Raven will be huge in bridging the sky people to the grounders.”

“We are, aren’t we,” Clarke said with a smile. “I think Raven will be a great bonding tool, but she is going to drive everyone crazy telling them her GG is Bekka Pram Heda.”

Bekka and Raven separate and Bekka turns back to Lexa. “Lexa as you see Clarke has people here that she chose to help her on this journey to fix what has been disrupted and the fates know that you will need people as well. So, Lexa do you need time, or do you know who you want to join you on this journey.”

“Bekka, I know exactly who I want to help me.” She looks to Clarke who gives her a curious look. “Clarke please forgive me for not telling you this in the other timeline, but things were very different then.”

Clarke gives her a look of confusion, but she smiles, “we learn from the past to do better now. Whatever we held back then hopefully we can trust each other now.”

Lexa smiles at her, “thank you Clarke. Bekka I would like my father, cousin and godmother to join me on this journey as they have joined all others.”

Clarke takes Lexa’s hand in hers and smiles at the fact that Lexa just showed a weakness in front of people she is hoping are Lexa’s friends.

“I also have a brother and sister who are twins.”

“Do I know any of your family.”

“Yes, all of them actually. My brother and sister are Lincoln and Luna. My father is Gustus, cousin is Anya and godmother is Indra. Nyko is Anya’s father, which is why Lincoln is so close to him.”

Everyone just looks at Lexa because they all know that Lexa killed Gustus, which means she killed her own father. Clarke pulls Lexa into a big hug and just holds her until they hear a door open and three people walk in. As soon as Clarke saw her, she took off running crashing into Anya with a huge hug. Everyone’s brows went up when they saw that Clarke had just bear hugged Anya.

There was a loud umph from Anya who just stood there frozen with her arms at her sides looking at Lexa for help. “Heda there seems to be a sky girl attached to me. Do you think you could help me and remove her?”

“I do not believe I can do that Anya,” Lexa says with a smirk. “She seems quite attached to you.”

“She does look like she missed you Anya,” Indra said with almost the same smirk as Lexa.

Anya just gives them both a death glare and then just gives out a big huff, while wrapping her arms around Clarke, who had nuzzled her nose into Anya’s neck and is crying. Anya just looks back to Lexa with pleading eyes as she rubs her hands up and down Clarkes back. She leans into Clarke and starts to whisper into Clarke’s ear, “Clarke please stop crying, I can’t take it. It was not your fault Skaiprisa. It seems to have had something to do with the fates as I have been told, so please stop crying.”

Lexa just looked on with loving eyes at her Skaiprisa, as Anya called her, and her cousin shared a moment that she knew was something Anya didn’t do with many people.

Clarke finally let go of Anya and went to hug Indra who just rolled her eyes. Anya laughed, “looks like you didn’t get out of a Skaiprisa hug Indra.”

“Oh, shut it Anya,” Indra mumbled, as Clarke started to release her.

Clarke then moved over to Gustus, who she knew never really cared for her, but she was going to change that. She loved his daughter after all, so she did the only thing she knew, she hugged him as well. His eyes went to his daughter whose eyes had gone comically wide, while her jaw hung open. Both Indra and Anya started laughing, while everyone else waited for Gustus to kill Clarke for hugging him. To all of their surprise Gustus just huffed out a breath, and then pulled Clarke into a bear hug. The kind he used to give all his kids before Lexa was called to train in Polis. Lexa walked over to her father, and he pulled her into the hug as well. He knew Lexa loved Clarke, so he was going to love Clarke too. How could he not love the girl that loved his daughter like she hung the moon in the sky. He lets out a loud laugh, “my little Heda, how I have missed you, and Skaiprisa it’s good to see you again as well. How are my two girls.” Everyone in the room just looks at Gustus like he has lost his mind.

There was loud grunt that broke the silence in the room. “Hey, I’m your niece over here, so shouldn’t there be three girls. Geez Unca Gustus,” Anya says with a pout.

Gustus walk’s over to Anya and pulls her into a bear hug and she melts into him. “You are correct my little gona, my three girls.”

Lexa smiles and leans into Clarke, “look Clarke one hug from the Skaiprisa and Anya goes all soft.” Clarke just giggles, while Anya gets Gustus to release her.

“Oh, you’re going to get it little Lexi,” Anya says as she runs to tackle Lexa. Lexa runs away yelling not to call her that. As they chase each other around the room everyone else just starts talking to each other. Kane goes over and greats Indra and then Gustus. As they talk and catch up, Clarke and Raven stand watching the two goufas wrestle around on the floor of the dining hall.

“I’ve got to tell you Clarke, I never got to take in just how beautiful Anya is.”

Clarke smiled looking over at Raven. “Yeah, she is rather beautiful, but not as beautiful as Lexa.”

Raven looked over at Clarke like she had two heads. “Are you serious right now. Anya is obviously more beautiful. I mean that jaw line and those cheekbones,” Raven stopped talking while she went into deep thought. Then she came back, “oh that is so what I’m going to call her, Cheekbones.”

“I’m sure she will love that Raven,” Clarke said with an eye roll.

“Hey Lexa,” Raven yelled and both girls stopped wrestling to look over at her. “Take it easy on Cheekbones there. Wouldn’t want you to hurt that pretty face.”

Lexa looked at Anya and started laughing. “Cheekbones,” she said as she started laughing even harder.

Anya had a look on her face that made Clarke think Raven was a dead woman walking. Then Raven piped up, “I wouldn’t laugh to hard Commander Heart eyes, you might hurt yourself.”

That made Anya’s face break from her death glare to falling onto the floor, “oh cousin yours is way worse.”

“Clarke,” Lexa whined. “Please make Raven never call me that again.”

Before things got out of hand Bekka stepped in, “Goufas lets get down to business.”

Anya and Lexa got up off the floor quickly and bowed mumbling, “Sha Prim Heda.”

Clarke and Raven headed over with Raven mumbling, “Yes GG.”

“Good. Now for all of your Trigedasleng and weapons training Kane and Murphy will be with Gustus, Anya you will be training Raven and Indra will be training Clarke,” Bekka said.

Clarke looked at Bekka with such sad eyes wondering why Raven got to train with Anya and she had to train with Indra and not Lexa. Bekka saw her pout and said, “Lexa will be with me while I work on the Flame and some other things that I feel happened to help bring about the problems the first time around. You will however train with all of them for war strategies. You all, including the Grounders, will train with me on basic medicine. Anya, I also want you to train Murphy in the art of spying. He needs to be one of, if not the best, scout/spy/marksman the ground has ever seen.”

They all acknowledged Bekka and started to follow her out of the dining hall. They found themselves in this big room that looked like a training pit. The floor was covered in dirt and all the weapons you would find on the ground were lined up along the wall. Targets and training dummies were lined along the other wall. “Through that door over there, is a huge hunting training ground. There is every animal out there to practice hunting.” Bekka had a devilish grin on her face, “Lexa, Clarke there is even a puana out there for you.” Everyone else in the room started laughing at the look on Clarke and Lexa’s faces.

Clarke mumbled, “you all laugh, but you all would have been shitting your pants if you were there.” Lexa put her arm around Clarke’s waist and pulled her into her side to give her a side hug and a kiss on the side of her head. Clarke turned her head and hid her face in Lexa’s neck.

Raven leaned over to whisper to Anya, “Would you look at those two. It’s so sickeningly cute.” Raven didn’t notice the shudder from Anya. All Anya could do is hum her agreement.

Gustus watched his daughter and smiled at how much she had grown up into such an amazing woman. He was happy to see that she had gotten away from love is weakness and he saw how good Clarke was for her. He had liked Costia, but she never challenged Lexa the way Clarke does. Then he looked over at his niece standing next to Raven and he could tell Anya is having a hard time controlling her breathing with how close Raven is to her. He let out a little laugh and Anya upon hearing her uncle laughing looking up at him starring at her. “Are you laughing at me Unca.”

“Oh, little gona I am very happy for you,” he said with a wink. “I’m also laughing a little at you too.”

“Shof op Unca,” Anya huffed. Raven noticed that Anya was blushing and realized that she was the cause. Raven just thought to herself, ‘why wouldn’t I want something with this woman. She is tough, smart, loyal and just sexy as hell. I thought it when I saw her on that bridge and my heart skipped a beat then.’ There was a smile that formed on Ravens face. ‘Yep, I want to spend the rest of my life with this woman. Wow I’m turning into Clexa. Oh shit!’ Raven makes a realization, ‘Anya is my soulmate.’ Raven was so far into her thoughts that she didn’t notice Anya staring at her.

Bekka chimed in with a little smile on her face, “okay let’s move on.” She led them to another room. “This is where you will do your medical training. In here you will all be learning the basic Ark and Grounder medicine, and Clarke you will be learning more advanced skills in this room to the right. Follow me this way.” They all continue to follow Bekka to other rooms that they will be using for their training.

During the tour Lexa and Clarke were spending most of it walking towards the back of the pack holding hands and sharing small smiles with each other. Raven and Anya noticed, and both smiled happy that both their friends were being able to have this time together.

Once it was time for dinner everyone made it back to the dining hall. While there, people were talking and getting to know everyone better. Kane, Indra and Gustus, the Elders as Raven had dubbed them, were all getting along really well. Murphy, Raven and Anya were all having fun laughing and joking with one another. While all of this was going on Clarke and Lexa were watching it unfold. “Look at this Lexa. This is what we wanted for our people, and now our closes people, our family, are getting along and we can use this to help get our people together hopefully easier when we all are on the ground.”

The doors open and Bekka comes in. “I have rooms ready for all of you if you will follow me.” Everyone gets up and follows Bekka down the hall. They reach a group of four doors. “Indra, Gustus, Kane and Murphy these are your rooms here.”

Murphy lets out a little cheer and everyone looks at him like he has gone crazy. “What I don’t have to be anywhere near those four who would keep me up all night and not in a good way.” Clarke slapped Murphy on the back of the head.

Indra leaned into Kane, “he is not wrong.”

Kane lets out a little laugh, “no he is not.”

Gustus however decided he liked Murphy but was going to give him a little scare. So, he went over and pulled Murphy up by the front of his shirt. “I don’t want to know what my daughter and daughter in law get up to.” Murphy looked like he was going to shit his pants, while Clarke and Lexa both had their mouths wide open.

Clarke looked over to Lexa, “did your dad just call me his daughter in law.”

“Yes, Clarke I believe he did,” Lexa said with a smile. Then looked back over to her dad, “Nontu, please put Murphy down. You don’t want him to piss on your boots.”

“No, I wouldn’t want that would I now,” Gustus said. He put Murphy down, fixed his shirt and then gave him a smile.

Murphy stumbled back into his door trying to reach behind him for the doorknob. “Um…good…goodnight,” he mumbled out before he was behind the door out of sight of everyone.

Raven and Anya both fell into each other laughing. Raven caught her breath and walked over to Gustus and put her arm around his waist as best as she could since she couldn’t reach his shoulders. “You are my new best friend, Gus.” He just looked down at her and pulled her into his side laughing, “I like you too Striksora.”

The other three then went into their rooms with Bekka letting them know they would be summoned to breakfast in the morning. She then led the four girls down to two rooms. The one was Clarke’s room, but Bekka turned to the other door. “Raven and Anya this is your room.” Both women looked at Bekka and then back to each other.

Raven then spoke, “GG how do you know me so well already,” Raven said leaning in and giving her GG a hug.

Bekka smirked, “probably because you remind me of me at your age.”

Raven went to the door and opened it turning back to Anya, “after you, cheekbones.”

Anya just glared at her, but moved to head into the room, when she was stopped by someone talking to her. “Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do cousin.” She turned around and with a smile responded to Lexa. “Oh, Heda there are many things I would do that you would make you blush.” Raven got a huge smile on her face and pulled Anya into the room slamming the door behind her.

“I’m so glad I will be nowhere around here,” Bekka said while her cheeks blushed. “Well, I will leave you two to it and I will see you tomorrow. Heda, Wanheda,” and with that Bekka took her leave.

Clarke and Lexa went into the room and once inside they both stood there unsure of what to do. Lexa took in the room and saw a couch off to one side of the room. “I can um…sleep on the couch,” Lexa said.

Clarke was pulled out of her thoughts quickly, “NO,” she yelled and scrunched up her face. Clarke took a deep breath before walking up to Lexa and taking her hands into her own. “Lexa please no. I want to feel you and know that this place is not some kind of dream when I wake up with you in my arms. Please,” Clarke said.

Lexa’s face brightened up and a smile came across her lips, “I would like that too very much Clarke.”

“Good…Great,” Clarke stuttered out. She went to the dresser and found some clothes to sleep in for both of them. “Here you can go first to change and get ready in the bathroom for bed.” Lexa smiled at Clarke and gave her a kiss on the cheek before heading to the bathroom. Once Lexa was in there Clarke took in the room and noticed that there was an abondance of candles lit up around the room. Clarke shook her head, ‘leave it to Bekka to help Lexa with her candle obsession,’ Clarke thought to herself.

Lexa came out of the bathroom a few minutes later and Clarke went to go get ready for bed. Lexa looked around the room and also noticed all the candles around the room and got a huge smile on her face. She went over to the bed and pulled down the furs. While she was doing this Clarke came out of the bathroom and stopped while she looked at Lexa standing next to the bed.

Lexa saw her standing there, “sorry I don’t know what side you usually sleep on, so I didn’t want to just get in,” Lexa says rambling with a little blush on her cheeks.

Clarke just smiles at her and moves over to Lexa. She reaches up to Lexa’s cheek and leans into kiss Lexa on the lips. Lexa just melts into Clarkes lips. They break away and Lexa lets a lazy smile play on her lips. “Just get into the bed Lexa. I don’t care what side I sleep on as long as you are in the bed with me.”

“Ok,” Lexa sighed out and climbed into the bed. “Are you sure you don’t have a side of the bed.”

Clarke climbed in after, “it won’t matter cause I will probably wind-up laying on top of you, so I know you’re here.”

“That works for me Clarke. I want to make sure you’re in my arms forever.”

Clarke sighed, “forever.”

Once Clarkes breathing evened out, Lexa kissed her on top of her head. “Ai hod yu in Clarke,” Lexa said, and she noticed Clarke let out a breath like she had been holding it in. Lexa smiled and let herself fall into a peaceful sleep as well.

The next morning everyone meets in the dining hall for breakfast. Once they are all done Bekka comes in to take them to the training room to start. “So here is your schedule for everyday until the fates are ready to send you back.”

Raven whines while looking at the schedule. “Come on GG, we only get one day off.”

Anya smacks Raven on the back of the head, “branwoda,” she hisses.

Raven rubs the back of head while glaring at Anya. “Hey watch it. I’m going to be training and learning your language. So, I will figure out what you just called me, and I will learn it quickly cause I’m a genius.” Anya just smiled at her.

Bekka smiles at them. “Yes, Raven one day off to do as you please. Now then everyone let’s get started.”

Six months later…

“How am I supposed to be away from you now,” Clarke asked with tears in her eyes. “It’s been 6 months Lexa. I don’t know if I can do it.”

“It will be tough ai hodnes. I know it will be even tougher on you because you will remember and I won’t, until you come and trigger me that is. So, you will stay yuj for me because I need ai hodnes to come back for me.”

“I will Lexa. I’m just going to miss you, but I will stay yuj for us.”

Once again when everyone was done with breakfast Bekka came in to let them know it was time. She walked over to Raven. “My little bird you have no idea how much I have loved being able to meet you and get to know you these last six months. You have made me so proud Raven.” Raven started crying and hugged her GG tight. When they pulled away Bekka kept talking. “I made this for you. It’s an AI of me, so you and I can still talk. It will be like I’m with you even though I can’t physically be there. I will be able to help you with scientific problems, we’ll work through them since I won’t have a body. Or you know if you just want to talk to GG, I’ll be there too. I will put it…” Bekka leaned in and whispered where she would hide it for Raven to find once she was triggered.

“Thank you, GG. You know I will be using this all the time.”

“Also, I will put the computer tablets with the solar charging stations you made there as well.”

“Thank you.”

“Well then,” Bekka said clapping her hands together trying hard not to start crying. “Shall we.”

Everyone followed Bekka down the hall to a room with pods in it. “You will all lay down and I will put this,” Bekka held up some little chip thing, “on your temple. It will transport you back to your bodies at the precise time the fates have picked. Remember Clarke that somethings will be different so you will have to pay attention, so you don’t make yourself look suspicious.”

“Good luck with that princess,” Murphy said with a laugh. Then proceeded to get his head slapped by Gustus. With that Murphy says, “May we meet again,” to everyone and goes to get into his chair where Bekka puts the chip on his temple.

Kane, Gustus and Indra all shake forearms and nod to the others. Kane and Indra head to their chairs while Gustus walks over to the girls.

He stops at Anya and pull’s her into a hug, “stay yuj little gona.” He then reached for Raven, “I will miss you Striksora. It makes me happy to see how happy Anya is with you. I’ve never seen her this happy. You are both good for each other.” Raven just takes the big bear hug he gives her then turns her head, so no one sees the tears coming down, but everyone sees them.

“You too Unca, see you soon,” Anya said also trying to hide the tears in her eyes.

He then went to Lexa and Clarke, “I will be waiting Prisa for you to come back and give your old pops a hug.”

Clarke had tears coming down as she hugged him, “I will pops.” She then gave him a big kiss on the cheek and took a step back so Lexa could speak to him.

Lexa hugged the big guy, “ai hod yu in Nontu. I’m sorry about the other timeline.”

“No strike Heda, that was all on me. You did your duty like you should have. I will not be a branwoda this time around. Ai hod yu in strik Heda,” he said and gave her a kiss on top of her head.

Lexa and Anya went to give each other the forearm shake when Clarke and Raven scoffed at them.

“Give your cousin a hug you big branwoda,” Raven said smiling. “See I told you I would learn what that means.”

They looked at each other and gave each other a very awkward hug. Lexa held on a little longer and whispered in Anya’s ear, “ai hod yu in cousin.”

Anya smiled with a little tear coming down her cheek, “ai hod yu in seintaim.”

Anya then went over to Raven, “don’t forget about me Striksora.”

“Oh, don’t worry, as soon as Clarke triggers me, we will be heading down to the ground ASAP. I’ll need me some of you right away.” They then leaned in and gave each other a farewell kiss and hugged as tight as they could.

Clarke told Raven she would see her soon. “Get ready to have the sister you never wanted.”

To which Raven replied, “I may not want one Griff, but if you’re going to make me then I’m glad it’s you.” Raven gave her a hug and to everyone’s surprise so did Anya.

“I knew you loved me,” Clarke says with a smile. Anya just grumbles as she walks away with Raven, and they get situated in their chairs.

This just left Lexa and Clarke. “I will come down as quickly as I can so we can be together,” Clarke says and gives Lexa a kiss.

“I cannot wait hodnes.”

Bekka walks up to them, “it’s time girls,” and with that they both get in their chairs.

Everyone looks around the room at each other with nods. “See you all on the other side,” Clarke says. Then Bekka pushes a few buttons and with that everything goes black.
