Teenagers in a weird mv prison, crazy, I know.
Summary
The new prisoners of Milgram begin their trials. But some of them may or may not be familiar with the new Guard, a grey haired amnesiac by the name of Es.(Read the notes for more details, please. It's important.)
Note
Okay so, some things I'd like y'all to keep in mind:1. The Es here and the Es on Milgram are NOT the same, hence the different pronouns and descriptions. (It's a canon character, you can probably guess who it is but it's not Es.)2. Milgram and Project Sekai's universes are the same universe, this is in the future, when the canon Milgram has already ended.3. That being said, the characters here are not going to be exactly like their Milgram counterparts (ex: Mizuki is not going to be like Amane)4. The only two units that have not formed are MORE MORE JUMP! and Leo/need. VBS, WxS and N25 are formed already with their SEKAIs also existent.5. Ooc warning! (Update: 28/2/25) EXTREMELY FOR SOME CHARACTERS AND ESPECIALLY IN EARLY CHAPTERS. Later chapters have me trying to fix the ooc to the best of my abilities bare w/ me)

Chapter 30

Mikoto chuckled, not knowing what to do.

"Oh no… Oh no, no, no…"

Kazui paced and paced around Fuuta's kitchen, Mikoto behind him as the man's nervousness grew wider.

"Kazui… Kazui please. Just tell me what's going on…"

Mikoto put a hand on Kazui's shoulder before the latter shoved Fuuta's phone into his chest, not looking at him.

"He disappeared out of nowhere. He played whatever was on his phone and-- poof."

Mikoto sighed.

"Let's see. Come here, old man."

Putting Fuuta's phone on the kitchen counter, Mikoto typed in the redhead's playlist on his own device.

He covered his mouth shortly after beginning to scroll through Fuuta's playlist.

"These… are all songs I recommended to him… he said they sucked ass…"

Mikoto shed a happy tear.

"Fuuta said they were so bad… and they're all on here…

Oh… what is this? Look, look!"

Kazui sighed.

"...Untitled?"

Mikoto nodded excitedly as he tapped on the song.

…And nothing played.

"Uhhh… Did I break it… somehow? Maybe I paused it…"

But suddenly, they weren't in Fuuta's home anymore. The two were in a dark, dirty, dungeon cell, dimly lit by three torches on the wall.

"Mikoto?! Mikoto where are you!?"

Mikoto screamed. It was fairly dark but one could still see.

But Mikoto was scared out of his life.

"KAZUI?! GRAB MY HAND PLEASE!"

Kazui did just that, making Mikoto startled enough that he fell headfirst to the cobblestone floor.

"Ow…"

That was when he saw it.

A modern, shopping mall type, sliding glass door right on the other side.

"Fuuta…Have you ever talked about these nightmares with anyone?"

A strange, horned girl with teal pigtails sat by Fuuta's side on the grass, both of them watching the sunset.

Her voice was instantly recognisable…

At least to Mikoto.

"Is that… Miku…?"

"Kazui and Mikoto have some idea they happen. This is a first."

Kazui and Mikoto glanced at each other, before she talked again.

"What are the nightmares about, Fuuta?"

Fuuta frowned.

"In the recent ones… I'm back inside Milgram… either Kotoko's whole thing repeats itself or I see Akito or… relive the escape…"

He grasped on his hair as Miku patted his back.

"And--"

Fuuta got up. Stopping Miku in her tracks.

"Miku… I don't want to talk about it. Let's just--"

He sat back down, sighing.

"Let's just watch the sunset."

Miku nodded.

"Alright, Fuuta."

They sat in silence for a while, Kazui and Mikoto still alert for anything that might happen.

"What is this place..?"

Fuuta asked, not looking away from the setting sun as Mikoto whispered.

"I'd like to know the same thing."

"Shit-"

Miku had glanced at them.

Kazui pushed Mikoto out of their sight, stepping back himself.

Mikoto yelped.

"What the hell was that, Kazui?!"

Kazui didn't look at him.

"She saw us, Mikoto."

Mikoto sighed, Fuuta and Miku still talking in the background.

"Okay, and? That's Hatsune fucking Miku, not some eldritch horror!"

"Shhh! They're going to catch us!"

"What are you staring at?"

Oh, right. Miku hadn't responded.

Kazui was hoping so badly that she wouldn't say anything.

And, luckily for them, she didn't. Instead she looked back at Fuuta.

"Nothing. I just thought I'd heard something."

Fuuta looked nervous all of the sudden.

"Don't tell me this place is fucking haunted…"

Miku shook her head.

"I assure you it's not. What were you asking?"

She stated, looking away from the two.

"I asked you what this place is.."

Miku hummed.

"It's your Sekai. A place made from your feelings. When you discover your true feelings, they'll turn into a song, Fuuta."

Fuuta thought for a second.

"...What."

Miku nodded.

"That's basically the gist of it."

"...And you're alone here."

She shook her head, looking around.

"Len is here too. Somewhere. I haven't seen him in a while."

"Oh. Yeah okay uh…"

They sat in silence for a while.

"This is too fucking awkward."

"It really is huh…"

Back to Mikoto and Kazui though, they had found Len.

…Or Len had found them.

"Uh…"

Len just stood there, looking at the two of them while Kazui sweated bullets.

"...Hi! I'm Mikoto and this is Kazui…!"

Len glanced at Miku and Fuuta, Miku was staring at him, and they quickly exchanged confused looks with each other.

"Who the hell are these two!?"

"Len. How am I supposed to know?!"

Eventually, Fuuta stood up, startling the four others.

"Crap."

Len whispered, Mikoto and Kazui silently argued with each other on what to do.

Fuuta and Miku walked back to the dungeon part of the Sekai, Len hid somewhere in there.

"So… Are you going to come back?"

Miku asked Fuuta, who picked his phone up from the ground.

"...I don't know, to be honest. This is way too confusing."

Miku nodded.

"Fair enough. Well, cya…"

Fuuta hummed, before realizing something.

"Uhm… Miku."

Miku, who had already began walking away, turned around.

"How the fuck do I leave"

Fuuta was suddenly back.

He'd taken enough time for Mikoto and Kazui to agree to never talk about what had just happened to anyone.

Well, except Muu. Muu was inescapable at that point.

So when Fuuta came back, they were just sitting casually in his living room.

He was weirdly glad none of the windows were shattered by Mikoto.

"Oh hi, kid, where were you?"

Kazui greeted him, turning the TV on.

"What are you doing here, Mikoto."

Mikoto yelled.

"Hey!! Why do you say that every time I'm here?!"

Fuuta laughed, snatching the TV remote from Kazui's hand.

"I guess you could call it my revenge for the windows."

Mikoto looked at him and then sighed, smirking.

"Whatever you say, FuutaP."

A comfortable silence filled the room before Kazui asked.

"What's a FuutaP?"
