You never understand how close you are to a person until you start craving for the person's existence around you, until you start your day with the thought of there name and you end it by Kissing them good night.
For Taehyung, Jungkook's attention and his existence came all at once like the beautiful pink blossoms in spring. He never was this closer to anyone by his heart like he was with Jungkook these days.
Taehyung never was this happy before, he felt overwhelmed in this past month, he had spent all his day clinging by Jungkook's side, and Jungkook would gladly let him be.
Jungkook would every afternoon teach him basics to sword fighting, he would take taehyung to the blossom garden, to the lake and waterfall sometimes, he would teach taehyung to play Violin and piano.
For taehyung it was so mesmerizing to see his heart beating up fast whenever Jungkook would now lean forward and tuck the flower in his hair or would peck his forehead when he had to go somewhere out for work, those feelings were intense, they weren't just out of respect or trust but something that he thought he didn't knew.
Those feelings were almost like fear, the way it fills once heart out of nowhere but it controls the entire body.
These feelings were different. Taehyung found himself grinning until his cheeks hurt, his stomach filling with butterflies until they would be irresistible to hold inside.
With the warrior, he did not have to fear what he spoke and if it was too much. He did not have to worry that he was too slender or too slow because he knew, jungkook was okay with it.
Now Taehyung was with Jungkook under the branches of the cherry blossom tree, hidden inside the forest, with a beautiful lake beside .
Taehyung was sprawled on the hard ground filled with the bed of soft pink petals of the fallen flowers. His back resting to the tree trunk. While Jungkook's head on his lap as he slept feeling the beautiful weather and cool air.
Taehyung entangled his fingers in Jungkook's silky hair combing them softly and the elder made a satisfied humming sound .
Jungkook held Taehyung's hand near his heart holding it softly.
As he opened his eyes when he felt Taehyung leaning a bit and as he opened his eyes he found his pearl smiling cutely staring at him.
A pink blossom swirled in air landing on Taehyung's hair, Jungkook smiled.
He removed the flower and tucked Taehyung's hair behind his ear, 'pretty' he mumbled incoherently.
"You look more pretty from so close, beautiful , glowing like a Pearl" Jungkook said.
Taehyung smiled, continuing to comb Jungkook's hair with his bare fingers.
He didn't blush deep this time as he was now habitual to Jungkook calling him by name and praising his beauty.
"What were you talking about before taking a nap? I couldn't hear it properly" Taehyung asked.
"Ahh, that, it's just I was thinking if you ever missed your parents and family, because it's now almost 4 months that I remember you are with me and you haven't even once wished to meet them. You know for me you are my closet friend right? You can tell me anytime if you feel like going back" Jungkook completed kissing Taehyung fingers.
Taehyung's smile dropped, he didn't knew why would Jungkook think of sending him back to his parents. They were his nightmare while Jungkook was his safe place, he would never leave Jungkook.
Not until Jungkook would ask him to leave .
Taehyung's voice flattered as he told Jungkook about his parents and family one by one, he told him there darks and desire for the younger and Jungkook shoot up from his lap and sat in front of him.
His eyes held anger, Fire, the same that taehyung saw everytime when Jungkook went for the war.
Taehyung raised himself from the ground and sat on his knees , he cupped Jungkook's face in his hand.
"I'm fine now, I'm happy here. They do nothing to me now. Calm down please" He said.
Jungkook cupped back taehyung's face joining there foreheads together.
"I can kill for you tae, you could have told me this before, I would have never let them go for Putting you through this . I swear"
Taehyung nodded in Jungkook's hold.
"No one is going to hurt you like that again, I won't let anyone hurt you like that again" Jungkook whispered kissing taehyung's forehead.
Tears welled up in taehyung's eyes , he felt cared and honestly he just wanted to hug Jungkook and cry out loud for saving him, for being so nice with him, for being his companion even when he was just a mere mistress in bed for the warrior. Many sudden bubbling feelings made taehyung's heart swoon with love and respect.
He felt his heart once again in months chanting Jungkook's name repeatedly. It's true that Taehyung was scared when he was gifted to the warrior, he knew he would be used like a rug to clean body over every night, he would be toyed around by the warrior for his desires, but he was so wrong for thinking it.
Cuz Jungkook never in once touched Taehyung in any wrong possible way, and it was enough for Taehyung to trust Jungkook with everything he had with him.
"Do you want to sit by the lake? We can watch sunset and then get back to the palace, is that fine? " Jungkook asked.
"You will feel good there, by the lake " He continued.
"I would love to do that. As long as you are there with me, I'm ready to go anywhere my majesty. " Taehyung stood up holding Jungkook's hand, Jungkook smiled as he took his Precious Paramour to the lake.
