King's Court filled with chatters, laughs and music as all the courtiers and the head of the family sat together for the dinner.
All the warriors on the one side of palace enjoying there win while Jungkook with the royals.
He had left taehyung for an hour as he went somewhere up the stairs.
The Meantime Taehyung had just sat on one of the place he was told to sit by the queen. He talked to no one, nor did he tried to catch anyone's attention. He just sat there waiting for Jungkook to come back.
Jungkook came back an hour later all freshly bathed and well groomed, with no blood, no untreated wound, no messey clothes nothing, rather when he came back, he looked like a prince, in that royal executive suit.
Taehyung hadn't yet saw his face properly, but he just knew the male was handsome and someone he would ask God for.
Jungkook was dearest to the king so he was made to sit with king and his family instead of his companions and who was Jungkook to oppose the king?? Noone....
Listening to the kings request, taehyung was ready to leave to the court and walk up to the low life section for his dinner, but Jungkook had stopped him from doing that.
And taehyung was more then surprised at Jungkook's soft words.
"Won't you sit with me? Where are you going Pearl? " Jungkook had said and taehyung was deep shade of red.
Noone had ever used such soft tone with him, and never ever have anyone called him with a sweet nickname as Jungkook did.
He felt happiness bloom inside him, and he questioned himself, if this is what being loved felt??
Walking up to the dinner table, the Royal Family members had given him a look of disapproval and disappointment but nevertheless they had accepted it ,as it was Jungkook's wish.
So he sat with Jungkook, beside him, with the Royal Family.
The staff started to assemble there plates and Taehyung stayed stiff. He pinched his soft skin, thinking he might be just sleeping and dreaming all nonsense stuff.
Because this nothing meant any sense. Yesterday night he slept in room with the other sex slaves, without any food and today he was here being gifted as the most precious gift to Jeon Jungkook, and on top of that he was eating his dinner with Royal family, with whom he was been prohibited to even share a look.
This everything was too much, and if this was a dream, may his life end in this dream he prayed.
But it wasn't a dream, it was a bittersweet beginning of his new life that he never imagined.
The dishes were served, the prayer was played and then sang the Singers and the pianist.
Did the royals eat food in this luxury?? Do they have this everyday??
Taehyung was bewildered.
"Here you go majesty" One of the staff said serving Taehyung the entire loaf of a bread and Steak with some forks and knives and spoons, and he had no idea what and why where they used for.
He felt absolutely stupid.
He looked beside him sheepishly to find Jungkook cutting his own steak in his plate properly using different spoons and knife.
He thought of asking the elder, but couldn't as he felt it embarrassing. To ask Jungkook how to cut a steak???
So he just decided to copy Jungkook and do as he did.
So he took one knife in his right hand and one fork in his left hand .
But just when he would make a cut on the piece of steak, his plate was been taken away by Jungkook and had replaced it with his plate which had already sliced steak and properly diced chicken, loaded with other food Cuisine properly.
Taehyung smiled in his cheeks.
Jungkook hadn't said anything nor he had said anything to Jungkook, but somehow the elder had done things easy for him.
Jungkook didn't even glanced at him he did it secretly without getting anyones attention, as if he was saving taehyung from getting embarrassed.
And that was enough for Taehyung to feel his tummy exploding with butterflies of excitement.
Between the dinner the people around him talked and laughed and chattered while making jokes.
He heard Jungkook laughing at one of the kings joke and felt he never heard such a beautiful laugh before.
Taehyung found himself admiring Jungkook a lot more then it was expected.
He felt happy first time in years. Sitting there beside Jungkook he felt a sense of belonging, as if he did belonged to somebody. Someone he would tell people about.
Someone he would care for and stay by there side without wishing for anything.
Because he didn't wanted anything, he didn't even thought of asking for anything, he had got more then he asked for. He was happy being something to Jungkook, something to someone and he didn't cared how.
He noticed people Mumbling something into eachother ears about him, but he didn't care, cuz first his food was more Interesting, he never had ever ate something this tasty and full off flavours and secondly he had Jungkook by his side, so he didn't bother to keep his attention to hurtful things, instead he smiled and continued his dinner
