Christmas and New Year
Molly was having the best time of her life, ever since she came to Pallet town. Her parents were found unconscious at one of the Unown sites and they had taken a break from their work after their traumatic kidnappings. Ash sweat dropped at that information, seriously wondering if it was a tradition or something for legendaries to kidnap the humans they took fancy to. It seemed to be the norm from all the incidents they had experienced with the Mew siblings.
Molly was quite happy to have her mother and father back and along with her mama and papa and grandmas and grandpas and uncles and aunts, she couldn't ask for a bigger family. Delia and Rosalind had pouted at being called grandmas before the two had gushed over how adorable their grandchildren would be. Ash and Gary had laughed at their enthusiasm before being pulled away by Molly who wanted to study with them while they prepared for their finals. Molly had taken their idea of studying and clearing the schools before going on a journey to heart.
Molly, 'If mama and papa can do it, I can too. I won't let them down.'
Molly had also taken to following Gary and Ash around as they helped the Professor care about the Pokemon. She stayed at Greenfields for a few months before coming to Pallet town and staying there for another few months. She was very excited about having her own Pokemon and she had even found an unclaimed egg one day when she went with her mama and papa to the forest. Ash and Gary had giggled and laughed at her luck and congratulated her on finding her own poke egg.
Flashback:
Ash was introducing Molly to the three Mews, "Guys, we want to introduce you to Molly."
Gary, "She is family and we love her a lot."
The dark furred Mew flew around Molly, -She has been touched by the Unown.-
Mew, -You are right!-
Pink furred Mew, -Oh my! We have another chosen, don't we?-
Molly giggles as the three flew around sniffing her, "That tickles ~"
They had spent the day enjoying their picnic, just the three of them and their Pokemon relaxing in the meadow close to Pallet town. At one point, they had cuddled up together, human and Pokemon, to get a short nap under the cool autumn noon, with the sun shining brightly and the cool wind flowing over them. Molly was the first to wake up and smiled at Ash and Gary who were sleeping by her sides with the Pokemon around them. She had decided to check the meadow out and left the pile to walk around a bit. The meadow was filled with autumn flowers blooming under the sun and as she walked she found an interesting site. A few feet from her was a poke egg surrounded by stones and grass, Molly looked around and saw a few Butterfrees and Vileplume.
Molly, "Excuse me, but is this yours?"
The Butterfree and Vileplume looked up surprised at that and went to check on what the young human had pointed out. The Pokemon shook their heads in negative when they saw the egg and when Molly asked if they knew the parents, they shook their heads again. Molly frowned at that before getting a determined look and picking up the egg and returning to the picnic area.
Ash, "Molly, there you are, we were packing up."
Gary, "Sweet girl, what do you have there?"
Molly, "I found this all on it's own out there, I asked around if the Pokemon knew who it belongs to but they didn't know. I think it's one of those abandoned eggs, the Professor was telling us about."
Gary hugged Molly, "Don't cry Molly, they are not alone anymore, right? You found them, now they are part of our family."
Ash nodded, "Gary's right Molly, so come on let's pack up and return to the lab and get the little one a check up. If you want we can help you take care of them too."
Molly wiped her eyes before grinning, "Yeah, let's go."
Flashback end!
The three had ended up taking care of the Pokemon eggs together, with Ash and Gary guiding Molly and Molly being it's primary caretaker. A month after being found the egg had hatched into a Larvitar making Molly gasp in surprise. She had read about the Tyranitar and that they were literal pseudo legendary Pokemon. She half wondered if she ran into one of the species, egg because she had been touched by a Legendary before, but did not let the fact bother her that much. The Christmas and New Year party was around the corner and mama or Ash, as she had started to call him had promised to play dress up with her.
Ash grinned, "Molly look, we got matching red dresses."
Molly's eyes twinkled, "So pretty."
Molly marvelled at the fluffy bright red dresses, it matched the festive season. She couldn't wait to try it on and show off to papa or Gary as she was starting to call him. She understood they were not her parents but it was difficult to break a habit, especially when they did not seem to mind. The two thirteen year old teens got up after a bit and decided to help Molly dress up first. Molly watched as Ash and Gary helped her put on the dress before they decided to dress up as well. Molly twirled around the mirror and laughed as the dress twirled around with her.
Gary grinned hearing her laugh, "You really love that dress huh?"
Molly, "Papa..... Sorry Gary, yes I do, it's beautiful."
Ash walked out, "I'm happy to hear you love it."
Molly, "Mama.. Ash you look so beautiful."
Ash smiled, "Thank you, Molly, shall we join the others outside for the Christmas and New Year?"
Molly nodded and hooked her hands around theirs, "Let's go."
Molly chattered the whole way down to the field where the party was being held. Everyone was present this time unlike the last two years, which had been very hectic for most of them. In the sense, Gold had won against Lance before going off to challenge Green and becoming the Champion of Jhoto region then doing the Kanto circuit and defeating Red. Red had quite happily dumped the Championship and all the paperwork that came with being a Champion on the younger trainer. Yellow had become a powerful healer as well as Secondary Champion to Gold after going through the Orange Islands route. Gary had to snort remembering the phone call he received from Gold whining about too many paperwork and why can't someone out there beat him and take the cursed paperwork away.
Alain on the other hand had decided to become a researcher just like his Dad while sharing his Championship with Diantha. It had worked for the both of them switching the responsibility of being a Champion between each other especially during the important research dates for Alain and acting or photoshoots for Diantha. Diantha had become quite fond of the young researcher who was rising in ranks thanks to his research in mega bond evolution phenomenon that brought more trainers to the Kalos region than before. She was also very curious about his family, from what she could gather from talking to Alain and observing him, she was sure that he had a large family and was very protective of his baby sister. Mairin was doing quite well as a genius prodigy herself being the first kid in Kalos to complete both her school and high schooling. Diantha would be lying if she said she was not fond of both of them and Lysander's interest in them ticked her off in every wrong way possible. She had half a mind to hide them both, she was 70% sure, Lysander is part of Team Flare but understand she had no proof of it. Now here she was in Pallet town with the Sycamore family meeting the rest of the family.
Diantha gave an exasperated smile, "Alain why did you not mention you knew the ex Champions of Jhoto and Kanto regions?"
Alain gave a sheepish laugh, "Umm... Surprise? Sorry it just slipped my mind they were Champions. I mean I'm more used to thinking about them as an Aura Guardian and a Psychic User rather than Champions."
Diantha looked between them curiously, "How close are you all to each other exactly?"
Green smirked, "He's our adopted family."
Alain's face was pink, "What he said."
Red was watching in amusement, "I heard you were a shoe in for being an Aura Guardian yourself Alain."
Alain, "Yeah I'm not sure I can handle that right now. My hands are kinda full with the Championship and research work. I don't think I could add Aura Guardian roles to it."
Green hummed, "True, too much would run you dry. Just because we are gifted does not mean we are invincible."
Molly, "We are here ~"
Alain looked at the three grinning, "Oh my!"
Green, "Looking good guys."
Red nodded, "I see you are wearing the necklaces we got you."
Gary grinned, "It fits our outfits."
Ash, "Thank you for it by the way. It completed the look."
Molly walked to the others, "Guys, girls, how do we look?"
Mairin grinned, "Looking beautiful."
Misty nodded, "Yeah!"
Chloe, "The neck piece is a nice touch."
Gou, "Want to take pictures together?"
Ritchie, "That's a good idea."
Ash grinned, "I got our trusty camera right here." :3
Gary laughed as the party went on full swing filled with good food, drinks and merriment. Two hours after the party started Lance dropped in with some of the Elites of Jhoto and Kanto and they stayed for an hour before leaving again. Delia packed some of the food for them along with some alcohol and coffee which she realized would not go amiss. They thanked her before teleporting away using their psychic Pokemon, although Agatha stayed behind as she was no longer an active member of the Elites ever since Green started to show interest. Agatha agreed to quit only after Green found a replacement for the Viridian gym, he didn't want another Giovanni taking over.
Gary grinned mischievously, "Misty, Chloe, look up."
Misty, "What do you mea.... Oh!"
Chloe, "Ah! That was not there before."
Ritchie grinned, "You know what that means girls."
Molly, "Kissie kiss ~"
Chloe and Misty blushed before turning to each other and Misty deciding to get over with it, gave Chloe a soft kiss on her lips before moving away red faced. Chloe turned away blushing before shouting at Gou who was laughing at her red face and chased him around the table. She smirked when Gou ran under the mistletoe with Green on the other side.
Chloe, "Looks like it's your turn, Gou."
Gou, "Eh! Dammit.... Ah! Green, I didn't see you there." •\\\\\\\\•
Green chuckled, "Come here."
Green kissed Gou's forehead, "Relax Gou, you know they didn't say where the kiss is supposed to be."
Gou blushed sheepishly, "Yeah, Green's lips are very soft."
Red turned Green around smirking, "My turn."
The two kissed for a few seconds before pulling away, Green was blushing a bit and Red was grinning, while Alain was looking at the mistletoe that placed itself between him and Ash. Alain blinked while Ash blushed making himself look more adorable in Alain's eyes, if that was even possible. Alain held Ash gently as he bent down a bit to give him a soft kiss on his cheek. The next thing about knew the mistletoe was between Cypress and Delia making them laugh and kiss playfully.
Blue gave an exasperated sigh, "Really Gengar?"
Gengar laughed as he appeared holding the mistletoe between Molly and Mairin. Mairin shrugged and kissed Molly's cheek making the younger girl laugh at the ticklish feeling before the mischievous ghost Pokemon moved between Ritchie and Gary. Gary gave an amused huff before giving Ritchie an Eskimo kiss which made Gengar pout. The two boys laughed pointing out the ghost type had not necessary told them what type of kiss it should be. Gengar grumbled about growing up too fast before grinning again and went to hold the mistletoe between Diantha and Augustine. Diantha snorted while Augustine laughed before taking the Kalos Champion's hand and kissing it.
Rosalind turned to her daughter, "Leaf Daisy Oak, did you give that mistletoe to Gengar?"
Leaf, "Maybe?"
Rosalind, "Good job, I got inspiration for my next design."
Leaf grinned at her mother before joining with Gengar on the fun, the Ghost Pokemon grinned at her and held the mistletoe over her and Bill who laughed before kissing her. Blue shook his head swearing his Gengar was more the kids Pokemon rather than his own. Professor Oak laughed hearing his son's grumbles and enjoyed the evening in contentment.
