Found you
The group moved on from the geyser field and went through the cliff like area that seems to be scattered around like a giant maze. Riley was very impressed by Lucario's sensor abilities and made a promise to learn how to do so and reach the same level. He knows his partner Riolu is very impressed as well, if his starry eyed gaze at Lucario is something to go by. The fog had cleared an hour ago allowing them to see the world around them.
Red looked up and whistled, "That's pretty high up."
Green nodded, "Yeah! It is. Wonder what those two are doing up there."
Riley moved forward, "Only one way to find out."
They were walking towards what looked like an opening on the side of the mountain when out of nowhere they were attacked. Lucario intercepted the attack using his aura sphere and looked at the culprit who attacked them. He grunted annoyed at himself for forgetting about the notorious Guardians the Tree of Beginning had. The Regirock observed them from a distance as he contemplated whether or not he should let them go. Lucario took the chance to distract it using another aura sphere and rushed the group inside.
Red panted, "What... What was that?"
Lucario grumbled, -That was Regirock.-
Green's eyes sparkled after he got his breath back, "One of the Legendary? Cool!"
Riley laughed, "Well, things around here just got interesting."
Lucario looked up, -He was giving us a warning.-
Red looked contemplative, "Because we are strangers entering his territory right? But, he let us go, anyway."
Lucario looked around little confused as well, like he found an interesting puzzle. He hummed a little before moving to one of the crystals that was part of the massive ecosystem and focused his aura. He searched for an answer as the three humans and the Pokemon waited for him. Lucario became really fascinated by what he found, he could feel the younger children's presence through the tree, almost as if they were part of it.
Lucario stood back up, -Curious, I didn't see this coming.-
Riley, "What's curious Lucario?"
Lucario observed the Aura Guardian, -Have you learned to read personal auras?-
Riley looked confused but nodded, "It was one of my first lessons."
Lucario motioned to the crystal, -Feel with your aura. You will understand why.-
Riley looked curious now and stepped forward to the crystal and spread his aura before prodding the crystal with it. The answering prod made him gasp and look at it in wonder.
Riley's eyes widened, "How is this... ? They are... This might be more complicated than I thought."
Green poked the frozen teen, "Well?"
Red was waiting, "What is it?"
Riley's head snapped towards the two boys, "You two are telling me everything about your younger siblings. And by everything I mean everything.", he said seriously.
Red and Green looked at each other before giving a sigh, they nodded their head in agreement before searching for a place they could sit safely without angering any other wild and territorial Pokemon. Red decided to give Riley a summary after promising to give a detailed account later on when they return to base. Riley accepted and the two boys started to give the Aura Guardian a summary about the abilities that Ash had developed first then later on Gary did as well. Riley had listened to their explanation quietly while Lucario listened wide eyed. The Pokemon who were not Pikachu, Eevee, Charmander and Litten also listened fascinated by the tale.
Lucario, -They sound like they were blessed by Arceus himself.-
Riley sighed running his hand through his hair, "If they were then this will make them a huge target."
Red nodded, "That's why I want to train and become strong and also be the first Aura Champion, before getting some serious training as a front line hitter."
Green agreed, "Yup and I plan to become the first Psychic Champion before taking over a gym or making my own strong gym and becoming the strongest in Kanto. Maybe a part of the Elite Four as well in the future if needed."
Riley smiled, "You have your futures planned out but is it wise to put yourselves out like that? If you tell the world you are an Aura Guardian and a Psychic User then I can guarantee that you will have many groups after you."
Red smiled mischievously, "Oh no, we are not going to tell anyone outside family and trusted teammates about our abilities."
Green grinned as well, "We are going to become the most notorious Champions that's all. A true power to reckon with."
Lucario who was looking at the two like they were a fascinating item spoke up, -That is not a bad idea. A little risky over all, but not bad, all things considered. I would be honored to train you in Aura combat as well as non Aura combat, if you are interested.-
Red nodded getting up, "I appreciate it. In fact all types of training are welcome, if it means my chances of protecting ourselves and our youngest siblings are higher."
Green smirked, "I'll talk to my tutor about your offer. Personally though, I accept old man!"
Lucario sniffed haughtily, -Excuse me youngster. Who are you calling old?-
Riley laughed getting up as well, "Elder if it's not much I would love to receive training as well."
Lucario, -I don't see why not.-
Riolu, -Once I evolve into Lucario, may I join as well?-
Lucario ruffled the young Aura Pokemon's head, -Of course little one. It would be interesting to know how good I am at teaching. For now let's go find the ones missing.-
Pikachu nodded, -Yes!-
Eevee got up from his resting place, -Hey Pikachu, I want us to train together later.-
Charmander blinked, -What's wrong Eevee?-
Eevee looked at the three infront of him, -Our partners, they are too trusting. Perhaps even too forgiving as well. I have listened to the elder humans talk at night. Being kidnapped is not normal. Their abilities make them vulnerable and last week I overheard the eldest Oak talk with Papa Oak.-
Litten frowned, -What did you hear?-
Eevee looked behind and saw the three humans, Lucario and the older Pokemon talking among themselves, -I heard that those bad humans have a file on big brothers already. I fear for our partners when they become well known.-
Litten hissed, -They will not touch Gary or Ash. I won't let them.-
Charmander nodded serious, -The only way they will is over my dead body. Litten I think we should ask our partners for Everstone for ourselves.-
Litten, -Everstone? Why? I thought we were training to evolve and become stronger.-
Charmander, -We are but just think about it. If we become strong without evolving first then after evolution just how strong will we actually become.-
Litten purred, -My dear, I love how you think.-
Red called them, "Guys come on! Time to go little buds. We found a path inside."
Pikachu, Eevee and the two starter Pokemon gave an answering call and ran over to them. They had found an opening that led outside of the crystal tunnel that they had entered earlier and when they went out they were awed by what they saw. In front of them was a natural cave system lighted by a large crystal that reflected the sunlight everywhere. Riley, Red and Green marvelled at the place before Pikachu sniffed a familiar scent and ran over to the field.
Red, "Pikachu? Slow down there bud."
Green ran after Eevee, "Eevee wait!"
Pikachu sniffed around the field coming across a patch that looked like a campfire, -They were here. Ash and Gary were here just a while ago.-
Eevee, -How about we ask some of them over there?-
Pikachu looked at the Pokemon who were observing them, -Good idea!-
Red, "Ah! This campfire! Green, you don't think?"
Green looked around, "It's possible unless we have to worry about Team Rocket coming here that is."
Riley, "I assure you no humans are allowed to come here without the Queen or Guardian's permission."
Red sighed in relief, "That's good."
Riley smiled, "This place is a sacred ground to Aura Guardians everywhere. We would not allow just anyone to come here without proper reason. Not even Champions!"
Green nodded accepting the explanation, "So here we are... But where do we go from here?"
Pikachu approached one of the Nidorans, -Excuse me, but have you seen two human boys? One with dark hair and another with brown?-
Nidoran the male, -We did, we played together till lunch time.-
Nidoran the female, -Mew took them after lunch. Said he had something important to show them.-
Omanyte approached them, -Are you Pikachu? The one Ash talks about?-
Pikachu brightened, -Yes, that's me! Where is my partner do you know?-
Omanyte giggled, -You really are cute as he said.-
Pikachu rubbed the back of his head embarrassed, -Thank you!-
Kabuto who was behind Omanyte spoke up, -They will be back soon, don't worry.-
Eevee, -Thank you.-
Kabuto, -You must be Gary's Eevee, he told me about you. You really are adorable as he said.-
Eevee blushed at the compliments, -I see thank you for the compliment.-
Red approached, "Pikachu anything?"
Pikachu proceeded to tell or at least try to tell Red, what he had learned from the two supposedly extinct Pokemon. Red after he heard what Pikachu said sighed in relief and sat down, he looked at Green who had also relaxed after Eevee had informed him the same thing Pikachu did. Red smiled thankful that their younger siblings were okay and that they will meet them soon. Just as he thought that he heard two familiar voices talking and turned to the source.
Ash walked out of one of the openings, "I can't believe something big like that happened here."
Gary followed him, "I know what you mean Ash. It's crazy to think about. It was a war."
Pikachu cried, -Ash!-
Charmander, -We found you.-
Ash looked surprised, "Pikachu? Charmander?"
Eevee, -Gary!-
Litten, -There you are!-
Gary, "Eevee, Litten! You are here!"
The two boys hugged the Pokemon who had jumped on them and started to lick and nuzzle them. Gary and Ash laughed as they hugged them close and accepted their licks and nuzzling. Red and Green walked up to the group who were laughing and giggling and picked up their brothers hugging them.
Ash hugged Red back, "You found me again."
Gary grinned, "It took you a day this time."
Red kissed his brother's forehead, "No matter how long it takes I'll always find you."
Green hugged Gary tight, "That's right baby bro. So you better not disappear off the grid when you start your journey. We will find you one way or another."
Ash grinned as he hugged his big brother, "You have no idea what that means to me."
Gary kissed his big brother on his cheek, "I'll hold you to that promise."
Green and Red snuggled with their younger brothers and Pokemon who had joined them making a pile. Riley laughed watching their antics together, this mission, he decided was not so bad despite the revelations earlier. Lucario grinned from the side the happy atmosphere being infectious making the Pokemon happy and laugh.
Ash looked up at Lucario, "Ah! Mr Lucario. We found someone you should meet."
Red looks at his brother, "Who did you find here Ash?"
Gary sobered, "You will see. Mew can you take us to that chamber please."
Mew nodded, -No problem ~-
Riley was watching Mew, "That's the one from Kanto right?"
Red nodded, "Yup!"
The group got up and followed Mew down the familiar crystal tunnels that seem to be endless. They walked and Ash and Gary told their older siblings and Riley about their adventures in the Tree of Beginning. The older siblings told them about their journey as well and Riley chimed in here and there telling them about the Time Flower they found. They reached the heart chamber in no time and Ash held Lucario's hand as he brought him to the crystal formation, he and Gary were observing earlier. Lucario's eyes widened when he realized exactly who it was that was inside the crystal.
